What could be better than handsome, sexy Shape-Shifters? Ten brothers who are all Shape-Shifters. Can't wait for the next book in a long series.

This story starts out fast with an intense beginning, and runs strongly from there. We’re introduced to a clan—or perhaps more appropriately litter—of wolf shifters, all brothers, who have lost their mother in mysterious circumstances and are forbidden by their father to shift, for their own safety. Now grown men trying to live in the human world, they don’t quite fit but have no choice other than to try. Jake, the alpha among the brothers, does his best to lead them. But when the youngest brother, Luke, screws up yet again, Jake must take him away from their home in Alaska, to Colorado. The last thing he expects is to find his soul mate there.

Christa is a young woman placed in an impossible position. Fleeing what’s inside her as much as her situation, she takes off on what she thinks is a whim and ultimately winds up exactly where she needs to be. When she and Jake meet, the animal in her recognizes the animal in him. But just because their inner wolves have mated, does that mean they’ll stay together?

I thought the author did a great job of getting inside Christa’s head and I loved the scene in the bondage club, which was shockingly delightful. I’d have liked to get inside gorgeous Jake’s head a little more too. For me, he was a bit hard to read at times. I can see how the story will expand and questions will be answered in subsequent books about the rest of the brothers, and I plan to follow this wolf tribe all the way through.

I was given a copy of this book in return for an honest review.
