For the astute reader, this is an exquisite book well worth the hardcover price. It is certainly not a book for the beginning aquarist, but it is a "must read" for anyone with a serious interest in this beautiful fish. I would call this a graduate level text for the genre. The reader will be rewarded if they have significant experience with freshwater fishkeeping and a genuine interest in the discus.
