This second book in the series is as good as the first!
We met Rory and Becky in book 1 as side characters. Rory was just experiencing his first bear shootings and he wasn't handling it well, so Bear, the head of the clan sort of took him in to help him. Becky is Georgette's (Bear's mate) best friend. When Becky meets Rory she sort of falls in lust because he's hot but he's grumpy and rude. Inside, his bear is attracted to Becky. He just doesn't think she would accept him being a shifter and not as educated as Becky. This book is their story. The ups and downs of them getting together or not. Becky getting into trouble with wolf shifters and Rory sensing it - so we know there's a connection. But will he do anything about it? Great 2nd book in this series!

This is a very enjoyable book with bear shifters, good guys, wolf shifters, bad guys, and a human mate in the middle.
The characters blossom during the course of this book with Rory becoming less of an axxxhole.
After reading this book I immediately checked for any further books by Iris Balfour and managed to snaffle Furever Mine. If it is as good as this one, which is the second in the series, then both will be staying on my Kindle.

A great shifter romance with a touch of suspense and action. Rory is trying to control his bear, and the last thing he needs is a mate, but when he meets Becky his bear sits up and takes notice, and the man does too. With danger in the air, can he save her in time, and will she be able to accept his inner bear? I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Good Read
Good read and I liked that the hero battled with the knowledge that he was now a bear shifter. Just wonder if there will be another book regarding the sister having the host for Terrance

Good Story
I liked this story! Rory is your quintessential troubled, moody, handsome hunk who meets his match in Becky. Keeping her safe made for a real page turning read.
