I wasn't expecting much when I picked this up because I know there are a million and one "Master Public Speaking!" books out there, but this one was actually pretty informative. I didn't read the whole thing (I skimmed the whole thing though) because I've taken courses on this stuff before and I knew a lot of the information, but I did read a few tips even I hadn't heard before, so chances are, even if you're a public speaking master, you'll find a couple helpful tips in this book that you may be able to use.
The only section I really read was the one on mastering fear of public speaking. It didn't help me get over my stage fright, but it did have some medical definitions and insight into the fear. I won't be able to give a speech comfortably any time soon, but this book taught me that that's because I probably have a phobia of public speaking, not just a fear of it.
All in all, I'd give this book a shot if you're interested in the topic. It's a quick read, but each page is packed with a lot of information.
The author wa a very succint and covered the basics on public speaking. This is very useful for the novice as well as the professionals out there. I really enjoyed reading through it.
