For being a slim volume, this one took me a while to get through. I think the main problem was the constant 'Mommy' and 'girlfriend' thrown around by the author. While I realize this was much more self-help than academic, I could do without the cutesy language.

Great stories about different moms in the bible ad making it relatable to today's motherhood. However, hate that th author references the Message.
