"Stay with us, Kat," Melissa chimed in.
"Okay," I said. I kicked off my shoes, took off my coat and slid inside the sleeping bag. Sarah joined me, cuddling against me. Melissa blew out the lantern light, then found her place inside the sleeping bag. I was now between the two of them. Sarah laid her head on my shoulder, Melissa did the same.
"You know, I really did miss you," Sarah told me. "I often think about our last night together."
"She told me all about it," Melissa said from my other side. "It sounds like you two had an amazing night together."
"It was unbelievable," I told them both.

“Three in the Tree House: The Tree House, Book 2” opens with Kat having conflicted feelings after her night with her BFF Sarah; questioning what she’s always believed about being with a boy.
For several months, Sarah avoids returning Kat’s texts and hates hearing of her new girlfriend Melissa.
Sarah brings Melissa home for Thanksgiving, and up in the tree house we learn that it’s not just turkey and gravy on the menu. Kat decides she likes Melissa after all! 4*
