Dee Milan knows she’s been unlucky in love, having traded in her dreams for the glitz and glamor of marrying a wealthy man. But what she doesn’t know is that she’ll be even unluckier if her scheming husband Steve—a powerful, ruthless brute—gets away with his latest plan for her.
When a mysterious, handsome stranger with brains and a hard body shows up on the sailboat docked next to her yacht, Dee discovers her luck just might change.
Jared Herreshoff is brilliant at uncovering fraud, making international deals, and investigating people of interest. He’s a master at navigating complex problems and navigating his beloved sailboat Chauffeuse. Although he couldn’t save his first love, he’s faced with a second chance when he’s asked to protect Dee.
Can Jared save Dee from a life of bad decisions, deception, and danger?
With high-spirited adventure that goes from Miami Beach to the Bahamas and then to Las Vegas, Saving Dee is a wild ride of romance, humor, and excitement.
L. H. Williams is a pseudonym for Louise and Heyward Williams, a young-at-heart married couple who found each other again after many years apart. They discovered they shared a love of writing that had begun decades ago in junior high school, where they both studied under the watchful eye of BCHS’s much-loved English teacher, Doris Pock. They found that writing was the perfect hobby for them, since it gave them an outlet for their vivid imaginations. Louise was the lover of romantic fiction and Heyward liked to immerse himself in adventure novels. Since they began writing they have created a cast of characters that flows freely from one book to another. THE DEE CHRONICLES, as they call their series, is now into its fourth book, which will be released in the summer of 2016.
I received my copy of Saving Dee free through Goodreads First Reads. This is an enjoyable, easy-flowing read; I finished it in a day. It was fun to see how this husband/wife team worked out a reasonable, believable plot.
What fun! Intrigue, suspense and romance played out by well developed characters. Can't wait to read the next book in the series, and hoping to see some of my favorites.
