Didn't like Brenda... at all.
Granger has known Brenda was his mate since he met her. But Brenda used to be human until evil scientists turned her into a lycan. She was dying of cancer and the change cured her, but she is still torn about all the baggage being a lycan carries. Instead of being free to choose her path in life, she is now a member of a pack and has an insta mate for life. Another choice taken away from her. So she acts quite badly through most of the book in reaction. Rather than standing back and letting her come to terms with it all in her own time, Granger is determined to woo her. It is suffocating for her.
But I loved Granger and thought Brenda needed to get 'over herself' sooner.
There's a crazed villain, and some lead up to the next story about Margot. There's some Goddess mumbo jumbo...
All in all, not a fave in the series for me. Kinda felt sorry for Granger getting saddled with such a 'glass half empty', prickly pear.

Grainger and Brenda's story

Brenda is a very strong woman, physically and mentally. She is also one stubborn female. Thankfully Grainger has the patience of a saint. And he is a man of hidden talents. There were lots of surprises in this book. Plots and subplots. Another Great Story. I loved it.

I love this series and thought Brenda and Granger's story was an excellent addition to it. I read it quickly....and then read it a second time to catch anything I might have missed the first time.
