Every death sends Austin back to the beginning. Unfortunately, the pain comes with him.

Austin is trapped at the start of a zombie apocalypse.

Every time he dies, he wakes up again before the world ends. Different choices. Different deaths. Same nightmare.

He remembers all of it.

After enough brutal resets, something changes. A malfunctioning System appears, giving Austin an Inventory, Skills, experience, and the possibility of surviving longer than ever before. For the first time, the endless loop begins to feel less like a curse and more like something he might actually beat.

Then he meets Anna.

Suddenly, surviving isn’t just about making it one more day. Austin finally has someone worth fighting for.

But the deeper they push into the apocalypse, the stranger the rules become. The System glitches. Messages appear that shouldn’t exist. Memories stop lining up. Places change. Death stops behaving the way it should.

And Austin begins to wonder whether surviving the loop is really the same thing as escaping it.

How many times can someone die before something inside them doesn’t come back?

INFINI-Z is a psychological survival thriller blending zombie horror, an endless death loop, game-like progression, dark humor, brutal survival, and a reality that becomes less trustworthy with every revival.

✨Totally love this book! For anyone that loves LitRPG and a good apocalyptic thriller, this is for YOU! It took me a moment to understand what I was reading… normal guy, normal day…then BAM 💥 the end of the world…on an infinite loop. You follow Austin through an infinite death loop and you slowly start to wonder what you’re reading. Is the MMC losing his mind or are you? Did you read that happened before? Maybe it did, maybe it didn’t. Will have you second guessing everything you’ve read!✨

**Infinizi by M.A. Lay**

**Dark horror, LitRPG, dark comedy, and a whole lot of WHAT DID I JUST READ?!**

Imagine being stuck in a time loop where every time you die, you come back to life. Sounds manageable, right? WRONG. Because not only do you remember every single death, but you can still FEEL exactly how you died. Absolutely horrifying. No thank you.

This book is 250 pages of NONSTOP action, and I mean nonstop. Our main character is trapped in what seems to be some kind of twisted game system, fighting his way through one horrifying death after another. And just when you think you've figured out where this story is going, he finds a girl to partner up with, and everything goes completely off the rails.

I'm talking dark, DARK horror mixed with some seriously twisted humor. Somehow, M.A. Lay manages to make you laugh while simultaneously making you question what kind of messed-up situation you've gotten yourself into.

Now, did I love everything? No. I genuinely could not stand the female character's personality. She drove me absolutely insane. But I also recognize that's probably more of a *me problem* than an actual book problem. Sometimes a character just gets under your skin, and not in a good way.

**BUT THAT ENDING?! 10/10. NO NOTES.**

Seriously, the ending was absolutely fantastic and made this already wild ride even better.

Overall, I really enjoyed this one! It's fast-paced, gruesome, chaotic, and somehow hilarious in the most inappropriate moments. If you love LitRPG, time loops, dark horror, and a little unhinged comedy, I definitely think this one deserves a spot on your radar.

I'm so thankful I had the opportunity to read this as an ARC, and I genuinely cannot wait to see what everyone else thinks because I NEED to talk about this insanity with somebody!

*Thank you for the ARC! All opinions are my own.*

A dark psychological thriller with zombies, non-stop action, and dark twisted humor - this book was fantastically hilarious, frustrating, and gruesome at the same time, and I am here for it! Austin wakes up to find himself stuck in a Groundhog Day-like loop of the start of the zombie apocalypse in a world that seems to run and reset like a video game (think the modern Jumanji - but with Zombies!). His figuring out what’s going on and just what a badass he is NOT, had me cracking up - I mean who hasn’t thought of how they’d survive in a zombie apocalypse, and if you got a do-over from your first stupid mistake or not knowing zombies exist on day one, you’d be an unstoppable badass for sure right? Not Austin. It takes the poor guy multiple deaths before he starts tapping into that side of himself. Then we’re with him on a wild ride of non stop action, confusion, and even meeting a girl aware of the time loop like he is. It was a fantastic, fun, gory take on the zombie apocalypse right up until that ending… and then EXCUSE ME?!?! WTF! Beware the mindfuckery that awaits you! And enjoy!

An absolute mind scrambling read.

Dark horror, LitRPG, thrown into the mix a bit dark comedy, and a whole lot of WHAT DID I JUST READ?! Wait WHAT?

Austin is trapped in an endless loop of survival and death, in the worst possible scenario - A Zombie freaking apocalypse! He is reset after every brutal end, waking back in his bed, and feeling the aftereffects of what ended the previous period of his life.

He quickly realizes that he is stuck in a system full of glitches, it is a twisted dark game system and the game is still learning how to manage itself. The way M.A. Lay wrote this story made me clutching at my throat at some scenes, feeling Austin's pain. I cringed, and recoiled at moments. Then other times I had a good giggle, questioned things that were happening. Wondering what is going to happen next, how is the game going to twist around to punish Austin.

It was a messed up, action packed, mind scrambling book and the ending?! I still question the ending, like WTF?!

I feel like the way that MMC is throughout the story is how a video game character must feel if they were real. It is crazy that after a little ways into the book the MMC finds and meets the FMC and it seems as though they hit it off pretty quickly. I will say that some of the things that happened are crazy and I would not have really seen coming. This book has a lot of action scenes and they are very well written. I am shocked at what the end was like. I don’t want to spoil it but holy crap it was a major plot twist that I didn’t see coming at all.

This story was totally wild, and I absolutely loved all the twists and turns. I'm usually not into books that consist of gaming, but the way this was written, I was able to get into it. The foreshadowing in the book was phenomenal, and the author really had you guessing as to what would happen next.
