Wow! Amazing graphic novel, I'm glad I have a physical book. I really enjoy this story based on WW2. It was like a move script! You guys have made a lot of effort by doing this. It was fun and too much blood just as I wanted to be. There were some dialogs in German which I had to use the translator sometimes but I definitely recommend for those who like action.

Lots of effort went into this. It was one of my earliest Kickstarter campaigns that I backed, and it actually took a couple years to come to fruition (which makes sense for a book over 215 pages). We all waited patiently, as they updated us on all the stages of production moving through the hands of a whole team, carefully combing over the details. Ultimately, it came in the mail and we could finally read this book.

In some ways, it progresses like an action movie that seems familiar, but with new elements and fresh angles on an old war. They even add a little humanity to an historically indisputable evil.

Really good art quality (that sometimes shines a little brighter—and sometimes a little middling, but every character is easily recognizable, and it's a huge cast to keep track of in the first place, so that's no small thing.)

I recommend this book to fans of WWII history, period pieces, etc. Very cool book. But glad I got the Kickstarter price.

This is an amazingly well-done graphic novel that I funded as a kickstarter a few years back. It's basically a re-tooled movie script adapted into a comic book, but after reading it I think that the comic book format probably worked better that a film version. Set at the end of WW2, it's the story of Jo Baker, a widowed housewife who finds herself at odds not only with societal expectations, but a cargo plane filled with escaping Nazis. From there, it really gets good. The whole thing is a lot of fun. It's not for the squeamish or faint-of-heart, but there's a lot of adventure and some sly social commentary. There are also some hilarious bits of comedy along with the expected mayhem, which helps to move thing along. The art is strong, as is the storytelling.

Well worth seeking out. If you enjoy this, be sure to check out the author's film, THEY'RE WATCHING, which is another genre-bending good time.
