The cover is beautiful and fits in well with the rest of them. They are always great and attract my attention because who doesn’t love dragons :)
This is the fourth part in this serial, and it now means it is complete. So if this is what was stopping you from reading it, you now have no excuse for not reading it :) Jessie Donovan really is the queen of serials. She has figured out how to write them, so you are hooked and always coming back for more. She also does it in a way where you feel like you are getting a story even when it is only part of it, and that is why she is the master :) I love reading her work and always buy them to add them to my collection, and this one is definitely going to be added to my collection too!
Kai and Jane are great together. There is plenty of action and steamy scenes. This means it is for adults only. I don’t want to give anything away, so all I will tell you is that I was pulled right in and didn’t want it end. I can’t wait to see what Jessie comes up with next :)
I highly recommend her whole series to dragon shifter lovers especially if you are already a fan of Jessie’s work.

Wow! What a conclusion. Donovan picks up the pace of this already fast paced serial to take us on a wild ride. Action and suspense vie with igniting heat to create a story that I couldn’t put down, even for a second.
I love the insights we get into Kai and Jane as individuals throughout. Kai’s past becomes even more prevalent while Jane’s fears come out into the open. It was a unique & captivating mix. The banter and faux competition between the two meant that there was never a dull moment. I enjoyed seeing how openly admitting their love created such a bond between these two. I am still wondering what this new development means for Kai & Jane. What exactly are they to one another if not true mates? I also enjoyed meeting this new clan and Kai’s family, even if only for a moment. I really do hope to see more of them in the future.
Once again, Donovan has created a steamy, seamless story that kept me on my toes throughout. This instalment was the perfect conclusion to an already fantastic serial. I can’t wait to see what happens in Stonefire next!

Well, sadly I really didn't care for this book. Parts 1,2,3, & now 4 were all pretty boring to me. I wasn't attached to the any of the characters. I felt myself wanting to skip ahead in the story just to get it over sooner.
I don't know why I really didn't like this book. I remember enjoying the earlier books in this series. I am wondering if this is how the rest of the books are going to make me feel now... Sad cause I already purchased a lot of them on kindle.

This is the last book of the series and I can say job well done Jessie Donovan and as I have said before Jessie has a golden pen she is brilliant and has a awesome imagination. She uses magic words to weaves a story to entertain us with. The storyline is funny, suspenseful and interesting. Her characters and their dragons are fascinating, lovable, enthralling and hilarious.
The starts where it ended Kai and Jane's relationship has become lovable. But Jane feels before she can decide to stay with Kai become His's mate and stay with Stonfire clan, she must clear things up with Kai and his fated mate Maggie Jones and coming up with a plan to rid of the dragons of the dragon hunters. Kai feels frustrated as is his dragons because Jane hasn't committed to mating him and he isn't sure why. But after he makes love to her he finds out her fears and he eases her fears about fated mates. But she is his mate now and they belong together and He will never let her leave!
I love Kai interaction with his dragon which is very entertaining to read. Their dialogue is hilarious and makes Kai seem more approachable.
Their conversations is one of my favorite things it makes me smile and laugh out loud. The chemistry between Kai and Jane makes sparks fly, the scenes are scorching HOT. I highly recommend this series.

I absolutely loved Kai's story, but most of all I loved his dragon and the way he sided with Jane. He thought more about her feelings than of his own.
Kai falls hard for Jane, but he is so afraid she won't want to stay at Stonefire, he has to convince her somehow because he wants this human who can take all that he dishes out She's his last chance at happiness and to top it all off, his bloody dragon is on her side!
Jane is so afraid to take a chance on the dragonman, what if his past comes back to haunt her. Will she be able to handle that?
I really enjoy reading about Ms. Donovan's dragons, I so want to keep reading about them, these are the one serials I can handle and so will you.

Yep the end but not ever forgotten. I sware Kai Sutherland and his Dragon's conversations are the best of any of the Dragon Series, there communication with each other are intense at times and often all I do is laugh at the two. Part Three: Kai is now recovering from his injury under the watchful eye and care of his new houseguest. Yep, you guessed it - Jane Hartley. And Kai's very randy, rambunctious dragon seems to have developed a one track mind and Jane Hartley is the only car on the track! Oh my! After Kai opens up to Jane about his past and the events that followed his true mate's rejection, Jane is more determined than ever to have a relationship with the handsome dragonman. She wants him and has made up her mind to give him a chance and once Jane Hartley makes a decision, she gives up all doubt and embraces her choice and she's definitely ready to be embraced by Kai Sutherland. And it seems that Kai as well as his dragon desire their lovely houseguest. They both want her - now! Unfortunately for Jane and Kai, there are other pressing issues at hand. Namely, Jane's brother, Rafe Hartley of the UK special forces who has just arrived to lend a helping hand to Stonefire, albeit begrudgingly. And he doesn't like the fact that his sister is now living with a dragon-shifter. Oh my goodness! Nope, not one little bit! But maybe Stonefire Protector Nikola Gray can change his mind or just give Rafe a much needed attitude adjustment like a swift kick in the pants. Oh no! Oh yes! Nikki and her young dragon are both very much attracted to Rafe Hartley and have been ever since she saw him while serving in the military. He's the only man, human or dragon, to whom she's ever been attracted. And in the words of Nikki's dragon, "Young dragons need sex and kisses. Find me some!" I love Nikki's dragon! But Nikki has to be careful. She's tired of only being known as the first born from a human sacrifice. She wants to earn the respect of her clan and helping Kai take down the dragon hunters would be a great way to start. Besides, humans are too complicated and fragile, something she certainly doesn't have time for right now not to mention the fact that it's not allowed. What? It's been four years since she's seen Rafe and her dragon is still driving her crazy about him. Female dragon shifters can rarely recognize their true mates until they kiss the male and her dragon is determined for Nikki to manipulate Rafe into kissing her! Oh my goodness! According to their laws, it's Nikki's duty to mate with another dragon in order to produce a dragon-shifter child. Rafe and Nikki can never be together, could they? Not with his attitude! It looks like love is in the air at Stonefire! It's a war of wills at Stonefire and I can hardly wait to see who wins.
Part Four: Kai has finally recovered from his injuries and has been cleared for duty by Dr Sid. She has also cleared him for certain other activities as well. Umm.... I'm sure you get the picture as to what the "other activities" are. It seems both Kai and his dragon are totally enthralled with the beautiful Jane and are determined to have her in their home, their heart and in their bed. Oh my! And Jane definitely wants not only Kai but she also wants his dragon on board as well. The risk of seeing Maggie and succumbing to the pull of his true mate worries Jane. It would break her heart if she gives up everything for Kai only to be left holding an empty bag and broken heart. As their physical relationship explodes into one of fiery passion, their understanding and trust between them also grows into something much more substantial and lasting than just heated attraction and lust. After both reveal their past shortcomings, heartaches and hurdles, they each realize how deeply they each feel for their family, their clan and each other. And yes, it is definitely now Jane's clan as well. But will it be enough to cement their future together? In the meantime, there are more serious matters to consider - like surviving their enemies. And as always, Jane has a plan for luring the Dragon Knights into revealing themselves and hopefully being captured by the DDA. Oh yes, when does Jane not have a plan? But will it be good enough that Bram will give the go ahead and will they be able to stop the Dragon Knights for good? Will Jane be willing to trust Kai and his dragon and take a chance on a future at Stonefire? Can Kai's dragon find happiness with Jane? Will Jane give up her career and come to live permanently at Stonefire with Kai? Will the DDA ever allow it? Will Kai be able to protect Jane and his clan from the dragon hunters and the Dragon Knights? Does Rafe remember Nikki and is he even attracted to the beautiful, courageous Stonefire Protector? Will Rafe be able to help Stonefire and protect his sister from harm? Hmmm...I wonder??? No spoilers from me but I will say this....Beautiful determined reporter-check! In the final instalment, we read about Kai and Jane's heated relationship coming to an explosive conclusion. But before Jane can decide to new beginnings, becoming Kai's mate and staying on Stonfire land, there are a few things to sort out. Like coming up with a plan to rid of the dragons of the dragon hunters and her insecurities about ex-true mates.
Kai's frustration is at a high, as is his dragons. His mate is holding back from mating him and his not sure why. But he soon finds out, and together they start to put the pieces of their lives together. No matter what, they belong together and NOTHING will change that!
I loved the final part, it was a awesome ending to this magical book. I absolutely loved the characters, Jane is a strong person, who liked to put Kai in his place, which was very entertaining to read. You get to see a more vulnerable side to Jane which makes her more relatable. We also see a softer, sweeter side to Kai, but also the sulky alpha male side, which I loved. The conversations between Kai and his dragon is one of my absolute favourite things in the book. Kai and Jane had such a intense chemistry, you could practically feel it through the words in the book. I loved this book, my only little niggle is that I would have liked a verbal confrontation, between either Jane and Maggie, or Kai and Maggie or all three. Just something with a bit more finality and closure. Otherwise, another awesome read!

I enjoy each of the dragon stories for their fun and sexy take on dragon shifters. These dragons have very distinct personalities and it is up to their human side to control them. They love with everything they have and are extremely loving and protective towards their mates. I am eager for the next story to begin as there are so many great characters that need their HEA too.
Kai and Jane have fought the hunters while falling in love. Now, it is time for them to get their happily ever after.
Jane is still a little resistant to planning a future with Kai due to her fear that he is not over his feelings for his mate.
Kai is getting healthier and he and his dragon are committed to making Jane stay.
They continue to fight together against their enemies and fall deeper into love.
This was a shorter series than the others. This is the first one where they were not true mates and had to deal with that issue in making their relationship work. Jane reveals more about her past and it explains her commitment to the dragons and making the story matter. Kai continues to heal from his past and open up more which makes him more attraction.

Kai and Jane have to determine if she will stay. If his dragon has anything to say (and he always has something to say) she'll be staying. While Kai is leaning to loosen up and have fun again, it irks him that his darn dragon stands up for Jane.
It is fun to see how Kai loosens up and how shocked he is that a human—his human stands up to him. But he does like it. Kai wants to pursuade her to stay and the advice from his dragon is not always on spot—he wants to be ON her all the time.
For Jane it is more than want Kai, because there is no question there, but questions involve Jane's place in his future and so many things play into that decision besides their own. I loved the feisty way they both kept the other one on his or her toes, yet the concern for the safety of the spoke to the real feelings.
Politics aside, can Jane come to Kai freely knowing there is a true mate in his past and she still lives? What about the clans safety if she remains with the price on her head. Reawakening the dragon is the fourth part of Kai's story arc. It continues the story of Jane and Kai fighting to keep Stonefire safe from the dragon hunters. It has tense moments because despite how strong and cunning we know Kai is as a fighter and leader of the guard we know that he is just as vulnerable as the other dragons against some of the new weapons that the dragon hunters now use. Kai's dragon loves Jane just as much as he does and the feeling is mutual. The big question is can they be together and have a lasting relationship given his relationship history. There is a big mission in the works and of course Kai leads it so it gives this book a bit of tense action. We also get to meet some great new characters and learn a bit more about two other clans of dragons that are also struggling with hunters and we have not met yet. Of course the reader gets a good dose of sexual tension and a few intense sex scenes. It is great to still be able to see some of the other characters like Bram and Evie in this book and also we see Arabella a bit. I wonder what the next story arc will be, Nicki maybe or Sid?

This is the fourth and final installment in this story arc of Kai and Jane. This one takes place after the end of part three and Kai is still recuperating from his injury and Jane is trying to figure out if her relationship with Kai will really work out when his true mate is still out there. There is still the matter of the Dragon Knights. This one was a great story the only complaint I had was the fact that the whole thing with Maggie, Kai's true mate was never really settled. I thought that there should have been some sort of confrontation between the three of them. The way it ended left to much open for me. It was as if they were ignoring the whole true mate thing after it is suppose to be a big deal. Maybe later on we will see some more about this. Kai is one of my favorite dragons because he takes his job as head Protector seriously and his love for those around him makes him the person he is. Jane I just loved her because she wouldn't let anyone or thing stop her from stoping those who want to harm her new friends and family.

The final but not the end of these fine dragons! Kai and Jane finally connect and yes even deeper than before. Kai is a sharp cutting get straight to the point guy. He does not mince his words and always gets what he wants. Jane is a cutting edgy reporter and never stops running close to the edge of danger. When these two finally get their pride in check, WOWZA they can bring the heavens down with their passion. Jessie Donovan has done an amazing job of closing the chapter on these two lovers, or has she??? Jane and Kai have a heavy price on their shoulders. The Dragon Hunters want these two dead. Will a brush with a bullet keep these two apart?? You must read this final chapter in the story of Kai and Jane. I think the characters are fascinating and exciting. When one story ends another one begins. I little seed of the next story may tell the story of Jane’s brother and a female dragon woman. The series have been wonderful and I do not see them ever ending.

I have to admit that they are my second most loved couple (yea i am an Ara fangirl what can i say!)
Once again Jessie Donovan has outdone herself and gave us an amazing story with lots of twists and turns and the emotional turmoil that is always needed.
I have stated many times how i hate cliff hangers but i swear this is one book of series that will make you love them!
Since this is the last installment of the storie it has no cliffhanger so don't you worry about that.
If you haven't read Jessie Donovans Dragonmen and Dragonwomen then you must!!

This is the final instalment in the sorry of Kai and Jane. Kai has finally been given the all clear from the doc. Neither Kai or Jane can keep their hands off each other. Their rather new if not strong relationship also has the added strain of having to work around the visit and meeting with Janes brother and all the problems being faced with the dragon hunters.
I loved this final instalment, the whole way through the first three parts I was so concerned Kai's true mate was going to show up and throw things out for Kai and Jane. And I sort of wanted her to so that Kai and Jane would stop worrying about their attraction to each other.
The last book in this set ties up Jane and Kai's relationship nicely and also has the added bonus of the plan to stick it to the Carlise Hunters. Another awesome set by the ever amazing Jessie Donovan.

This book is sixth of the Stonefire Clan series. Kia is the clan head protector and as soon as he meets Jane when she first interviewed Mel for BBC.
Jane as always had feelings for Kia but he always comes across as hard silent brooding shifter.
Kia and his dragon has always liked Jane but Kia has already met his mate in her previous clan. Maggie is incredibly shy and didn't want to go through mate-frenzy so mated to another shifter while Kia was in human army.

Jane and Kia are taking a step further into the sexual relationship they both want. Even trying to capture and destroy the Dragon Knights could not put out the fire between the pair. Now the future was in their grasp but would Kia's dragon choose his true mate or Jane, only time would tell.
The author gave the characters very good interaction with each others. The story line was was nice and smooth.
This book is for mature paranormal book reader dues to sexual content and adult language.
Jane and Kia are taking a step further into the sexual relationship they both want. Even trying to capture and destroy the Dragon Knights could not put out the fire between the pair. Now the future was in their grasp but would Kia's dragon choose his true mate or Jane, only time would tell.
The author gave the characters very good interaction with each others. The story line was was nice and smooth.

This is final story of Jane and Kai. The relationship between Kai and Jane is heating up and the sex is really hot. They still have some rough patches to work through but the journey there is really good. Kai goes after the dragon knights and the fight is touch and go but we can't lose our main man so, he comes home to Jane afterwards. Kai and Jane decide to get married but Jane insists that she meet Kai's family first to reunite him with his family and see if Kai is truly over his true mate - after all she can't bear the thought of losing her dragon man. This is a great book, I hope there are more!

While trying to fix a few of the clans problems, Jayne and Kai have to make decisions regarding their happily ever after and the reader can’t help but become completely ensnared by this fast paced story as Jayne and Kai’s passions burn hot, desires run deep and emotional turbulence heats things up as well. These strong captivating characters have demanded attention from the very beginning as they take on the dragon hunters with lots of excitement and tension along the way.
Once again, the Dragons of Stonefire have completely bewitched me with their charm and passion while their stories capture my heart and I can’t wait to read the next one.

I Loved this book. Kai finishes up his healing while coming up with a plan working with Jane's brother and the DDA to take out the Dragon Knights. When Kai gets the go ahead from Dr. Sid, they put their plan in motion, and succeed, hopefully earning a well deserved break from them. Kai takes Jane to meet his mother and sister and Jane learns she definitely has nothing to fear from Kai's former mate Maggie. Kai and Jane deserve the happiness they are in for!

Another great installment and end of this series about Kai and Jane
Kai is almost healed and just waiting to take Jane the way he and his Dragon want. Kai and Jane are getting along well while Jane keeps him on his toes and brings out a side thought lost. But Jane has some concerns and part of that is that Kai does have a known true mate out there. But he and his dragon don’t care about his true mate that took another to mate with. And then there are the plans to capture some dragon hunters. Awesome ending to this series of books, well written and very entertaining to read.

Jane always was curious about the Dragons after her first interview as a crime story investigator that went wrong instead of helping in the case it actually caused more harm then good now she just wants it to go right. Kai and Jane have fallen for each other hard. Jane is troubled that if she fell completely for Kai his true mate might come back for him. He tells her it will not happen but even Kai is a little worried his dragon might not be over the true mate and go into the mating frenzy even it kai is over her. Funny the dragon is the only one who is sure! Lol
I loved this book it was a great ending to this part of the series

I was gifted this book as an ARC by the author for an honest review. I quite enjoy the authors writing style and her humor written in her books. If you have read her previous books you may not like the ending of this story. I actually liked it but some may not. I think the story ended with what was right for the characters. Overall it is a well written book and I love the series.

What a great way to end Kai & Jane I can't get a enough of series the female heroine are all full of spunk, sassy, and feistiness. The guys are your typical alpha males and it's freaking hilarious the relationships that they have with their dragons. Overall great series sad to see the end to this one but looking forward to reading more in the series.

The conclusion to Part 4 was fantastic. I loved, loved, loved the ending. Kai and Jane are working thru their problems. Jane knows she's not his true mate and is concerned that if she comes along he may break her heart. I was extremely happy with the ending. It has lots of suspense, spicy intimate moments and sassiness, lots of sassiness.

Fantastic Series
I have read this series from Sacrificed to the Dragon to this book now and I just loved it. The chemistry of all the characters, their fears, joys, sorrow, pain, pleasure, and you just want more. This is a fantastic series which gets better as it goes on and I rate this as a must buy?
