I was given this amazing opportunity to review the first three stories in Sweet Christmas Kisses 2. This book is collaboration of 19 heartwarming Christmas romances by various authors. Who doesn’t love a good Christmas romance? I was going to wait and post all three of my reviews at once but decided against it as I want to give each author their own post, so here goes!

Christmas Papa by Mona Risk
MY REVIEW
This story involves Monica, her twin boys, Louis and Chris, Michael Wheeler, and Jake Carlton. The majority of the book takes place in Lexington, Kentucky.
Monica and Michael meet while in a wedding. Their meeting is less than ideal as Monica has an unexpected visitor, her “boyfriend” Jake Carlton, a doctor who has moved to Alaska.
Monica is a single mother of twin boys that is currently attending school to obtain her degree in Journalism. Monica did not have the easiest childhood as she was raised without her father and her mother could never be nominated as mother of the year. Monica is used to being hurt by men and doesn’t trust them. I can’t say I blame her!

Michael Wheeler has a reputation for being a playboy and is far from ready for any commitment. He’s successful and his job requires a lot of travel. Jake Carlton is a doctor that has moved to Alaska and is “dating” Monica long distance.

This is a fast paced book, which I love, and is a very endearing love story. Monica does not sit around and wait for a man to come rescue her. She moves forward with her life putting her children and education before anything else.

Ultimately, Monica overcomes so much of her past and I love the way Michael connects with Monica’s twin boys. Talk about pulling at your heartstrings!!!

I think this quote in the book sums this book up completely, “In his arms, she would forget her past and her insecurities, and find her future and happiness.”~Monica

Does Monica find happiness in the arms of Jake or Michael????

Gingerbread Kisses by Beate Boeker
MY REVIEW

Carol has traveled to Dolomite Alps in Italy to attend her younger sister's, Natasha, Christmas wedding to Angelo Bertolli, an extremely rich bachelor and provide her cookie catering services at the wedding.

This is also supposed to be a vacation for Carol as she has been working effortlessly to establish her own cookie business. However, her sister has turned into a bridezilla. While Carol is in the hotel kitchen catering to bridezilla's demands, Carol meets Tom, the hotel manager, a sexy Italian.

Carol and Tom have an obvious connection but run into problems as Carol is based in Boston and Tom lives in Italy, and is further complicated by Natasha's whimsical demands of her fiance, who is also Tom's best friend. Will true love reign with another Christmas wedding on the horizon or will spoiled Natasha ruin Carol's chance at love?

Boycotting Christmas by Melinda Curtis

MY REVIEW
This Christmas story involves Nick Santolli, his five-year-old niece, Cindy, and Joy, and it takes place in Brody Falls. Initially, this book started out as a Hallmark movie and quickly turned into National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and it had me laughing all the way.

Nick, the town "man-whore", has assumed the care of his niece as both of her parent have been deployed overseas. Nick is determined to give Cindy the best Christmas ever. So, he seeks out the help of an old friend, Joy, but Nick doesn't know that Joy is currently boycotting Christmas because her father is engaged to Joy's best friend, Penny.

Penny is quite a character in this book. She reminds me of the "plastics" from Mean Girls. Joy and Penny's banter throughout the book is brilliant.

Nick and Joy have been friends for years with Joy wanting more from Nick, but Nick had been given strict orders from his best friend, Joy's brother, and Joy's father, to stay away from Joy.

The story builds off their past and their promise to give Cindy the best Christmas ever.

This was my favorite of the three stories that I read. It is funny, sweet, and full of Christmas spirit.

Thank you to bestselling author, Melinda Curtis, for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. My reviews are based on my opinions of the book and are my opinions alone.

I still have 4 stories to read but being so long after Christmas, I needed a break from Christmas stories. So, I am sure that I will return to finish those in the future and if they are as good as the ones I read, I will not be disappointed.

Christmas Papa --- Mona Risk
What a sweet story. Love how Monica is so strong and open to allowing herself to consider things. At her stepsister’s wedding, she meets Michael who ends up escorting both bridesmaids because Monica’s groomsman doesn’t show up.
Love the interaction between Monica and Michael. They really do have a lot to overcome in order to have any type of relationship. It is fun to watch them work on that.

Gingerbread Kisses --- Beate Boeker
What a fun story. Who would have seen a love come out of making gingerbread men? Carol was there creating them for her sister’s wedding. Tom, the hotel manager, ended up helping her when Carol’s sister insisted on “skinny” gingerbread men. Through their ups and downs and wedding drama, can Tom and Carol actually find love. It will certainly be a lot harder when Tom lives in Italy and doesn’t want to move. Carol lives in Boston and that is where her business is located. You will have to read to find out.

Boycotting Christmas -- Melinda Curtis
Family dramas always more intense around the holidays. Joy and her brother, Kyle, are boycotting Christmas because Joy’s BFF, Penny, is marrying her father on New Year’s Eve. Penny’s age, taste in decorations and how she is acting is the main reason.
Nick, Kyle’s best friend, is a bachelor who all of a sudden has to make Christmas special for his niece since her mother was deployed. And the Love Lady at the market is certainly a fairy godmother as she deals out advice on how to find your soul mate. At the advice of the Love Lady, Nick asks Joy to help him make Christmas special for his niece. What could go wrong or right with that? Fun story.

A Christmas to Remember -- Denise Devine
A snowstorm has forced Katie to spend the night in the same hotel where she lost her husband to a tragic snowmobile accident. Ryan is escaping from his family’s drama this Christmas and decided to spend the holiday at his hotel snowmobiling. He ended up helping Katie move her car, then rescued a dog from the storm only to find out that she was pregnant.
It was fun part of the story is to find Katie and Ryan getting stuck in a situation that neither of them expected. Both not wanting a romantic involvement are now in the same room with a dog who is about to have puppies, the girls from hotel staff fussing over the dog while the hotel management against dogs staying in the hotel. Between all of the craziness could Katie and Ryan actually find they have feelings for each other?

An Angel for Christmas --Raine English
What a sweet short story. Alexa never thought that when she was at the lowest point in her life with her daughter, Cara, that a new job would change everything. You have to feel so sorry for Blake’s daughter, Brit, she is a spoiled child but not a mean one. One of Brit’s major issues was and is her mother, but luckily, she divorced Blake and left Brit behind. When Blake hires Alexa to be Brit’s nanny, can everyone become a family, or will Alexa leave just like the previous nannies? You will have to read to find out.

The Cowboy's Christmas Bride -- Aileen Fish
What a lovely story about two people who are struggling to understand what they need and want out of life. Dylan has closed himself off because of his mother leaving. Tara felt she had to work at her grandfather’s Veterinary practice to pay him back all he did for her. Since they lived in towns hours apart, they could never work as a couple, or could they? You will have to read to find out.

Lucky Break Christmas: Second Honeymoon -- Particia Forsythe
What a quirky story, I didn’t think that Lucky Break was the name of a town. It was and it was a quirky town full of odd characters. Lily met Marc, they fell in love and got married within weeks. But their wedding and honeymoon proved to be disastrous. I had to laugh at the owners of a gym who were also firefighters. Who would have guessed that those guys who are named, Bruiser, Bull and Bison, were wedding planners. That really added to the story.

Beach Walk --- Grace Greene
Kelli and Dylan were both very broken people who came from broken homes. That they both ended up in the house of a woman who was so full of love was interesting. Dylan had not visited his aunt in many, many years but after she passed, he turned up. Kelli was a lost teenager who stumbled onto Margie’s porch to sleep for the night. Margie takes Kelli in and treats her like a daughter. So now that Dylan and Kelli are both there after Margie’s death, who owns the house?

An Irish Christmas Blessing -- Roxanne Rustand
Loved this story, Eve is going to manage Shauna’s book store in a small town in Ireland for a couple of months around Christmas. She arrives late and Shauna is already gone which is when the craziness begins. Eve hears a woman screaming upstairs and a man comes out of the back bedroom clearly looking like he is on drugs. Eve calls the police, but they arrive because another call had come in saying that Eve was robbing the store. It is a good story about what you think is not always the truth.

Christman Wedding -- Magdelena Scott
In this story you would think it would be about a bridezilla but instead it about a groomzilla—which was pretty funny. It was a fun story to see how a wedding at Christmas could be pulled off and I did enjoy Melissa’s position attitude. What I found frustrating about this story was that it seemed to be missing so much of a backstory of the characters. I know that they tried to fill us in but the timing of the fill in was off. I did love the ending.

Finding You at Christmas -- Kristin Wallace
Janie is one strong woman who sacrifices for everyone else until one day, she decides that she needs a life. So, her sister sets her up on a blind date with a divorced doctor with 2 first names. Fate would have it that her car dies, and she is stranded in the middle of nowhere.
Caleb is that man who comes to her rescue. They seem to have a good time together, but it is cut short when the tow truck driver turns up. But when Janie finds out that Caleb is going to be the new minister at the church, she is not sure that they should pursue a relationship. Can he give her the live that she is looking for?

Christmas Laurel -- Christine Bush
This story is one that makes you really think about what war is really like and you wonder why humans keep engaging in them. Laurel is in the mountains to get away from Christmas, she suffered a very traumatic Christmas last year. Chance has lived in these mountains for about 3 years and it is an accident that they actually meet. This story is about Laurel and Chance but when you mix in Laurel’s dog, Duck, a longtime resident, Magda, and her a 6-year grandson, Paulie, you have a warm-hearted story that gives you hope.

Country Christmas -- Lois Greiman
This story was truly intriguing and a good bit of a mystery. I really enjoyed the characters at the Lazy, Colt, Brody, Linc, Emily, Cassie and baby Bliss. They were a unique bunch of people. But Penny Rogers the guest who came to stay was a bit odd. I was so confused through most of the story and, but it kept me wanted to find out what the connections were between everyone. It was a good story.

The Christmas Crusade -- Shanna Hatfield
A great story about Kat who is bent on making her life all about her career and Levi who is saving a neighborhood that is extremely poor. They had a relationship in the past, but she broke it off. Now that Kat and Levi have to work together, can they come to a point where they can have both careers and love? A fun story to read.

A Christmas Spark -- Ciara Knight
This story is awesome, the characters are so real that you feel that you know them. It is truly a story about love and redemption. You find yourself routing for Sara and Dalton that they find their Christmas spark. I couldn’t put it down once I started it. If you are looking for a heartwarming story, then you must read this one.

Sweet Christmas Kisses 2 is a collection of 19 sweet romances brought to you by some incredible authors. These holiday novellas are a steal at the price of 99cents and I absolutely loved the three stories that were sent to me in advance for a review of the boxed set.

Christmas Papa by Mona Risk, is a part of her Holiday Babies series and you get a glimpse of a number of characters from older books. However the story this time round is focused on Lou Roland's daughter Monica. She has twin toddlers and is working through school. She would like a man to act as her sons' father and be a loving partner to her, but she has little hope of that actually happening. After all what man would want another man's sons? Michael Wheeler is a love them and leave them types who lets anyone he gets involved with know that he's not into commitment. Unfortunately when it comes to Monica, his well worn lines just don't seem right. Is he going to become the twins Christmas Papa?

Gingerbread Kisses by Beate Boeker, is a celebration of Carol's sister Natasha's wedding. Carol who runs her own cookie business in Boston is attending the wedding being hosted at the Groom's hotel in Italy. She is also making some of her famous Gingerbread men, only her sister is being difficult as the bride and wants to put them on a diet since she finds them too fat. The manager of the Italian hotel is her future brother in law's best friend. He is also in danger of losing his job because of her sister. How will Carol resolve the issue to please all sides? And will Tom ever be more than a friend she made in Italy?

Boycotting Christmas by Melinda Curtis, is a delightful tale of a girl who loves Christmas but has a pact with her brother to boycott it this year to drive some sense into their father's head. The father is intent on marrying Joy's best friend and both Joy and her brother can not let that happen. Nick is saddled with his niece Cindy when his sister gets deployed last minute. He's a bachelor who has not put up a tree in his life and Cindy is sure that Christmas is ruined till Nick spots Joy and asks for her help. Joy agrees to consult on their holiday plans and decides that it is not cheating on her boycott when it is for the noble cause of giving Cindy a great holiday. However there are more surprises to come as the holiday season progresses, and Joy and Nick have no clue what the lady who gives love advice is talking about as yet.

I received an advanced copy of a few of the stories in this collection in exchange for an honest review.

I haven't read all of the stories yet, but I have really enjoyed the ones I did get to read already. Below are brief reviews of the ones I have finished.

Christmas Papa by Mona Risk
This was a very sweet story. Monica was such a wonderful mom and tried really hard to keep control of her life and trying to not set herself up for heartache. She had been warned about Michael, that he wasn't the committment type. But at her step-sister's wedding, she and Michael talk and then a friendship develops. I really liked how the story played out. It certainly wasn't a whirlwind romance. The timeline was very believable (which can be hard to do with short novellas like this).

Gingerbread Kisses by Beate Boeker
This one was a very quick read. I couldn't believe it when I had hit the end already because it moved at such a great pace. I loved the characters in this one. Carol was great and I wish I could've tasted the gingerbread cookies she was making. Just reading about them made my mouth water. Tom was wonderful as well. All around a very sweet story.

Boycotting Christmas by Melinda Curtis
Joy is boycotting Christmas, because her father is set to marry her former friend Penny. Nick is a confirmed bachelor who ends up watching his niece while her parents are deployed overseas. Nick wants to do Christmas right for Cindy, so he asks Joy to help him because previous to her boycott, her family always put on a very festive Christmas celebration.
I loved Joy and Nick. Their characters were great. Penny was good for a lot of laughs, especially her choice in Christmas decorations. I loved the light hearted romance spun out of friendship. Another great story.

I can't wait to read the rest of the stories in this collection!

Christmas Papa by Mona Risk - Monica is a single mother with twin boys. She is going to school to finish her degree and she thinks she has a man picked out to be her future husband. The trouble is, is that he is living in Alaska and she rarely hears from him. Michael travels constantly for business and doesn't have time for a relationship, but there is something about Monica and her sons.

Gingerbread Kisses by Beate Boeker - Carol is baking cookies for her sister's wedding in a beautiful hotel in Italy. She practically raised her sister and is feeling a little lost at the thought that she will be losing her. Tom is the manager of the hotel and friend of the groom. Carol lives in Boston and Tom in Italy. How can they have such a long distance relationship.

Boycotting Christmas by Melinda Curtis - Nick has to have a very special Christmas for his niece as her mom and dad are both deployed and it looks like they might get a divorce. So, he wants all to be perfect. He turns to Joy because she has always loved Christmas. But, this year, she is boycotting Christmas. Joy's father is supposed to marry her best friend in a few days and has turned her life upside down. Nick and Joy both need to find the Christmas spirit.

Note: I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review.

I've highlighted those that I read and rated them individually. All in all, I was impressed by the overall quality of this collection. These are not unknown authors trying to secure a reputation, so feel confident in ordering this set and plan on enjoying yourself. Even though I have not been able to completely read every story, it is my desire and hope to do so.

An Angel for Christmas by Raine English

This is a spin off Cinderella story. Alexa is a widowed mother of an 8 year old daughter who has recently lost her job along with many others when the local business closed to move out of state. She's struggling to make rent and even put food on the table.

Blake is the executive in charge of that business who was persuaded by the company's board to move that part of his company. He's also divorced and struggling to raise his 10 year old daughter who is increasingly getting out of control.

After a couple of chance meetings, Blake decides to hire Alexa as his nanny to help with his daughter - also in the hopes that her daughter would be a positive influence.

All in all it's a cute story, but suffers from "novella syndrome" in that it's just too rushed. There's too much story for the length allowed to the point that it becomes unrealistic. If the author had allowed the story to stretch over more time, it would have been believable, but as it stands, it's too much, too fast.

Do I like the story? Yes. Do I think it's realistic? No. However, if the author wanted to take this and expand it further and stretch out the timeline, it has the potential to be great.

My rating: 4 stars

The Cowboy's Christmas Bride by Aileen Fish

I liked this story.

Tara is driving to visit her good friend from college during the Christmas season and gets stuck in the snow. Luckily, she's rescued by a local rancher, Dylan. Not wanting to give anything away, I'll let you enjoy the rest of the story.

However, this story works for me on many levels, but most importantly, it has a good pace to it. The timeline doesn't feel rushed and the characters are developed enough for the romance to be believable.

At the moment, I don't know if the author is planning on writing additional stories based on any of the other secondary characters, but there's enough here for her to do so. And, if she does, it'd be nice to revisit Dylan and Tara.

My rating: 5 stars.

************
Lucky Break Christmas: Second Honeymoon by Patricia Forsythe

This is a different sort of story in that the couple, Marc and Lily, are already married. It begins with them returning from their honeymoon that had been a complete disaster. They had met and decided to get married in only a few weeks and during that time, all sorts of bizarre events have occurred, causing Lily to be superstitious and decide that if she didn't get out of the marriage, something horrible would happen. Well, Marc refuses to give up and the story follows his efforts to change her mind.

It's a cute story and I liked how it focused on marriage and even though problems might happen, the couple can work through those and move forward with their relationship.

My rating - 5 stars

************
Beach Walk by Grace Greene

This is a darker sort of romance - It involves Kelli, who has lived for the last 12 years with Margie, and Dylan, Margie's nephew. The story opens just after Margie dies and Kelli is struggling to cope when Dylan shows up, not knowing that his aunt has died.

Both characters have a scarred past and the story focuses on how they each move beyond their fears and insecurities. It's much more emotional than your typical light hearted tale. It's as much an expose on how fear can mess you up and push others away as it is otherwise. Thankfully, forgiveness and the desire for honesty wins in the end.

I'm not sure how to rate it. On the one hand, it's somewhat depressing, but it turns around at the end with an upbeat promise of love, forgiveness, and hope.

Final rating: 4.5 stars.

Finding You at Christmas by Kristin Wallace

This is a cute story that packs in some humor along with some life lessons of moving on in life after a great tragedy. Janie finally decides to make some changes to her life, but when those changes aren't exactly what she's expecting, she doesn't quite know how to handle it. Is Caleb really all he seems to be?

It's not a long read, I think you'll enjoy the time spent.

My rating: 5 stars.

The Christmas Crusade by Shanna Hatfield

This is a second chance story about Kathleen (Kat) and Levi. The story mostly follows Kathleen and her transformation from a corporate ladder climber to that of someone willing to allow love into her life. Even though she loves Levi and he loves her she keeps pushing him away. But, when her grandfather tries to talk sense in her, is it too late? Will she have a 3rd chance?

I liked the story, but I got frustrated with Kathleen. I thought she was ridiculous in her arguments. It's a contemporary setting and in the contemporary world there are lots of executive women who have families and make it work.

I also felt that the ending was either a suspension of reality or Levi had really taken a leap of faith that she would come around!

My rating - 3 stars. It lost points in the end when she kept relying on her tired old arguments and then the ending was suspicious.

************
The Christmas Charm by Susan R. Hughes

This is a second chance story about Gemma and Chris. They were best friends starting in Jr High that lasted all through college, but life events drew them apart. Now, 15 years later, they are able to reconnect. The story that unfolds is sweet and well done. They each have painful experiences that they have to grieve over and move beyond, but is their friendship enough for them to move forward in a new way?

I definitely recommend reading this story. Even though it's novella length, it's done well. The characters are defined well enough that you get to know them. The emotions feel real, and the resolution is realistic.

My rating - 5 stars.

************
Evergreen Romance by Julie Jarnagin

This is a second chance story about Jillian and Monty.

Jillian and Monty used to date in high school and were getting close when Monty left for college. Unfortunately, he quit calling and broke things off when Jillian thought they might have a future. Fast forward several years and each have their own set of disappointments, hurts, and worries that they are struggling to overcome. He's returned to his hometown, she's still there, and they are thrown together at work. What's going to happen?

This story started out strong and interesting. The character development seemed good and I had high hopes of a strong finish. Unfortunately, it fell victim to what so often happens with novellas - an abbreviated ending. This story has good bones to it, it just needs a bit more flesh to the ending. It doesn't even need that much more, just more so that the ending is more satisfying. I felt short changed. Like the conflict was already resolved and I missed reading about how that happened.

My rating - 4 stars - it's still a good storyline except for the rushed ending.

************
My Christmas Cupcake by Shaleen Kapil

Clare, a local in the small Florida seaside town, runs a bakery. Just as she's about to close up and lock the door, a man comes running up with an order to fill for Christmas the next day. He seems like a nice man, so she reopens and does what she can to fill the order. He introduces himself as Garrett and she really likes what she sees!

Garrett can't believe his luck when he almost forgets to get the desserts for his brother and sister in law's Christmas dinner. Not only is he successful at getting the order filled, but the bakery owner is beautiful.

Anyway, that's a quick summary of the opening pages of this really cute story. I enjoyed reading about how a brilliant scientist with a PhD can stumble for words when he's nervous around a woman he's attracted to.

I don't want to give any of the story away. I'll simply encourage you to read it for yourself. It doesn't take long to read and you'll enjoy a few chuckles and have a smile on your face when you finish it.

My rating - 5 stars

A Christmas Spark by Ciara Knight,

This is a much more emotional story, but the tenderness and love are so worth the read.

Sara is heading back to the mountain cabin that holds so many secrets from her childhood. She feels the urge to try to find out what happened that night so many years ago that drastically changed her life. She wants to find answers that will help her decide what to do - should she reconcile with her ex? should she move on without him? What about her son? What's best for him?

Dalton has a past too. He feels like half a man - at least that's what his ex called him. He's hoping for a quiet Christmas at the cabin where he can make necessary repairs for his friends.

Neither realize that the other is or will be at the cabin. But, when Sara arrives and Dalton is already there, there's no leaving with the ice and snow falling. What happens over the next 2 days is a time of openness, healing, and bonding. Each of them reach out to the other, but will it last? Will it simply be a therapy session and that's it?

I really liked this story. It was tender, sweet, and encouraging.
My rating: 4.5 stars

Sweet Blizzard by Milou Koenings.

This is a quick read, but it's about pushing past the distractions of life and pursuing what truly important - true love that will last a lifetime.

Loren is a east coast socialite heading toward a holiday in small town Illinois when her car gets stuck in the snow. Trey is a up and coming author who is heading home from his day job at the youth rehab facility when he spots her car and saves her life. Over the next couple of days, they get to know each other and emotions start to build. Unfortunately, they don't realize until too late that their relationship could be a conflict of interest. Now, it's a matter of them deciding if it's worth pursuing a relationship or if they should allow the fear of scandal to keep them apart. Is the possibility of finding love worth the effort?

My rating - 3.5 stars. It's good, just not fantastic.

Christmas Papa by Mona Risk

Monica thinks she loves Jake but he is in Alaska and she hasn't seen or heard from him in a while. At Claire and David's wedding she thought Jake would be there, but he wasn't, so she found herself dancing with Michael, he kissed her and guess who walked in at that moment and caught her.

This is a short story that you will enjoy, I know that I did. I love the twins and the things that Michael does for Monica so that he can show her that he does care for her.

It's a great read. Check it out.

A Christmas to Remember by Denise Devine

Katie McGowan is heading home to spend Christmas with her family. She didn't expect to get snowed in at Lakewood Resort, the place that held so many memories for her. Her husband was killed on one of the snowmobile trails there 2 years ago and she hadn't been back since.

Ryan Scott is running from his family and Christmas. His parents are getting a divorce and he has decided to not spend time with his sister and her family. He is at Lakewood Resort to take his snowmobile out on the trails, but with the blizzard he'll have to wait.

Katie and Ryan rescue an abandoned pup while snowed in at the Resort. Katie has to work through her loss. Ryan has to realize what is important to him. In the midst of this, will they find each other? This was a great story!

An Angel for Christmas by Raine English

Alexa Stevens was married, had a house, had a job, had a daughter, had enough money to get by, and then everything went wrong. Her husband killed himself, she was laid off, she didn't know how she was going to make the rent, and didn't have enough money to buy groceries. How could she ever trust anyone? Her husband hadn't told her the truth about their circumstances and her boss had moved his company out of state, laying off employees. Didn't he know what he'd done and the effect it would have on the laid off employees? Alexa's daughter, 8 year old Cara, doesn't understand what is going on.

Alexa and her friend Sally talk about the owner of the company that laid them off and speculate what they would do if they could talk to the owner.

Blake Collins' wife left him for the pool boy after she spoiled their 10 year old daughter Britney to the point no one could do anything with her. Nannies had come and gone. None would stay. Can he convince Alexa to come work for him as his nanny to Britney? Can Alexa teach Blake that not all women are like his ex-wife?

I loved this story and the characters Alexa and Blake. A wonderfully sweet Christmas romance!

The Cowboy's Christmas Bride by Aileen Fish

Tara Goodwin planned to spend Christmas break with her best friend Cheyenne. She gets stuck in the snow and Dylan Frost rescues her. They have to spend the night in his cabin because he has a cow giving birth. Tara is an almost-graduate of vet school and helps with the delivery. I loved their bantering back and forth. Dylan's mother left him and his brothers when he was little and he hasn't forgotten nor forgiven her. He figures if his mother could leave him how could anyone else love him. Tara is going to take over her grandpa's vet clinic when she graduates to pay him back for her schooling. They are hundreds of miles apart. How can they continue a relationship if they will never see each other? Will Dylan's heart open to love? Will they be able to make it work being so far apart? This sweet romance is a great story! Her independence and sense of family draws Dylan, but will it also keep them apart?

I received a free copy of these three stories in exchange for an honest review.

CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS
I have read a three of the stories so far in this wonderful box set. Each of them adds a unique spin on the Christmas holiday and romance and new beginnings. Some have angst, some heartache, and pain, but most of all, a reminder that there is love and happiness to be found. This is a wonderful box set.

Christmas Wedding (Serendipity, Indiana - Book Three) by Magdalena Scott
SURROUNDED BY FAMILY--LONGSTANDING AND NEWFOUND
I enjoyed this second chance romance story that takes place in Serendipity, Indiana where Jim Standish and Melissa Singer are planning their wedding. High school sweethearts who broke up but reconnected twenty years later. At time,s I would have liked to knock both of their heads together for their stubbornness when it came to the wedding and where to live. The plot had me both laughing and crying with this captivating tale. I found the dialog entertaining with a delightful cast of characters. This story is part of a Serendipity, Indiana Book series but reads well as a standalone.

Finding You at Christmas (Shellwater Key Tales) by Kristin Wallace
OPERATION: GET A LIFE
This is a beautiful and emotional Christmas love story. Caleb Montgomery comes to the rescue of Janie Worthy life a knight in shining armor. Janie is more a damsel in distress than she realizes, but he sees the ivory tower she has locked herself in. She realizes she has been letting life pass her by and it's time to let go, be happy and be loved. What an inspirational message with great characters and heartwarming dialog. God always does have a master plan in place, it's not an accident. This story is part of Shellwater Keys Tales series but reads well as a standalone.

Christmas Laurel by Christine Bush
LEARNING TO LIVE AGAIN
This is an emotional Christmas story of dealing with loss and heartache. Wanting to avoid Christmas, as if it will make the pain go away. Laurel is suffering PTSD and goes into the Smoky Mountains to get away from noise and life, seeking solitude. Chance Adams has done the same after the death of his fiancé. He helps her see that even the worst losses in life don't cancel out the good memories. Life can go on. The story keeps the pages turning and the emotions are heart wrenching. It's also a reminder that everyone has to deal with loss at sometimes in their life. Do you grieve and shut out the world or to you celebrate the life of those you loved and loss?

I have received a copy in advance of the first three books in exchange for an honest review.

Christmas Papa by Mona Risk -
Monica, a single mom of young twin boys, stands by watching her stepsister shine as only a bride should on her wedding day. Monica is just a little envious though, she's wondering if she'll ever find a man to love her and her boys without questions. Even though she has done things a little out of order, children first, Monica is working on her college degree and her family has been helping her out along the way. Right now she's at her sister's wedding and is a bridesmaid and has met the grooms brother, Michael who seems to like her. Can he stop his playboy ways and become a family man?

In order to find out if Monica gets her happy ending she'll have to go through some really awesome highs but also really sad lows. Will she graduate and make her father proud? What about finding a man to love her AND her children? Is that even possible? If it is I'm sure Monica will find a way to make it happen!

Gingerbread Kisses by Beale Boeker

How can a gingerbread man ever be too fat? Natasha seems to think her sister, Carol, is making the gingerbread men cookies too fat for her wedding. Carol can not understand how a perfectly cute gingerbread man could ever be considered fat! This was the last straw for Carol, Natasha upset her and she would never know because she'd already walked out of the kitchen but Tom would know. Tom was the manager of the hotel where Natasha was getting married at. The scene that Tom had witnessed – a strong woman crying, intrigued him and it was enough to have him wanting to help Carol feel better. Carol was giving her sister her baking services as a wedding gift, was she ready to give her heart out to someone she barely knew as well?

Gingerbread Kisses is such a heartwarming story!

Boycotting Christmas by Melinda Curtis

A grown man in need of a Christmas miracle, a little girl whose parents were overseas serving our country, and a woman boycotting Christmas – all of this seems to me that it would add up to be a mess but somehow Melinda Curtis makes it add up to a Christmas love story.

If you enjoy holiday stories, you'll love Sweet Christmas Kisses 2. The variety was amazing and kept me enchanted. This book is filled with love, family and romance.

Christmas Papa by Mona Risk tells the story of a single mother of twins who finds herself attracted to the eternal bachelor. He loves the ladies and leaves them. Children and Christmas fill me with happiness. Monica and Michael are such special characters. I wanted them together. Michael made me smile when he interacted with the boys, Louis and Chris. I fell in love with him when he wanted to make these children his. The Holiday Babies Series is one that I enjoy.

Gingerbread Kisses by Beate Boeker is set in a luxury hotel in the Dolomite Alps in Italy. Carol is a baker who is there for her sister's wedding. Her gift to the bride and groom is gingerbread name tags for the reception. As she's baking her treats, she meets Tom who is the hotel manager and a sweet romance develops between them. Can it be more than a Christmas interlude? This story was short and sweet. I liked that the characters had such an immediate connection. The road to love had a few bumps but it made the end so much sweeter. What's more perfect than finding true love at Christmas.

Boycotting Christmas by Melinda Curtis tickled my funny bone. I laughed out loud at this romantic comedy that had a touch of fairy tale magic. Nick Santolli wants to give his niece the Perfect Christmas. Her parents have been deployed and he's taking care of the five year old. He needs all the help that he can get. Luckily Joy Encastle is there. She is the essence of holiday spirit. Except this year. She's boycotting the holiday. The attraction between them is amazing. They need to forget the past and embrace the future. It takes a magical Mrs. Claus in the form of the love advice lady to get them together. Melinda Curtis has written a marvelous romance that had me laughing, sighing and smiling. The dialogue sparkles and the secondary characters are compelling, but Joy and Nick stole my heart.

These are just a few of the stories in this collection. I enjoyed them all. Sweet Christmas Kisses is a special holiday treat.

I am taking my time to appreciate and enjoy the delightful books in this collection.

It opens with Christmas Papa by Mona Risk. Single mother of twins finds it difficult to trust men. Several times she thinks she has found a relationship she can count on, only to be disappointed. When a notorious playboy promises not to let her and her sons down, how can Monica risk her heart again? Sweet and unexpected.

An Angel For Christmas by Raine English is truly a double entendre.
Alexa lost her husband and her job and will soon have no money to pay the rent. She has a young daughter to raise.
Blake Collins lost his wife but retained full custody of his daughter.
What he can't hold onto are nannies. Daughter Brittney is a handful.
Can these two families come together to solve each other's problems?
A fast romantic holiday novella.

Beach Walk by Grace Greene is part mystery, part survival story and a good old fashioned story about people coming together when proximity makes them aware of how much they have in common. Until they figure that out, Kelli and Dylan experience an awkward compromise.

Finding You At Christmas by Kristin Wallace is a belated coming of age story. Janie Worth is almost forty, but she put her life on hold at a young age, after her mother died, to help raise her younger siblings.
Now feeling like a spinster, she feels life is passing her by. She decides to begin Operation: Get A Life. Well, that doesn't begin as smoothly as she hopes. Finding herself stranded on the side of the road wearing 4" stiletto heels, without her cell phone, you can imagine her anxiety when the only vehicle anywhere near is a loud motorcycle with a rider wearing full leather. This is more adventure than Janie bargained for.
A Christian romance that reminds us not to judge others, and to be kinder to ourselves.

I love Christmas all year long. I am one of those people who watch Christmas movies in the Spring and Summer and read Christmas books and make Christmas dolls all year long. This is my second time to read this book so I thought is about time I posted a review. If you have time this holiday season (or after) and you want to sit down and relax with a good read THIS IS THE COLLECTION FOR YOU! This book is full of heartwarming stories of romance that make you feel good and make the holiday season what it should be all about LOVE and family.

One of my favorite romance authors Magdalena Scott is in this collection and that grabbed me from the start so I knew I could not go wrong with this set if she gave her stamp of approval. I loved Mistletoe in Maine and An Almost Perfect Christmas. There are so many books and novellas if one is not perfect for you keep reading I am sure the next one will be. Happy Holidays whatever time of the year you read this collection.

I bought this book last year. I only this season got to read it. I started it in November 2016, but with reviewing ARC's I had to stop several times, and finished the last book today. I bought this set because of a few recognized author names and the amazing price for 19 books by 19 different authors. I am not a big fan of reviewing these boxed sets. With SO MANY different stories by different authors it makes it hard. There were a few stories that I was lukewarm, eh about and some I really enjoyed. A few I loved. For that reason I have to give it a 3 1/2. Closer to a 4.

These are sweet, heartwarming. No sex stories. Stories of old flames reunited and love at first sight. These stories take you from the Smoky mountains, to a bakery in the Italian Alps. To Paris France, to Ireland. Even a quirky Arizona town. All in all 19 great stories to get you in the Holiday spirit.

Sweet Christmas Kisses 2 is a wonderful set of 19 novellas! From heartwarming to humorous, I loved the romance in these tender tales.

Denise Devine tugged at my heartstrings in A Christmas to Remember. I really enjoyed Katie and Ryan’s unexpected holiday celebration! Raine English completely charmed me with An Angel for Christmas. I loved Alexa, Blake, and their girls! Aileen Fish delighted me with her cowboy Christmas story; Tara and Dylan are quite a pair!

I could go on, but I’ll let you read for yourself. These stories are sure to be enjoyed by fans of sweet, holiday romances, so treat yourself and others to the Sweet Christmas Kisses 2 collection!

I received a complimentary copy of these stories in exchange for an unbiased review. All thoughts expressed are my own.

This is a great collection of Christmas novellas from some wonderful authors. I have read some of them and enjoyed them. I especially liked the one by Melinda Curtis, Boycotting Christmas. It was a cute, easy-to-read novella. The characters were fun and interesting. The story was pretty simple and mostly predictable, but I enjoyed reading it. I've read several of Melinda's novellas, as well as some of her longer stories, and they are always a good read. I rarely find typos or other editing mistakes in her books, which I can't say about some other authors nowadays. There are many good authors involved in this collection, so there's sure to be something for everyone. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys short, fun Christmas stories.

This was only a sample and held one complete story and a few pages of the second.
The first story,Christmas Papa, was a good story, but the end was not satisfactory. Several things were not resolved and left the reader wondering.
The second story, Gingerbread Kisses, really did not have enough info to make a judgement about it.

This bundle was a group of Christian Christmas romance stories. I like some a lot, and others were fairly good, and a few I didn't like very much. The price was very low. The stories were novellas, and so quick reads.

Whilst some were okay, I found some very tedious and lacking anything to keep me interested. There is a reason these were free books!
