Oreimo Kuroneko is the continuation of the spin-off manga and the adaptation of the second season of the anime. Including the original four volumes of the manga and the previous volumes of the series we're up to 9 volumes of good old manga. Anyway volume 5 follows the same beats as the second season where Kuroneko confesses to Kyosuke and they begin to date. One of my favorite moments in the entire series and the manga nails the wholesome relationship. The art is drawn with chibi moments that exaggerates the expression which works for the manga format. Transitions are good but I must point this out the sempai over senpai annoys me. I figure it intentional as the other volumes have done it but I find it annoying. This manga perfectly captures what I liked about Oreimo the characters and the chemistry. This volume is no exception, as we reach the endgame of volume 6 and the conclusion to the Oreimo story which will be fun as Oreimo has the most critically acclaimed ending of anime. Although this manga has something up it's sleeve...
