This series is HOT. I couldn't put it down. The relationship between Libby and Jake is growing and so are her doubts. She is trying to figure out if Jake is actually a killer. Her friend Dan and the heiress are all connected and now she needs to put the pieces together. And on top of everything going on in her life her agent is harping on her about the next book deadline. She does have a great friend in Rodney. He is unique and a very good friend to Libby. Rodney and Libby have been trying to play real life detective and are putting their heads together to hunt down clues to the killer's identity. Now that she has been getting calls and notes Jake is becoming more protective and Libby is feeling claustrophobic in her apartment. She thinks she has figured out that the person playing the games with the notes and phone calls is not the killer, but is she right? Who will be the next victim? What is the next play in the game going to be???

This is part 3 of a great series. Libby is experiencing surveillance with Dan, an ex-cop turned PI. They observe a woman being pushed into a vehicle. This woman then turns up dead. Dan is going to the police with the information & is going to keep Libby out of it. Next thing she knows, Dan is also dead. She feels like someone is following her. She meets a new man, Jake and begins to fall in love. Libby begins to get notes & phone calls that appear to be from the killer. They talk about things only Jake, Libby & Rodney (her best friend) know about. Is Jake a good guy? Who is the killer? Is Libby in true danger.

Adlynn is a great writer that develops complex characters in a short time & is a master at cliff hangers. Can't wait for book 4!!

I just love the suspense in this book. Libby is a very strong woman. She witnessed a murder & is being followed. She can only find comfort in Jakes arms
