Resisting the Alpha
Mason is sick of cocky alphas walking all over him, treating him like dirt just because he likes to be knotted. It's humiliating, infuriating and it stops now. Mason is done. He's swearing off alphas for good.
Then he meets Peter, an alpha cop who saves him from an aggressive suitor, and all his carefully laid plans go straight to hell...

And that was the last straw. Mason was sick and tired of going after guys who were so obviously assholes. Why the fuck was he already trying to get on the uber alpha’s knot? He knew that it would end badly. Alphas like this cop were always assholes. It was inevitable, a result of always getting their way and society telling them that they deserved it.
Mason was done.
“Am I being detained?” he asked angrily, staring up at the cop with a downright belligerent expression. The cop looked confused, looking to Jackson as though he could explain Mason’s behavior.
“No,” the cop said after a second, hooking his thumbs in his wide belt and squaring his stance. He took a breath as though he was going to say something else, but Mason wasn’t in the mood.
“Then I’m leaving. Have a nice life Jackson, or don’t. I don’t care.” Mason sidestepped Jackson and the cop, walking away without looking back...

2.5 rounded up because cute and hot. Not much happens and most of it is silly, but I enjoyed.
