There are two women in all of these books. One is the main character who is a survivor of torture and abuse and the other is a dead woman who didn't survive torture and abuse. The men have a bit more range, but they're all protective and murdery. The entire premise is ...contradictory. I eventually couldn't work past the cognitive dissonance of a super protection be hero who is crazy worried he's going to kill his soul mate and everybody else because fate, or a sensitive survivor who trusts a murdery guy, despite his "fate" of murdering her and/or everything she loves.
I read two and a half of these books before I couldn't do it anymore. In part because, despite close quarters and a brotherhood of warriors, the other women disappeared entirely. Then the big bad started just piling dead women he'd raped to death in the corner of the room, and I called it quits. I tried, y'all.

Happy I got the box set !!
I enjoyed this box set, because I read one after the other, and not have to wait 😄
These books are about the immortal Calydons, men who fight to keep innocents safe .They have their rules and regulations, that make sense only to themselves. But have dedicated themselves to honor and protect. No matter the cost . One of those crazy rules is that once an order member finds their soul mate , their Sheva, then the rest of the members must kill her because she will be the downfall of that particular member.
Weird , I know .
But as these books continue, and we meet the possible couples, we see how serious the order takes this rule.
Grace and Quinn, Lilly and Gideon, and Ana and Elijah, they all have major mountains to climb as the get tested over and over.
I Totally enjoyed the first two books. The book with Ana and Elijah, to me, seemed to drag on and on. If t was hard for me to finish, because it was the same refrain over and over ad nausm. But I am Not a quitter, so I suffered through. The ending was something I cheered for !!
Still not sure that I want to continue this story with the other books, but they DO look promising. So I might .
All in all the story was a very good read, and I enjoyed all of the action, and lore, and how the story swayed and moved and I am happy that I picked this up !!

Box set Love
First four books of this addicting supernatural world. America revamped mostly Oregon where we have Calydon warriors which is explained in book one and their special abilities. Reading book one does paint the background to get through the remaining books as we learn and fall in love with each warrior. So yes please read in order as the story flows smoothly. As the dreaded moment where our warriors are destined to meet their soul mates (called sheva's) only predestined bad things will happen- however our couples find a way to divert destiny and alter their morbid fate. Great remarkable read that will stay with you for a long time as its uniqueness entices for more of this world and our characters. Plus it was a reread and it is just as wonderful the second time. And having this as a box set was brilliant. I hope the remains become a box set for uninterrupted reading.

An absolute must read!
This book, as well as the two b4 this one in this series are absolutely amazing. Amazing characters all whom battle their own demons. Literally & figuratively. The plot as well as the stories themselves are just an absolute amaxing experience that more people need to read. Stephanie Rowe's order of the blade series is right up there with Jr ward.. So far it's an Absolutely stunning series. Great job to Stephanie Rowe for bringing these characters and each of their stories into my life. One of my favorite reads.. I've been reading for almost a decade. Trust that these are up there..

One he'll of a fight
This set of four books is a start of a grate set of stories but for me I can only what the rest will be like as the process are to much. If you like a good fight then these books are the best thing for you to read ,I just wish I could get the rest . Order of the Blade Boxed Set (Book 1-4)
This author is a powerful author! To write a book that comes alive in your hands! I loved all four of these books so it would be hard to say which one was the better. Very rarely have I found an author who put her heart and soul in her writing. This series was fantastic and I can’t wait to read more of her books!

Confused BUT L.O.V.E.D!!
I started off soooo confused - almost like I was in the middle of a story(?) but quickly caught on and loved the added details as the books continue. I always love a good “we beat the destiny of death and destruction” books and this series (thus far) has been PERFECT for it. I can’t wait to read more and continue to put together pieces of this universe.
