Boo, Hiss: A Nine Lives Magic Mystery Novella
Welcome back to Winterspell in this brand-new seasonal novella from the Nine Lives Magic Mysteries!Halloween used to be my night. Then the household got a baby, and suddenly everyone’s idea of a wild evening is pizza, a movie, and lights out by nine.
And it’s not even a scary movie.
So I’m going out.
Alone. Unsupervised. Fabulous.
I was promised candy, chaos, and a night of heckling people in unfortunate costumes. Instead, I got a missing grimoire, a panicked protégé, and a town that has no idea how much trouble it’s in.
Someone has to save Halloween.
Fine. I’ll do it. But I’m billing for my time.
Set after the events of the completed Nine Lives Magic Mysteries series and told through the eyes of everyone’s favorite snarky familiar, Selene. A quick, cozy read (about 16,000 words), perfect for a single spooky evening. Her ninth life isn’t over yet. Come see what she’s been up to!

Fun to read about Selene and Checkers again. Could have done without the baby though.
Hope we get more treats like this.
Hope the cover is not AI.
I wish they had not changed the covers on the print books as I need to still buy a few of those to complete my collection. I am no longer supporting ebooks. I hope that the author makes a print copy of all the novelas in one book like once a year or something so that those who want real books can get a copy.

Selene!
Even though it was a short story it was fabulous to have Selene back! I enjoyed the Nine Lives Magic series and so miss her. This story was well written and packed a lot of the best of Selene in a short book. Thank you so much for bringing her back. I always looked forward to the next book and I look forward to whatever adventure she gets into next. This book made my day!

Cat On the town Halloween Adventure
A very good, somewhat spooky short story. A short story about a snarky cat, who with help of two old witches and a cat friend, solves a mystery and stops a mishap.
