Love the McCoys! (Review w/Some Spoilers)
Meet Merrick McCoy,discontent drag racer,who wants more out life than just racing,women and money,he wants the love of a good woman and to pursue his real passion,painting. Enter Jovi Carter, police commissioners daughter and all around good girl who has been sheltered most of he life by her overprotective father,is having a night out with best friend who wants her loosen up and meet a guy falls right into Merricks lap,literally,which is the beginning of there star crossed love affair. Not long after fate throws these two together again and sparks turn in flames. Merrick falls hard for Jovi,even after his oldest brother,the man who raised him forbids it due to the family's illegal activities they are forced to do for a sociopath called "The Devil",but Merrick will not give up his love,but when you make a deal with "The Devil" he always gets his due.
I know I say this a lot,but WOW! This book was so amazing. I love Merrick and Jovi so much! They had such a sweet romance, that was full of every emotion you can think of, and it had me though the whole book. I felt Merricks pain at losing Ben and Jovi's hurt of finding out her love was the very man her father had been trying to arrest for years,every emotion just jumped off the pages. What a great twist to the classic tale of Bad Boy meets and falls for Good Girl. I am so in love with the McCoys,they were everything,handsome,smart,dangerous and funny. Triple D, Madden and Knoxie had some of the best dialogue every and I can't wait for More from this family.

I was given the honor to read this books and im so happy i did, because the books are amazing.
Merrick is the ultimate bad boy, the car racer, and Jovi the princess that want to follow her dream and go to art school. And the they meet.
Can they overcome the obstacles they have? She's the daughter of the commissioner who wants to arrest Merrick 's family! Merrick is the bad boy who wants to fall in love, and Jovi is the girl who wants the same thing but can't because her dad is overprotective.They meet and.... you need to read to know what i'm talking about.
I can't say to much because I don't want to spoil but leave you with this.... Can love conquer all, can love overcome death. Read girls. Amazing. Can he get away of the life of crime, can he escape the drug lord for him to be able to have a beautiful life wid the girl of his dreams. The books are a masterpiece. The love between Jovi and Merrick is so big that even death can break it. How far are you able to go to save the love of your life? Merrick now what he wants and he wants Jovi. He's able to let everything he loves to be with her. I was crying in som chapters. the way you wright looks like you are talking to us. You really should read this series is amazing.

CLASSIC:
Jovi the girl gets her dad, even when he's unrealistic, “I got it Dad. Stay away from the male population.” Just like having her dad pegged she has Merrick pegged, “I have no doubt that you will. After all, you had enough balls to stalk me up to the Commissioner's front door, why wouldn't you stalk me across the country?” Merrick is so sweet when he sense his woman hesitantly he doesn't fart around he eases it, "several pushes of our tongues later he lightly pulls away to question, “Do you need me to wrap it, baby?” I'm going to like this series yes there was a cliffhanger but in all honesty I didn't find it that bad.
VINTAGE:
Merrick he knows how to show his woman how much she was missed, “so much,” he states over the sound of a belt buckle being undone. “All I wanted, all day, was to be right here.” A zipper falling echoes in my room. Merrick moves his mouth so it's hovering above mine. “Right now. With you.” Merrick he has no qualms in stating how he feels, “I know the feeling...” There's a brief pause before he says, “Two days without you and I'm craving you like an addict.” I hated the ending how could Xavier do that!?!?!?! I need the next book now
MASTERPIECE:
This book takes off where the last ended and Merrick is just not himself, he's different he's well he's going through crap, which means he looks like crap, feels like crap, and his life his crap. He has his angel though, Jo is there for her man anyway he needs her. Merrick is really losing his marbles, "unable to hold back my own anger I toss my keys on the bar . “I went for a effing drive. In my effing car. To try to clear my effing head.” There was a point in the book where I almost stopped reading to throw things across the room and yell and scream but I pushed forward and was pleased with the outcome.

I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into when I started this series but I WILL tell you I was NOT anticipating anything that was thrown at me for sure. Absolutely LOVE all of the characters that we get introduced to and reading some of the background I know I am in for one wild ride.
Forbidden love is THAT much sweeter when you catch it, but when others get wind of it it turns out even more forbidden then before. What a great 1st installment to this trilogy and I cant wait to dive in for more.

Jovi and Merrick's story is not for the faint of heart, the 2nd installment of their trilogy is action packed like you wouldn't believe, I was on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book.

Man what a series...crying, laughing and couldn't let go is all the McCoys way....
So this series, O.M.G. Was so good. Made me cry, made me laugh, made me fall and swoon and made me couldn't drop this book until I finish reading it.
Jovi was such a sweet gir, sweet person and made for Merrick. Timid, simple, down to earth she was so the opposite of Merrick and that's why it worked.
Merrick, the baby bro, was so different and so cute and so romantic, the perfect McCoy for Jovi.
This was a truly modern day Romeo and Juliette starring these two. The live was real, the scenes were real, the language was real, everything was real and perfect.... Truly a great love, romantic story.
Wondered what happened to Hayli?

The very reason I love Xavier Neal
So, I started with Xavier books a lil out of order. I started with her Havoc series and have read everything after. *spoiler alert* I totally remember Merrick from Compassion and the other stories he's appeared and didn't know his story is like the beginning of the whole Xavier shabang! So, with that being said, Merrick is like up there in book boo-dom! It was love at first sight between he and Jovi and fate step in to bring them together. Their story is a wicked wild ride and I'm so glad I know the original story.

Omg I can't even........
Move over Logan Kellar, there is a new bad boy in town!!! Merrick McCoy is going to have you swoon and fan yourself. And his brother aren't so bad either!!!! I absolutely love where this story is going. We have a bad boy family that illegally races, and then a sweet girl who's father is the commissioner for the police force!! Commissioner I said!!!!!! Yeah see how that's going to work out!!!! Jovi is a young girl trying to break free from her father, and wants to actually LIVE life, than just let it pass you by. She's ready to leave the nest and goto college, and it's her last summer home. So she wants to let lose, and start having fun. When she meets Merrick, there is an instant attraction. But can she give her heart to him. Merrick has a lot going on, but he wants nothing more than to steal Jovi's heart. Can their love become Classic???? This book will make you laugh, cry, and OMG SCREAM!!!! Xavier really knows how to give us characters that we can relate to. She can bring every emotion out of us, and leave us begging for more. ( Like I did after finishing this book )

Whoooo I love Merrick!! If you love a sexy man that lives in the fast lane, then this series is for you!! I love that Xavier gives us stories that makes us feel like we are living in them. Jovi and Merrick are going to drive you crazy in this installment. Their relationship is going to be tested, and drama is coming at them from all sides. But, I love the depth of their relationship, and how opposites attract. Ladies get ready to fall hard and fast for the McCoy boys, cause once you let them in, they will never want to leave. I hope that you love these boys as much as I do.
Get ready for a sit on the edge of your seat read, and watch out for a killer ending!!

The conclusion of Jovi and Merrick's story is phenomenal. Make sure you grab some tissues ( or just the whole box ) cause you are going to need them. Jovi and Merrick's life is about to be bombarded by the Devil himself, and to top it off Merrick has to bury his best friend. They realize the life that they have fought so hard for could be gone in a blink of an eye. There is one thing for sure..... And that's the McCoy's love hard. They protect what is theirs, and I can't wait to hear all about the rest of the men. But ladies, get ready to be devastated through out this whole book. Xavier loves to play with our emotions and keep us on the edge of our seats. And just a fair warning: your heart is going to stop beating!!!! Happy reading!!

Classic;
Merrick is a illegal streetracer while Jovi is the daughter of the overprotective police commissioner who has made it his goal to take down the racing ring.
When they meet sparks fly, they can't help but keep seeing each other. Jovi's best friend Hayli refers to Merrick as Romeo but Jovi thinks she actually means Casanova. I believe Hayli has it right. These 2 are from completely opposite worlds and being together has more consequences than either of them could have known.
This book definitely is written in Xavier Neal's style so of course there's a WHAT THE CRAP, ARE YOU FLIPPING KIDDING? cliffhanger.
Vintage;
I know how Xavier likes to leave those cliffhangers but come on did it have to be that?
Otherwise I like the story. I like that Merrick and Jovi are going to be together no matter how impossible it may seem.
Masterpiece;
So we are at the end of Jovi and Merrick”s story. It was quite a rollercoaster. Everyone is heartbroken trying to deal with a characters death when The Devil pops up wanting his car that wasn’t delivered.
I loved the writing to this. I really felt a part of the story. Jovi and Merrick have to go through threw so much to get their chance to be together, it’s really endearing the love they have for each other.
I had for the most part guessed the ending but I never dreamed of what would make it possible. Although this is the last of Jovi and Merrick’s story there are going to be spin-offs for the other characters.
Merrick is a illegal streetracer while Jovi is the daughter of the overprotective police commissioner who has made it his goal to take down the racing ring.
When they meet sparks fly, they can't help but keep seeing each other. Jovi's best friend Hayli refers to Merrick as Romeo but Jovi thinks she actually means Casanova. I believe Hayli has it right. These 2 are from completely opposite worlds and being together has more consequences than either of them could have known.
This book definitely is written in Xavier Neal's style so of course there's a WHAT THE CRAP, ARE YOU FLIPPING KIDDING? cliffhanger.

I know how Xavier likes to leave those cliffhangers but come on did it have to be that?
Otherwise I like the story. I like that Merrick and Jovi are going to be together no matter how impossible it may seem.

None Spoiler Review
Wow what a three book series, a class divide love story with a difference. The class divide is a sheltered Police Commissioners daughter and a lovable rogue on the wrong side of the Law and his family, these are full sized novels that are fully loaded with suspense, action Adrenaline fuelled scenes as well as the true love story developing between Merrick and Jovi and amazing hot sex scenes that are well written and leave you hot under the collar. There is a smooth transition between each book with no discernible break to leave you thinking what did I miss, it’s like turning a page. The friendships that grow throughout the series are remarkable, also giving you the true meaning of family and loyalty within the McCoy’s. These books also give you little snippets throughout into what has happened to put them where they are and why they do what they do they are not the bad family Jovi has always been told about. The last book in the series just doesn’t give you time to breath its fast pace and twists and turns as it comes to conclusion are just outstanding. Highly recommend this to everyone it has a bit of everything and will take you on an epic journey .

Great series.
I love everything that I've read by this author, but this has to be my favorite series of hers by far. This series follows the lives of Merrick McCoy, his brothers and the women who love them. Merrick is involved in illegal street racing and something way more dangerous, but not by choice. Loved everything about these hot and sexy men.

OH MY GOSH! I loved these books!! Xavier Neal never disappoints with her books!! She's a very talented author! These stories will have you sucked in (and squirming from the beginning! A must read!!
