That fateful day: August 14. Both Shintaro and Momo have inexplicable encounters with people whose eyes give them mysterious powers--but something is different this time. Just what is the phenomenon known as the "kagerou daze," and what is its deep connection to all these incidents? Based on a scenario written by creator Jin, this latest volume in the Kagerou Daze series is exclusive to the manga adaptation!
I'm not sure if it's because I spent so much time between volumes or because this volume just didn't have much connection to past volumes. Maybe there was a time warp or something that wasn't obvious? I remember being confused two volumes ago, or at least I think I do, but then it cut to stuff about Ene and I forgot about the previous stuff? I don't know.
Why doesn't the Mekakushi-Dan know Shintaro and Momo? This is like another story line. Instead Momo meets this young girl and boy who are fans of her, and later on something huge happens to the girl, but we don't really know exactly what. Throughout the volume Momo searches for the girl because earlier on they had become friends. It seems like Kano and Kido were also looking for her, but when they found the young boy and Momo, they set on trying to find Momo again after she ran away from Kido. The reason why they were trying to find her is because they realized she possessed the "drawing" ability. Then, at the end of the volume we go back into Seto's past... involving wild talking animals and hamster chief. Huh?
