I really enjoyed this read and although there were a few errors, they didn't take away from the story. I must say G was something else and got way more than he bargained for while pursuing DJ. I liked the fact DJ wasn't too hyped about what would go on between them especially after everything the twins had told them. DJ being added to the mix of what G was into was a plus and a bit helpful. I swear I don't like Myla at all and I knew from jump that heffa would do her best to complicate things. She wasn't use to rejection and went too far with things. I have a feeling she's responsible for what happened to Jaylen. That whole situation had me looking at her crazy and questioning if she tried the same thing with Ace that resorted in the loss he's dealing with. I just don't trust her at all and I'm not even sure how to feel about McKenzie at this point. G falling for DJ was definitely a game changer and his not being focused the last go round has brought forth more hurt. I can't wait to get part 2 and I hope DJ stops playing the blame game and realizes whatever differences there were between her and G need to be repaired before it's too late.
I loved this read from beginning to end. DJ was a great girl. I felt so bad about what happened with Jaylen. I was in shock when Gavin was caught with Myla. I thought he was better than that.
Wow this book was amazing, I loved the guys and the relationship they have. But loved the quick and loving realtor that G and the ill blue hair beauty had even more. Loved how she didn't take his mess, how she made him work.
This book has a storyline that kept me turning the pages wondering what's going to happen next. Myla really pissed me off. And Mckenzie wasn't any better. They both need a serious beat down. I am rooting for Jaylen and Gavin. I hope that they can get it together. Their future depends on it. So much going on that I can't even begin to tell you. You have to read it for yourself. I promise that you won't be disappointed.
Once again, she amazes me with her story telling ability. She makes you fall in love with each character. My only complaint was the editing, but I could tell that this was one of her earlier works.
**********************Spoiler ALERT*************** This book needs alot of editing, alot. It was good but I'm on the fence. It was fast then slow then fast. And the fact that he fucked that bitch two seconds after they got into it was some straight up bullshit. I mean damn her best fucking friend just died, I tried to start the next book but I cant even put myself through it these mfs is pissing me off, I just want to skip to the third book but I won't.
I knew Ace was falling in love with her when she was in the hospital, I definitely saw that shit coming and I am not a fan of love triangles or cheating even if its fictional that shit just urks me.
I know its some snakes in the grass but I dont know who besides that twin bitch and it says that Mckenzie turns on her too. I really just want to see what happens to Mya or whatever her name is. (The jealous twin bitch) so I will have to see how I feel. I may dabble a little here and there, take it piece by piece on part two and three.
This book is definitely worth reading if I do say so myself
I love this book when Dominique best friend got shot I could of just die right there I the all the action in this book and the ending just sent me off a cliff can wait to read the next book and I don't want to give the ending up so I hope you know who lives and that little fake want to be get what she deserves anyway I would recommend this book to my friends I like it a lot and I don't normally like books with cliffhangers
I really really want to give this book 4 stars but the typos were killing me. How is it professional to have this many mistakes throughout the entire book? Seriously, the errors ALMOST ruined it for me.
The story line was a good one but not great. I've read it before , especially the predictable ending. However, I absolutely fell in the love with the characters and the authors writing style. I will be reading part two. Good easy read and I sped right through it
This was a great book. Very different. I love me some Gavin and DJ. I can't stand Myla. She is very sneaky. I really hope Gavin is ok. If Myla had something to do with Jaylen getting killed , I hope dj finds out. Can't wait for part 2.
I REALLY LIKED THIS ONE. DJ ADDED SOMETHING DIFFERENT TO THE STORYLINE, I LIKE THE FACT THAT GAVIN AND HIS CREW WEREN'T JUST KINGPINS OF THE STREET THEY WERE SHADY. THEM EVANS TWINS ARE SOMETHING ELSE I CAN'T WAIT FOR PART TWO... GREAT JOB CS I AM OFFICIALLY A FAN
Man this book touch me in some many levels. Being young u have to. Understand that you are worth more than gold, Dj knew just that. I can't wait until 10/26 for part 2!! Oh Jacksonville again lace the pages
Wow Gavin messed up / what was he thinking I just knew he really changed for love......this was so different and creative a fresh storyline with a gangsta twist yes I hope Gavin pulls it off
