In Keeping Her we fell in love with a scarred, tattooed x-Navy SEAL wolf shifter from an unconventional pack, and his sassy full figured mate. Now, my Christmas gift to you is a glimpse into the life they have made together. In times of trouble and times of Joy, find out if happily ever after looks as good from the other side. It begins with a phone call about her father and a cancer she was never told he had. Demon is going to come to the realization that in the eyes of normal human society he has very little claim on Clytie...and you can imagine how well he takes that.
If he can convince Clytie to marry him after the worst proposal ever, he still has to survive the wedding planning, a whole host of visiting pack, life changing news... and Aunt Essie.
Demon and Clytie started the Keeping Her series in book one. How does a rough, seven foot tall, hard as nails alpha wolf propose to the love of his life? Can't wait to find out.
While all the other books in the Keeping Her Series can be read stand alone, this novella is not for obvious reasons. To fully appreciate the characters and back story I recommend reading at least Keeping Her, if not the entire series.
Kelly Lucille is the author of paranormal and fantasy romance. She has a B.A. Degree in Creative Writing and Literature from Naropa University. Her first book "Keeping Her" published in July of 2013.
On a more personal note- I read my first romance novel: "Shanna" by Kathleen E. Woodiwiss when I was 13 years old. I still read it every year or so just to remember how amazing a really good romance novel can make you feel.

I know I sound like a broken record but I absolutely LOVE this series and this book is just icing on the cake. Demon and Clytie are the top of my all-time favorite PNR couple list. They are everything I love in both a hero and a heroine. Demon is that bossy, possessive alpha I adore but he also LOVES his woman. There is absolutely no doubt in your mind how he feels. And Clytie is a wonderful heroine. She doesn't get on my nerves or do stupid stuff. As a matter of fact, I have loved all the heroines in these books so far. There are so many characters I can't wait to see get books and I wish Ms. Lucille would write faster!!

I LOVE THIS BOOK! Demon and Clytie are my favorite couple of all time. I absolutely love everything about them. This series is one of my go-tos. I have read it multiple times and will continue to do so if for nothing more than just to get some Demon and Clytie time.
I love, LOVE, LOVE Demon and Clytie. Keeping Her was one of my favorite books of all time. There was just something so special about their relationship, the humor, the holy hotness, everything. I am not trying to sell anyone on it being perfect. It was just perfect for me. I did not read the rest of the series for various reasons. Mostly personal preferences. Since I knew my lessened enjoyment of the other books might hurt my memories of Keeping Her, I never pursued them. In Marrying Her, I would have liked to have known more about those stories, but it did not diminish my enjoyment at all. I had at least read the summaries and I knew almost everyone from Keeping Her, so I could keep up. I would have liked to know more about Roxie, but that is still ok. That being said, you must read Keeping Her before reading Marrying Her.
Ok ----
Forgive me because I am about to gush.
I have been waiting anxiously for this book since I heard Kelly decided to write it. Of course, I was concerned that it would diminish my love for the couple. Goodness knows other follow up books have done that. Here? Nope, not at all! I might actually love Demon even more, which I did not think was possible. His screw ups are hilarious and his make ups are endearing. His proposal (the second one) was beautiful (and HOT). His vows made me cry even though he used the f bomb at least 3 or 4 times! Her Christmas gift to him and his reaction - I cried again.
I laughed, cried and ended with a smile. What could be better? Absolutely nothing!
4.5stars! oh I love this!!! Those vows her ,wedding gift had me crying. I love Demon but I love Clytie even more:) That ending will not do for me!I want more!!I also liked Crow. I wanted to see his reaction about his Christmas presents lol. I would love to read about him:) love the whole gang:) very enjoyable read! safety gang safe!
I love any excuse to visit the quirky but cool characters in Kelly Lucille's Keeping Her series so a book about Clytie and Demon's wedding had me smiling before I even opened the book. Demon and weddings just don't seem like a good fit, so I just knew there was going to be some ridiculousness happening. Definitely sweet, sometimes heartbreaking since Clytie's family is the definition of crappy, I loved this addition to the series.
Demon screws up big time when he decided Clytie needs to marry him, not because he has any desire to get married, but because he wants to claim her in the human world too. To say he flubbed things... yeah, epic failure. His actions could have ended in a justifiable homicide so it's good he mated a veritable saint.
Clytie chooses a Christmas Eve wedding date making Demon go through two months of wedding planning. Not much time in the human world, but evidently two months means eons of torture for a shifter.
In Marrying Her, we get the whole gang involved, even Essie which means lots and lots of craziness and laughs. I loved this little book of Christmas happiness and can't wait for the next book in the series.
To whom it may concern. ...I need more Clytie and Demon. Heck who am I kidding I want more of them all. There was no epilogue so I'm hoping that means we will hear more for this group. Sweet, hot and funny. Can you think of a better combo?
I loved both Clytie and Demon when they got together in book #1, Keeping Her and I still loved them in this story. When the story begins, Clytie finds out her father has cancer so she goes to see him. Unfortunately, her estranged family isn't as welcoming as one would hope and things don't go well. Demon starts realizing that maybe he needs to marry Clytie to cement his claim on her but his first effort at proposing (not that I'd call it a true proposal) doesn't go well. Obviously, Demon does get it right and convince Clytie to marry him because we get a wonderful wedding conclusion with a sweet surprise to boot.
I enjoyed this story greatly. I loved seeing Clytie and Demon cementing their HEA together. I've always loved them as a couple and I was very happy to get a glimpse into their wedding and continuing happiness. I'd recommend this story but I'd strongly suggest reading Keeping Her first. :D
Clytie and Demon get married. Definitely not a stand-a-lone. Clytie gets pulled into her disfunctional family dynamics again when her father is in the hospital. It sucks, but some good may come of it. One thing is that it sets her and Demon onto the path to marriage. It's not a smooth path, but it's an entertaining on and the ending was delicious! I really like this author and would read more by her, but I am just so tired to death of two guys mating one chick. But I look forward to her future work and hope that for stories that average 1/3 the length of a novel, that the prices will be reasonable.
Loved Demon & Clytie from Keeping Her ...so they were the perfect couple for this book :)) Demon couldn't of said it better in his own especially at the wedding!!! Can't wait to read more...on all the characters.
I often loathe Christmas and Valentine specials, but this one wasn't bad. It didn't have the great sense of humour that Keeping her had, but it also wasn't as mushy as I'd feared. Overall it was a nice revisit of to the characters of the first book in the series. I'd actually skipped this and read it after Hunting Her, and it wasn't a problem.
Not officially a romance -- we have a mated pair in the beginning and the end and the only drama in the middle is a surprise for him.
This is more fan-service. It covers a period of about 2 months in the lives of the Lionsgate Pack, but the action is concentrated at the beginning and end of that period.
This is a holiday story and a wedding story and a pregnancy announcement.
I love witty dialogue and good humor in a romance. I love great characters, domestic scenes and love and kindness in a romance. I love main characters that don't play petty games. And this series? This series has all that and more.
Totally awesome series. One of the best shifter ones out there. I think had the titles been different it would have a much different following. I'm dreading the end as I do anytime I truly love the books.
I love this series of books!! Kelly does an amazing job with all of them but this one is extra special with the celebration of these two characters…I wish we could see what will happen with Stryker & the others! Time to write some more!!!
I love Demon. He is a great character. I also love Clytie. I look forward to reading more of these people who make me just say haaaaa. And then I just laugh.
Well since picking up the first book of this series I fell in love with Demon and Clytie story which was my favorite from the other books and when reading Her series from Ms. Lucille and reading Demon and Clytie was going to get married I knew I had to get the book. image: Heck yes I want to read this book , let me tell you when reading this book made me fall more in love with this couple that how can forget them. Not going to lie when reading this story I sadly forgot some characters that when reading it they came back to me. How could I forget about little cute Roxy who loves to hang around with Demon and Demon who may look intimidating to adults but not to a six-year-old little girl. image: So besides this lovely couple that I can't ever tire of reading I hope Clytie's family get the sticks out of their butts and grow to forgive and maybe allow Demon to scare them straight would love to read that being done. *Evil Laugh* image: So would I reread this book in the future? Y Did I wish for this book to end? N Did I wish Demon to scare Clytie's parents out their snobby ways? Y Will I read the next book in the series hoping to catch up with this great couple? Y
Kelly Lucille has hit another great story out of the park!! Couldn't have asked for a more wonderful addition to Demon and Clytie's story. Kelly deliciously naughty sense of humor and heartwarming dialogues between all of her amazing characters just makes you want her series to never end. So looking forward for more additions to be aded. GREAT JOB!!
Thank you Kelly Lucille for this beautiful follow-up story to Keeping Her, which is my very favorite shifter book. I laughed and cried happy tears. I love Demon and Clytie, what great characters!
If you have read Keeping Her, please read Marrying Her. You won't be disappointed. If you haven't read Keeping Her, please do. You will love it!
I love this series!!!! This book was a great read and I laughed & cried as I read it. I fell in love with Demon,Clytie and the gang all over. Damon's 1st marriage proposal was freaking classic, but his wedding vows made up for that in spades. I love how Clytie's sister even realized what an a**hat she'd become and apologized for that. Overall a great short story with hot guys in military uniforms, what more could you ask for.
I love when the authors check in with the families of past books in the series and we get to read about the happy ever after is continuing. Good Job Kelly Lucille very Good story.
