Another great read. This one ties up a lot of things, and it was fun to read. That's the best way I can describe this series. It's the kind of fun fantasy you don't see as often these days.

I bought this series a long time ago because it was on sale and I'm nothing if not a bargain shopper. This was the last one I bought at the time and there are 4 more in the series, but I can't decide if I will invest myself further. The books are easy to read and fast, the world that Holmberg has created is interesting and fun, but the storytelling is just so excruciatingly frustrating. As others have pointed out, the books are rife with editing errors, and honestly, the storylines are just Tan complaining about how hard his life is and how he doesn't know what to do until the very end when everything just seems to fall in place. I began giving the books three stars in my reviews because I enjoyed reading them, but acknowledge that there are much better items to read in my library. These are a good read if you are wanting something fast and easy to burn through.

I can't imagine how hard it must be to create a whole world. The characters are complex as is the storyline. I recommend these books based on a fantastic world that is richly developed. Enjoy.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺🙂 fantastic, amazing , I couldn't write this myself, I can't believe how far this series has gone. Absolutely wonderful.

I love this whole series! The books are easy to read and the author is able to explain things in a way that you can easily understand.
After reading 7 books now I have developed an emotion attachment to the characters especially the elementals. I even like Fur!

Epic battle

Wow! It's awful to have to fight each and every step you have to take to get the result that is needed. Even challenged by his king, his mother and others. But tan is persistent. The loss of Asboel broke my heart! Cried like a baby! Five stars!

I started out thinking that I was not going to like this book. but the further I get into the series The more interesting it gets I think that Holmberg is going to become one of my favorite authors. The series starts out slow but continues to build into a satisfactory story.

Compared to wheel of time by jordan

This saga is as great as wheel of time, although no so long winded. The action moves quickly and you get big bangs for the the huck.

If you have been following my reviews it will be obvious that I didn't like the previous book.

Book six was missing something, but I'm glad I didn't left the series there because book 7 just was everything we needed
From the beginning to the end I was astonished by this book. It was only a little bit predictable but apart of that it was absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend it

Loved it! I have absolutely loved the Cloud Warrior Saga, the imagination of the entire series held my attention. Each book only seems to become better and yet still maintain the integrity of the Saga. It was great to just dive right into the story and get lost, in a very good way. That being said I move on to my thoughts on this series editing. Wait. I said I LOVED it right??
Some of my ratings on these books were four stars instead of the five stars it would have deserved, I will give you a few of the reasons why I think this. The first is editing errors, whomever the "EDITOR" is needs to actually read the books. My next criticism is about how not all the books are marked properly (in the synopsis portion where you read what the e-book is about) with the order in which to read them. Also whomever did that whole debacle with the books order sucks and is off the Christmas list. I unintentionally read a few books out of order due to this. Someone please let all these editor's know not to add in a book later, then call it book 2.5. Holding back such minimal content is annoying, next time put the books that are under a hundred pages together in one book. I would pay extra to have that little convenient option.
My last complaint is that I have just downloaded book eight in this series which makes me sad because I do not want the story to end. I highly enjoyed these books, the short little books in the series were more like short stories but that is just typical for me as I read fast. I had hoped the books would get magically longer that what they last more than one evening. Also I will be copying and pasting this review to the other books since it is more of a generalized review, plus it was not a spoiler review either; hate those.
Buying any of these books in this series is worth it the imagination of them is great and the adventures are awesomely lively, enjoy!!

It's unusual for a series this long to stay fresh and captivating. I like that some characters were allowed to change, while others hung onto their faults. The twists and turns in the plot were delightful and kept the story fresh. By the end, so many people had changed that you never knew what to expect. I have enjoyed this series so much so, that I am eagerly awaiting the next adventure into the realm of the The Cloud Warrior. Full of fantasy, vivid and exciting characters that truly involved you in how and why they are the way they are.. A series for all ages, and all genres. Great Reading everyone!!!!

I am still a fan and can't wait to read the next book but I can't help but notice that the story becomes a bit repetitive. The character is constantly mulling over the same questions w/o any new insights and when he is faced with a challenge, everything always just seems to work out by itself. While the story does not offer many nail biting moments, it is still exiting enough to keep me glued to the pages. I like the unique way the magic is portrayed through the different elementals and am curious to see what new species will be uncovered in the future. It is an easy and entertaining read and I recommend it for people that are looking to kill some time.

I've enjoyed the series so far. Even if i still have small issues with the writing, it has improved. Looking back at the series so far it has been fast paced on all of the books and each has been real quick to read through, but I also feel like much felt stretched out, that the story could have fit into fewer books.
Even though i enjoyed the series i'm not sure i'm going to continue it, it depends on if i found the plot interesting enough but i do look forward to read The Dark Ability when it comes next year.

Manages to keep a long series fresh.

It's unusual for a series this long to stay fresh and captivating. Usually it will become a formula that works but weakens with each book. I like that some characters were allowed to change while others stubbornly hung onto their faults. The twists and turns in the plot were delightful and kept the story fresh. By the end so many people had changed that you never knew what to expect. If you love plot driven fantasy then this is a series for you.

A great and satisfying/surprising conclusion to the saga.

This entire set of novels earn the five star rating. The author has created a vivid world with a sense of awe, wonder, adventure and love. Any reader of these books will be pleased.

Great Story

I loved this series, however, the storyline for Tan was very repetitive throughout all seven books. There could have been more history added for all the characters to fill the space.

Liked this book but there are many mistakes

I did love all the twists and turns but there were many mistakes and it felt like the story was going nowhere for the most part of it I was crying when Asboel died.Looking forward to seeing what happens to Tan in book 8.

A lot of action

It feels like Tan has been stuck in a rut (book 6 was a little slow), but book 7 is packed with action. One of my favorites in this series.

Book 7

Pretty well written. An ok book but needs a little more development for my personal taste. The climax always seems lackluster.
