Holy cannoli am I on a feels trip?!
That scene where Groot sticks up for the goodness of the universe, that panel was just... amazing. I love this series so much.

It was nice! Groot assembling a team to go rescue Rocket.. and it's NOT the Guardians. Lots of fun. The 3 skrulls were a nice add. Artwork was great. This title is good and fun to read.

Rocket: "You wanna know the difference between me and Groot?!"
Eris: "About eight feet!"
Rocket: "WOW! Perspective!"
Hehe! Loved that! I can actually relate to that when the whole world is discussing something and I mention something off topic cause my point of view is different. So is Rocket and Groot. One, hates people, doesn't like to know them or anything. While the other is kind and likes to see the best in them. That's what Groot did in this issue to save his best friend who was used as a bait. The gang reached their destination but an explosion changed everything. I'm loving Groot more and more. Also, after reading this issue, I think Rocket's drawing is fine. He's not as bad as I thought when I first started reading this comic.

Groot finally gets to Rocket but things dont go to plan. I love how Groot is happy to get to save Rocket.
Even when the things go right for Groot, he still gets them done.
Every fight that involves Groot, makes me feel like I am glad I'm not against him. Enemies dont stand to much of a chance against him.
Cant wait to see where the story goes from where it leaves off in this issue of Groot.

I am really enjoying this series. I love how cute and simple it is. Plus, you can really jump in at any time and read a comic and get a sense that you know what is going on.
In this issue Groot and his new found gang are off to rescue Rocket. But the rescue doesn't go according to plan. Poor Groot... but wait... there's still hope!

Currently my favorite book to read with my daughter. It made us laugh out loud at several parts. After #1, I almost didn't buy it again, but it has found a very good groove.
