Jeff Aurora, an Italian male in his early thirties, has his life turned upside down out of the blue. All in the span of several hours his life turns from bad to worse. Jeff is fired from his long standing IT job. On top of that, Jeff does not even know that his best friend Joe is an undercover agent.

To make matters even worse, Jeff’s now former boss is trying to kill him. Can Jeff survive long enough for Joe to come to his rescue, or will Joe end up burying his friend?

About the author

My name is John Modica. Something that most people do not know about is me is that storytelling runs deep in my veins. My passion for storytelling was discovered by an unexpected source – my grandma. She was my biggest fan. After showing her the home movies I edited and transferred to DVD, my grandma encouraged me to go to film school to develop my storytelling and editing skills.

While my grandma is no longer with us, I now have a sense of pride in my work by not hiding it away. To this day, her encouragement continues to fuel my desire to improve my work. Every story I develop is a challenge. I am not afraid of a challenge. Each challenge pushes my abilities further.
