"Either fuck me, suck me, or get the hell out of my apartment."
Disowned by his family, cut off from his pack, Raymond Fusco lives for the next conquest. And he's definitely making one tonight. There's no way he's going to close off the weekend without pumping his cum into a hot, willing asshole. Any of the anonymous guys messaging him will do. The young alpha's standards aren't exactly high - there's no point when he's only going to see them once. The new guy who just emailed him stands out, though. Not only does Diago have a gorgeous face and cock, his way with words is also intriguing. Why would he refer to Grindr as an "agency"?
A week after breaking up with his first and only boyfriend, Diago Ayling has finally heard back from the Fated Date Agency. The lovelorn omega just got his heart stomped on, and now he's ready to find the real thing: his fated mate. Even though Raymond told him to come straight to his place, Diago is picturing flowers and candlelight for their first date.
Diago is about to get a whole lot more than he bargained for. Then again - so is Raymond...
Mating Addiction is Book 5 of the Fated Date Agency series. It also stands alone as a complete 200-page gay shifter mpreg romance novel.
Guaranteed HEA ending with no cheating and no cliffhangers!
Raymond has a addiction which causes his him to hook up a lot with one night stands he meets on the computer. Then he gets a message Diago not realizing it came from his mate he thinks Diago is just another hook up.
Now it took me awhile to warm up to Raymond because at first the way he treats Diago I was not a big fan of. But once I started understanding his character more and the way his feelings grow for Diago to love and protectiveness made me love his character by the end of this book.
I liked how strong Diago's character was which was a good thing with as much as he had to put up with from Raymond. There was also a sweet caring side to him too.
Loved the way this author wrote these character and this story!
All together I Loved this book! I would recommend this book! I received this book free in exchange for an honest review from Inked Rainbow Reads.
From all the book I had read from this author, I think this one is my favorite. The beginning is a little murky, but the story premise is great and the author did an excellent job redeeming Raymond.
It has a different take on the Alpha/Omega relationship with a depth that isn't common in this type of story. Definitely, a nice book.
Abraham Steele has done it again. Very well written. While Raymond was not my favorite character in the Fated Dates series, he did redeem himself by the end. I love the concept of this series and recommend all of Abraham Steele's work. I got this free in exchange for an honest review.
Raymond has a sex addiction and is only looking for the next fix, not a relationship. Diago is now ready for a mate and the agency sent him to Raymond?!
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review
Raymond--A man with a sex addiction who only wants one night stands and no commitment of any kind Diago--A man burned by his ex, but wanting romance and a forever kind of love who looks for his fated mate A definite recipe for disaster!
Diago reaches out to Raymond because he found out that he is his fated mate. Raymond happens to receive Diago's message while trying to hook up for the night, so he just assumes Diago is another guy for the rotating door. Definite mixed messages right from the start, but no way to clear the messages up when the pheromones of a mate take over. Raymond is convinced he doesn't need a mate. Diago is convinced they should try. There was a lot of head butting...when all of a sudden there wasn't.
It was weird, but all of a sudden, Raymond was just OK with everything. He stopped looking for someone else, kept seeing Diago regularly, and eventually fell in love with him. While I LOVE that path they took, it seemed to come out of the blue all of a sudden for Raymond. I would've like to see a little more of the thought process for Raymond to see how he all of a sudden got there. To give Raymond credit, though, once he made the decision to go for it, he went all in 100%.
There was mpreg in this book and overall I liked the way it was handled...except for having to hide for 4 months so no one would find out a male was pregnant. While this makes sense (I mean, really, you don't want the human race to find out this is possible or expose the wolves), it seems rather unrealistic that Diago could just all of a sudden stop working.
The story dealt with addiction, and I liked the way it was portrayed. The story line was not brushed off and I appreciated that. The guys dealt with the challenges and grew from them.
This book can be read as a standalone. It is book 5 in the Fated Date Agency series, so if you want the full experience, I advise reading in the order intended.
Raymond Fusco and Diago Ayling meet when Diago messages Raymond to meet. Raymond thinks he is coming over for a hook up. Much to his surprise, he tells him he is his mate.
Diago trusted the Fated Date Agency to find him his mate. He is hurt that Raymond is not looking for his mate. He wants to hook up or send him away.
Raymond has been hiding from his past, his family and his addiction. Diago opens all the doors that make him have to face what he has been avoiding. Pain is growth, and with the pain he discovers that maybe he should give his mate a chance.
Diago is just wanting to convince his mate to give their future a shot. He sincerely wants better for his mate and will do whatever he asks of him. Can he be enough to help him get over the pain of his past? With what Raymond is hiding, can they still go forward?
Both men have things they would rather hide. The interesting part of the story is how they solve coming together to create a future. If there will be one. I found the story to be more real and honest than most shifter stories. It faces addiction and loss. I loved that part. I felt real character development and growth and found this to be a great read.

1.5 What the hell did I just read? MPreg, shifter romance, sure I'm familiar with the trope—fated mates, knotting, male pregnancy. I knew what I was in for in that respect. But this book was just...well, it's just a big fat nope for me. The dual first person narratives were painful and the writing style is one I don't enjoy.
Raymond and his sex addition (more like sex frenzy) was a jerk until the magic peen cured him. Or that's not quite right, he didn't get the magic penis because he'd the alpha they don't get dick. They give the dicking, cause they're The Man. So, I guess he got the magic ass. Either way he was magically cured of his sex addiction by having sex with Diago. I bet all sex addicts wish they'd known all they needed to beat that demon is the right sex and lots of it. This book is predominantly sex, but really rushed frantic sex that wasn't in the least satisfying.
I somehow only had book one and five in this series this one is better than the first and both stood alone just fine. Though I don't understand the breaking into three parts. I think they may have been initially published as serials. If I'd read these as serials instead of a compilation I'd have been furious. Also this (and the first one for that matter) is listed at 200+ pages in length. I have a hard time thinking it's really that long.
Another awesome story in the Fated Date Series. Abraham Steele has a unique way of bringing the most unlikely people together in a hot, steamy romance that will keep you wanting more, not of each individual story, but of the series. This particular book involves Raymond, a sex addict who has been disowned by his family, and Diago, a young man who has been scorned by the man he has spent the past five years with. When Diago sends a message to Raymond, who he has been told is his fated mate, everything changes in both their lives. A hot story full of passion of all sorts, this book is worth the read. If you haven't read the previous books in the series, don't despair. They are all stand alones and don't need to be read in any order, but I suggest you read them anyway, as they are all awesome. Loved this one as much as the others. I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
I got this book as an ARC for an honest review. Well in honesty, I really liked this book. You have the player who just doesn't give a crap about who he sleeps with, just as long as they don't stick around the next day, then you have Diago. The dreamer of finding his mate and living happily ever after, but when 2 different worlds collide, the fun begins. Raymond and Diago couldn't be more different. Raymond is as stubborn as they get when it comes to relationships and Diago is total opposite. But as time goes on, they both realize that they have to be together, that is until Diago's past comes knocking and turns everything upside down for both men.
If you have read Abraham's other stories and enjoyed them, You surely will enjoy this one, I know I sure did.
A famous talk show host says a man can change, will change, for the right person. This awesome story was all about that. In PART ONE I hated Raymond. I begrudged him every breath he took. Addict and asshole shouldn't be synonymous, but maybe they are. I was amazed at how Diago could look past the abusive, abrasive personality of Raymond and reach for something more, someone better. Diago could have easily become Raymond's doormat, or bedsheet, but he opted for a stronger relationship. In doing that he paved the way for Raymond to climb out of his pit of denial and for himself to have the kind of life he felt he deserved. This story flowed well. Fated mates and alpha/omega aside, their HEA was hard won and well deserved. Abraham Steele, I'm a fan!
Additions can be overcome for the right reasons In this well written book we have Raymond who is an outcast son of the Alpha and has a addiction Sex problem. And we have Diago who right off a break up of a five year relationship signs up with the Fated Date agency and gets matched with Raymond. Raymond is out of touch with anything wolf pack related and knows nothing about the agency. Diago email Raymond and set a time to meet but Raymond thinks it’s just another Hook-up. Lots of stuff happens that makes this a very entertaining story to read.
This has a bit of a dark edge to it. Raymond is deep in his addiction and in complete denial. He's lost so much in his life but his addiction makes him blind to the loss and the pain. Sort of. Diago is all sweetness and light. He sees the good in everything and he's unwilling to give up on Ray. The road is bumpy and there are pitfalls but they keep working together. I loved watching Ray grow and mature as he battles his way to recovery. All for Diago. When he faces huge hurdles he doesn't back down. At moments he's the stronger of the two of them. Lovely ending. Adult read
Re-read 4/15/16 - Still fun! So I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. I haven't read a book about sexual addiction before and that alone made it interesting. Realistic? No, but still fun to read. Raymond was a giant douche at the beginning and Diago was the perfect little omega. Kind of. Anyways, they're fated mates so of course things are going to work out. I did expect Diago's ex to make a lot more trouble for them but he was just an asshole. Fun read, not much brain power required.
I'd previously read book one of this series and was annoyed by its cliffhanger ending, but I was willing to give this one a chance since it was a standalone full story. Not sure if it was worth the time. The sex scenes were good, not great. The story line a bit ridiculous. Really, I just wanted to slap both MCs and be done with it. The same thoughts must have been rehashed a dozen times by both men/shifters. The best part was the conniving ex, Sloan. He made the story interesting.
I love this book and all the books in the series I have read so far
I really enjoyed this book and I love this series of books. I have read Fated Dates, Illicit Mates, and this one so far. I love the relationship between Raymond and Diago. I love watching their ups and downs in their relationship just like the others in the other books. I love the twists and turns in this book too. I will recommend this book and this series everybody I know and to all my friends.
I was loving this book, I MC's were both likable and I truly enjoyed this story. This was a free download on Amazon and I was not familiar with this writer and was sure I was going to invest and buy some of his books. Until one the MC's got pregnant. Mpreg is not for me, I can't wrap my mind around it and it's just utterly ridiculous so I the book lost a star for me because of that. Mpreg seems to be this authors thing so no more additional reads for me. But still a very good story.
Diago is amazingly patient. To find out his mate is an extreme nympho had to have been pretty scary after being cheated on. I was excited how much they grew in the story. Enjoyed this story immensely. I really liked when Raymond abstained from all sex for so long.
Interesting take on gay wolf shifter romance. Actually a compelling story of the alpha Raymond overcoming his sex addiction and the omega Diago overcoming the breakup of a 5 year relationship with a nasty guy who was cheating on him. They story follows them as Raymond redeems himself and they learn to be a truly loving couple. A few interesting twists to keep the story moving.
I loved this one. It was different from the others because for once you had one that knew nothing about anything and didnt even want a mate. The other was amazing, innocent and knew he needed a mate. It was all awesome and I loved the trials they went through. I am so glad I got to review this one
Hands down, the best in the series to date. There was more attention to the story, characters, and relationship and I really liked that there were issues that they worked through together. Hopefully future books will be on this level as I enjoyed this one!
Raymond and Diago relationship started off as a very badly, with alot of miscommunication, misunderstandings. But they were able to find a way to be together, without allowing their baggage to get in the way.
One of the best books in the series. At first, I didn't like the way the MC's addiction was handled - it seemed as if the author didn't understand addictions and recovery. But by the end, Raymond has gotten some real help and committed himself to change.
This is the first of this type of book for me and I found that I really liked it. I love shifters to begin with but found the storyline appealing and I love a happy ever after ending.
Sexy. Hot. Down right dirty at times. The one character really redeemed himself and grew and changed a lot. I thought some parts where a little weird. Over all I really liked the story.
Solid 3.5 stars. I enjoyed the whole addiction aspect & to me that was the first I've seen of that & gives you a more believable story. Sex was smoking hot.
