December

Rate this book
December Page, the youngest of four sisters, has always had a string of bad luck following her like a constant storm cloud over her head since the day she was born. But her life slowly begins to change when her and her family moves across the street from the Oliver brothers.

On a gloomy September night she meets Danny Oliver, the oldest brother, and is instantly in love. But there's a hitch in her happily-ever-after plan with Danny. He is twenty-four and December is fourteen. He's ten years older.

December takes what she can get from Danny and builds a not-so innocent friendship with him, attempting to seduce him along the way and throughout her adolescent years.

On her sixteenth birthday Danny gives her a promise ring, vowing that she would one day be his if she waited a little longer.

But she would wait for what seemed like forever because he disappears for four years and comes back to fulfill his promise on her twenty-second birthday.

The problem is that December is done with feeling foolish and naive when it comes to Danny. He is not her sole love interest anymore. In the four years of Danny's absence, December has built a solid relationship with Josh, Danny's ex-brother in-law. Josh is relentless in his pursue of December. She finally gives in and explores and expands their friendship, turning it into something entirely different.

Danny demands answers from her, which isn't quite fair. She doesn't know Danny as well as she would like. December knew only the bits and pieces Danny would share and give her in short conversations about himself, which he never liked or did more of.

In reality, she doesn't know the man that shows up on her porch and Danny definitely doesn't know the the new and feisty adult December.

Can Danny truly win her heart when Josh has already captured it?

A strong and carefree woman re-meets a mysterious military man and the feelings run deep and are explosive, because she does wait for him after all.

Meet December and Danny.

This is their story.

I have always envisioned how people lived their lives and who they were at the central of themselves. Who were these people behind the curtain of polite smiles and a friendly greetings. What did these people like? How would they behave in difficult circumstances and situations? Ever since I've asked myself those questions, I've been writing complex characters to answer them. I'm just a vessel attempting to tell the world the magnificent stories that are all cramped in my head.

I plan to be the most diverse author out. Whether it's genres, race, or religion. I want to write about a variety of things and characters. The imagination of my mind is limitless.

I write very edgy, raw , and gritty material. If you're open-minded and enjoy twists and mystery with a forbidding sense of being doomed, then you'll like my writing. I am not a fan of predictability and if you're with me, then you would be very interested in my novels.

I was born in the '90s and raised in North Carolina. I'm fond of animals, reading, writing, laughter, and the idea of love and acceptance that comes in all forms.

Read on, my friends.

My favorite quotes so far...

Danny & December
“You’re right, December. I don’t deserve you. I’m not arrogant enough to pretend I do. But it’s not going to keep me from having you, claiming you. You’re mine.”
“I’m not anyone’s, Danny. I’m my own woman.”
He grins a little and all I can think about is kissing that mole on his chin. “You are your own woman. You’re going to be my woman too.”

Danny & December
“December,” he says softly, kissing the top of my head. He gives me squeeze. “Whether you realize this or not, you’ll always be my December. You don’t think I know you have holes in your heart the size of moon craters? All I want to do is fill you up with so much life that you’ll never feel them again. But you fight me every step of the way. You make loving you so fucking hard. I’m going to say this, so maybe it’ll soak in. Listen closely, December. There’s something you should know. I don’t care how difficult you make it. I’m not going to give up. Ever.”

December & Josh
Today I have met Josh.
Josh is cold air.
I am warm air.
And together we will collide.
Together we will create thunderclouds.

December & Josh
“The sad boy loves a sad girl, who ate her own heart because she’s too terrified to give it away to anyone.”
He gives me a mournful smile. “The sad boy gouges his heart out and offers it to his beloved sad girl so she wouldn't be the only one with a hole in her chest.”

Fantastic Read !

I am going to say that you are going to love this author. Stopped what I was reading when I saw this was out. This story was so much. It had everything. It had your forbidden and heartache. It made you love the Oliver and Page family's. Then there are the times you just wanted to shank December and Danny. Then put Josh in his own box just for yourself.

Then.
The.
Ending.

What!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful work highly recommend to read it.

December and Danny

First off, if you're phobic about errors, this book will drive you nuts. 2nd. This is a romance, and in some ways, it's pretty dark. This is about a love affair between the youngest of the four Page girls and the oldest of the four Oliver brothers. There are sexual situations and bad language. And, though the story an HEA, it leaves a bit of a cliff hanger, to lead into later books. The next book is January, so looks like there may be at least four books in this series. By the way, their unimaginative Mother named the sisters for the month they were born in.
