Relaxed, laid-back spa owner Kat Abbott isn't immune to confrontation - being the daughter of a federal judge has taught her not to cower in the face of challenge. Former Navy SEAL, demolitions expert, and member of Alpha Four, Jace "Chaos" Taylor has made it his life's mission to obliterate evil, despite being haunted by shadows of the past. Thrown together by a madman's vengeance, Kat and Chaos find themselves in unfamiliar territory. Both accustomed to calling the shots, their relationship is complicated, to say the least. Yet, when evil takes the upper hand, the couple must overcome obstacles that threaten to separate them forever.
Me Dymond had a way with words. Her characters are outspoken and so realistic I can hear them in my head. I have lived every book in this series so far and plan to grab her others. These are my kind of people.
these is the story of Kat Abbot & Jace "Chaos" Taylor, some times images are better than words so: and the hole i am in charge of my life an no matter what i will face it.
Everyone clames Chaos blows everything up , but i really did want to see/read explosiones, but i loved that he was really good with Kat and how everyone starts their one dinamics, you can so see what to come if you have read more than a few book about romance. The plot was good and the sexy time was :
So if you want short fixes on storys kind of like mistery man fron Kristen Ashley go of it...
3.5* I don't really know what to say about this book, I usually love Mia Dymond's stories they are always really fun, flirty, with hot guys and a little suspense, and I can devour these stories in under a day but with this one I really struggled, don't get me wrong I did enjoy this book, but it just didn't excite me, and I never felt Kat was in real danger, or that her and Chaos (Sgt Taylor) had any chemistry. I do think part of the problem was the length of the story and if it had been longer I would of enjoyed it so much more, however it hasn't put me off reading more of this series and I will definitely look out for the next book.
