Sarah Woods Mysteries Book 17: The Secrets We Keep (17 chapters) — Jennifer L. Jennings Sept. 28, 2018
Read as a part of the Sarah Woods Mysteries (Volume 6)
A criminal related to Sarah asks for her help and changes Sarah’s life forever.
This is actually one of my favorite stories in the series so far.
Sarah and Carter take on a case that involves a previously unknown relative of Sarah’s. This relative is serving time in prison for a crime they insist they didn’t commit involving their partner.
The plot is full of twisty turns and has a great climax.
I liked the characters and the plot There was sufficient action to keep the pages turning The twist at the end was unexpected Like that the ending left the door open for a followup Will definitely read more by tins autbir
Ms. Jennings does a great job with mysteries and this one is no exception. Sarah is going to find out some things that happened in her family and she helps someone who is convicted of murder. There really isn't any romance but the story is good.
Have read all of Sarah woods books, they all have been very good, they are short and right to the point, have the next one pre-ordered already, keep them coming.
As unusual, Jennings knows how to make sure you have no idea where you are going! She knows her characters and she knows how to manipulate her readers.
