Blushing Apples

Rate this book
Elana really can't help herself when she steals the first bite and it's all downhill from there. After seeing the fruit every day, she thought one would be enough, but to her flustered surprise it's not. All she can think about is the succulent apple in her hand and the taste across her lips. She hungers for more, and is willing to do anything for another taste.

Warning: This book contains situations involving feeding and threesomes. This book is fully adult and contains graphic descriptions of sex. Please be aware of this when you purchase and enjoy a slice of devious pie without feeling guilty

This is a very, very short e-book at sixteen pages, so it's nearly impossible to rate it any higher than 3 stars. It's the first in a pie flavoured erotica series which seems to promise eroticism with a fantasy aspect. It's an interesting short read if you like bisexual reading with an emphasis on lesbian erotica. I will say that I was left with some questions - why a particular (type of) apple? Who is the woman (and the man), and what is her ability? Or reasoning? Having questions is not a bad thing as long as more is revealed as I read - and I suspect more will be revealed, within an erotica context, in future books.

This is a short little erotic story. The writing is solid, and there were no painful euphemisms, but I feel like it didn't live up to its potential. The idea is that there are these magic(?) apples that give you pleasure. Awesome. Only the big climactic sex scene pretty much had nothing to do with the apples. It was just your standard threesome. (Also, why is this listed as LGBT when it's basically a straight couple banging a girl they found? *pet peeve*) The apples are never explained, neither is the woman in the shed - who isn't a common worker, and who tastes like the apples/has the same effect on the girl. Maybe she owns the orchard? We never find out.

Honestly, the whole story, I wanted the girl to use the apples directly in the sex. But all she ever did was eat them. Like, why not take the magic sex apple thing further and use the apple juices as lube or slice off a piece to act as a toy. Haha. Like come on. You could have taken this to really interesting places, instead of just devolving into the same boring vanilla threesome anyone else could write, sans apples.

(NOTE: I do NOT read much erotica. At all. Like ever. I was basically just intrigued by the sexy apple premise and felt kinda let down that the premise didn't deliver much.)

This has to be one of the most unique stories I’ve read in a long time, and I’ve read many weird and wonderful stories in the erotic genre. I initially picked this up thinking it was same sex (FF) action, and while it does have a heavy focus on lesbian sex a man joins the mix towards the end. So the story is in fact FFM ménage which is pointed out to some degree in the blurb.

Back to the plot. The main character becomes extremely aroused over the taste of an apple, something that involved a fair bit of suspension of belief, at least for me. As much as I find some foods almost orgasmic in flavor, I personally couldn’t imagine wanting to masturbate over what I’m eating, but I’m sure stranger things have happened. From that point she goes on a quest to find another apple that has the same effect. My belly revolted along with hers, churning after biting into so many pieces of fruit only to be disappointed.

Further into the story, she discovers a woman had watched her pleasuring herself while eating the stolen fruit, and the same woman takes her to hand. I’d normally get hot and bothered over a good spanking scene, but once again this one pushed my limits of belief. Then when the ladies got hot and bothered, a man slipped into the mix, figuratively and literally! Neither person is fully revealed. The heroine never sees the man’s face, and then the story ends. I guess it will come to light who these two people are in future installments, but I am not a fan of half told stories; stories that are drip feed to readers, so I’m unlikely to pick up the sequel.

On the positive, the author has a great writing voice, the story flowed well and was easy to follow.

Contains: FF and FFM

This book was really unexpected.
I went kind of blind to read it, with neither possitive nor negative expectations. It is a short read but I have to say that the unique way to sart made me want to know what was going on with the apples.
And talking about apples, I am never going to look at apples the same way again, EVER! How can such a mundane task as eating an apple become an erotical act.

The most relevant part of Blushing Apples is the exquisit4e writing style and narrative, because in just a few pages, the author has managed to create a deep story that catches the reader´s attention.

A nice short erotic story with an apple fetish!

This is only 22 pages but for me even that few pages were too many. The first stolen apple and Elana's sexual eating of it took 6 pages to describe. I know it was meant to be sensual and arousing but it did nothing for me. I'm sure other people will enjoy the book but it wasn't for me and I am afraid it became one of those rare DNF books.
