The seventh week of the apocalypse is here, and our group of survivors from Vince's camp are trying to settle in. But not everyone has welcomed them with open arms. Meanwhile, a run that goes horribly wrong forces Pickle, Vince and members from the Sandy Lane camp to go out looking for a missing member which results in abject failure and further headaches. Inside the camp, more problems arrive. Kyle Dickson has trouble settling in as he becomes the victim of bullying, which his father is unaware of, and Karen Bradley has a dark secret that she is hiding from Pickle. The residents of the Sandy Lane Camp are also unaware of a danger from the outside, not from the dead, but from three individuals led by sociopath, Theodore "The Bear"' Davidson. The residents of the Sandy Lane Camp are being watched, and an attack is only days away. Not for persons under the age of 18.
Another excellent read in a great series, full of different characters trying to survive. I cant believe ive ended up liking Vince. Some scenes left me shaking my head at the inhumanity man can show to each other, Please let Bear meet a death he deserves. What continues to impress me through reading this and other zombie authors is how they can create kind, heroic humans and then absolute deviants, such polar opposites. Wondering why i feel more sorry for Shaz than Karen? As always loving Pickle. Looking forward to No 8 already.
One of my favorite series! This author does not disappoint his readers. Now I'm waiting anxiously for the next installment in this series! Keep up the good work Shaun!
