Making one last ditch effort, Garrett decides to visit an old friend to call in a favor and finds himself in a completely different kind of trouble, this time involving his heart.

But Shakota Clearwater welcomed the opportunity to explore life off the Crow Nation reservation. She longed for more excitement in her life, and using the tracking skills she’d honed since early childhood would offer her new experiences. Of course, she wasn’t counting on intense attraction – and perhaps a connection soul deep – between her and Garrett Woodward to be one of those experiences. But Shakota has to decide where she belongs before she can give her heart away to a man she doesn’t think she can live without.

About the author

Charlene Bright is the author of several contemporary western romance novels. She's a lifelong resident of the American South and currently residents in southern Oklahoma on a family-owned cattle ranch. She greets each morning with a hot cup of coffee and an optimistic smile. Traveling to America's national parks is her favorite pastime. After rearing her two daughters, she and her husband recently became empty-nesters. With the peace and quiet that comes with that, she began to hear the characters in her head begging for their stories to be told which is when the author inside her was set free.

Beautiful story with a bit of Native American beliefs thrown in.

This was a beautiful story with lots of suspense, an intense romance, a little adventure and a bit of Native American beliefs thrown in for good measure.

Easy

It's an easy read. Sweet. Not too much sex. Profanity or violence. It leaves me feeling good and that's what I look for. This is the third I've read of Charlene Bright and not the last.
