Eleven year old C.K. has a secret. An epic secret with a furry white coat, long tail, four scratchy feet...and a sickening desire to drain enough life-forces to become a Pharaoh, a mouse-god, and seek his revenge on the two-legged world. Mummy Mouse is a dark tale of friendship, revenge, and bad parenting. C.K. is the only one who can stop Mummy Mouse...but that would break his heart.

Mummy Mouse by Tevin Hansen is a dark comedy about a blind boy named C.K. and his secret pet mouse. This story is aimed at primary school children but I still found it entertaining. I won this book through Goodreads Giveaways.
I was awarded this book through a giveaway on goodreads. I was excited when it came in due to its size. I'm always looking for something to add to our library and feel my reluctant readers would be drawn to it because it's so short-I work in a middle school library. The story is very simple and the reading level seems on the higher side. The content is quite dark and some lines from the supporting character-a little cheesy-I still finished it in one sitting. I had to read it and see how it would turn out! Overall I really think my kids will like it but think it a bit dark for elementary if that's the intended audience.
I received this book and found myself reading it all in one sitting. The length lends itself nicely to a nice read. The book was a little darker then expected, but with definite humor and pulls you in faster then you would expect. Now that I have finished I will share it with my sons who are more of the intended reading audience. If you like a little darker humor this book is a great quick read.
I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway. This is an odd little book. A little dark for the reading age group it is aimed at... I would not share this with youngsters, but maybe a teenage girl who happens to like mice would find it engaging on some level. Not the fun caper I was hoping for...
i won a copy of this book in the good reads giveaway
its a very short story easily read in one sitting, the story is basically about a little blind boy who's best friend is a dead (well mummified) evil mouse, while this book is a children book, it has a slightly dark story,
