Matthew's Gospel was written to show that Jesus is the Messiah foretold in the Old Testament. It is carefully arranged by subject matter as a clear explanation to the Jewish people, and to the world, of who Jesus is.
Here you will meet Jesus the Great Teacher, the Storyteller, the Prophet the Atoning Sacrifice and much, much more.
Charles Prices puts the Gospel into context and helps us to see Jesus through the eyes and ears of Matthew.

During that period he was also involved in an extensive Conference and Evangelistic ministry in many parts of the world, including Western and Eastern Europe, Africa, India, the Far East, the Middle East, the Caribbean, on numerous occasions in Australia and New Zealand and from Coast to Coast in the USA and Canada. Senior Pastor, The Peoples Church, Toronto, Canada.
Charles Price writes from a very learned standpoint in a readable style. I used this book as a devotional, and it worked well although some chapters are quite long. Price’s explanations of the gospel of Matthew are helpful and inspired. It’s a shame he’s not written any more of the books on the Focus on the Bible series, but I look forward to reading some of his other work.
