A Quinn Flitcroft Mystery #2
A Case of Pier Pressure
Toby Haddock and his investigative partner, Quinn Flitcroft, had recently played a pivotal role in bringing a vicious murderer to justice.
But if Toby thought life in his new home on the Isle of Man was going to be a sedate, quiet affair from now on, he was in for a serious wake-up call.
When Rupert Beauregard, a wealthy, hotshot property mogul, finds his plans for an exclusive seaside development in Port Erin fiercely opposed by the locals, he flies to the island determined to calm their nerves and prevent an uprising that could cost him millions.
However, if Rupert thinks he can steady the ship with a bit of charm and a handful of glossy brochures, he has seriously underestimated just how far some folk are willing to go to scupper his grand ideas.
Before long, the newly formed Flitcroft & Haddock Detective Agency is called into action to keep matters from spiralling dangerously out of control.
And once again, the clock is ticking in A Case of Pier Pressure...
