Val Tenterhosen returns with another disgusting collection of dark stories and broken pieces of language. With less of a focus on short bursts of thoughts, and more focus on fractured narrative, Val's second book continues to push the boundaries of English, of taste, and of rationality. All are invited, few are expected.

well its got energy thats for sure...the thing's madcap coherence bursts like fireworks...both loud and colorful. If story telling is a snapshot of the storyteller this one enjoys a truly strange collection of thoughts. Juvenile diversions into bodily fluids aside, the building of weird disjointed narratives reminded me of some poor man's Transgressive fiction hero. Some antagonistically impotent rager. The shifting POV's are manhandled yes...but the thing goes on and on and that alone reveals multiple levels of bravery. Proof readers go hang! This thing has a stuttered flow but if taken in small randomly selected sections--the language takes on the rich quality of bathroom wall poetry. This is an achievement. A strange delinquent's reformatory howl into the void.

Avant Garde? Or Enfant Terrible? Not for church mice, zoo penguins, or the faint of heart. Truly for adventurers only.
