Casting Nets did a Parish Mission at my church recently and I was pleasantly surprised that while this book had a few personal stories that were touched on during their talks (which were very engaging and interesting), it didn't feel like there were a ton of repeats so the book still feels fresh even after going to their talk.
Definitely breaks down the steps on how to add others to your church community and inspired me to take some risks with asking others to come with me. All of their actions/suggestions/stories are very relatable and easy to use/do immediately.
4.5 rounded up. It's a little short and sometimes the personal stories can seem similar but its a fast read
Extremely well laid out and logical. A really great short book about effective evangelization. I will be coming back to this one and re-reading in a few months, but for now I am letting the ideas from it bounce around in my brain. The seven pillars are a great concept, and I am working on using a few of them in my confirmation and CCD classes right now, and I hope to expand that when I revisit this book.
