3.5 kinky ménage à trois stars
Katie is going back to her hometown after eight years and she's nervous about what is she going to find there. She was eighteen when she had ran away, after sharing an intimate moment with Jed & Ry. They were devastated when she left after their night together, thinking that Katie would never be like them. Now that she is back, can they try again? They don't want to scare her away and they won't accept her running away from them again. But in the end everything depends on her..
Ry and Jed had developed a relationship while she was gone. Ry is Jed's Dominant and Jed is a switch. But if they are going to get into this relationship can Jed be a Sub to Ry and at the same time a Dom to Katie? Will Katie accept their relationship?

I had been curious about how this was going to work, since I hadn't read before about a combination of menage and BDSM. And I'm not talking just the spanking and blindfolding experience, but the whole package. A relationship with Dom & Sub. I was curious to see how this would be developed in this one. How would the roles be shared amongst them and how would the guys feel about sharing this woman. But the author put me into their heads pretty well, so I ended up understanding how they felt about it.
I liked that we had other events going on and it wasn't just sex, although I have to admit that the sex was a little too much. I think it's common in erotica books to have plenty of sex scenes, so it didn't bother me, I just wouldn't mind if they were less as well. Although, I have to admit that they were quite educative. For someone who doesn't know a lot about this lifestyle, they definitely shed some light with all these toys and instruments.
On the other hand, there was a mystery going on, some shady acts going around that in the end felt a bit flat and made me feel underwhelmed. I definitely thought things would get far worse than what happened, I hoped for some angst, but I didn't get it.
And there were some things that happened and seemed a little unrealistic to me. Maybe these things are possible, I have learnt many things by books, like that it is indeed possible forthree cocks to fill into a hole, according to Olivia Cunning.
Oh and let's not forget the cool grandma! She knows about her granddaughter's shenanigans and she's totally cool with that! In what world is this even possible? I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are some old people who are open minded and maybe my country is a bit too traditional and full of narrow minded people, but it just sounded too good to be true. Being so accepting and cool with that. Although, I get the fact that they were already used to the menage aspect, because of the boys' parents, but still.. I think this whole thing would belong in an utopian world.
However, if you are in need for something dirty,filthy & kinky, this one will work for you.

(I received this book for an honest review). This was a really good book. Katie Crane gave her virginity to Ry and Jed when she was 18, but she ran away to New York with her father, because she was naïve and didn't really understand the type of lifestyle that they wanted with her. Eight years later she is back older and wiser and a lot more knowledgeable of the BDSM lifestyle. Eight years ago Ry and Jed lost Katie and now that she is back they are not letting her go and the will do anything to keep her with them. This was a really good book and Bound and Teased is a good title for this book, because Ry and Jed teased the hell out of Katie the sex scenes were hot and not over done. Katie had a lot of guilt about the way she left and how she didn't say goodbye. I really liked all of the character's in this book and I really liked Katie's Gran Miss Mazie. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. The cover of this book is also hot as hell.

This was my first time reading Marie's work but it will definitely not be my last!!! Katie, Ry and Jed reunite when she moves back home after 8 long years. We get to enjoy Katie's journey through the BDSM world with two Doms as we watch the trio fall in love again. All the while trying to uncover the mystery of her Father's betrayal and vandalism to their quaint town. Looking forward to reading more of Marie's work!

I really like menage stories when they not only give time to the threesome, but also a chance to see the connection between the characters as couples, too. I do wish there had been more of just Jed and Ry. MM is my go-to and what I mainly read so I wanted/needed MORE of that!

I do wish there had been a little more something in the beginning. I like to feel like I know the characters and have a little of all that established before things get going, that's just a personal like of mine--this definitely just starts off full speed ahead-which again, isn't bad, I just like a little build up.
I liked Gran, she was sweet. I got pissed at...was it Ry? I don't remember I was glad that Katie wasn't a push-over. She let them know this submissive stuff is bedroom only and she had no problems telling them what she wanted and she demanded that they respect it. There were a couple hot scenes, its a pretty quick read. Recommend for fans of the genre.

I was given this free for an honest opinion and I have to say it was a really hot story. Katie was smart to get herself together before she came back and finally go ahead with Jed and Ry. Wow what a hot pair those two are. Well it's an all around hot book. I wonder if there will be more.

I have enjoyed several stories by this author, and this one has all the good qualities, with a little extra zing. I like that most of the angsty bits are in the past, and only provide the challenges for the present - we don't have to live through them.
This is a BDSM menage story that explores the kinkery while building the relationships. There is more explicit and intense sex in this book than in the other 3 I have read - this is a good thing.
The small town provides a handful of secondary characters that move the story along. The ending is all happiness and sunshine, but without treacle.

I was really looking forward to this, a new to me author, a story with hot men, second chance romance, some BDSM and some spicy sex....so what went wrong?
Well, I guess first off as they hadn’t seen Katie for eight years I expected some discussion of why she left so suddenly? And of course eight years is a long time – she’s now 26, and that's a huge growing and changing gap from 18, so why did they assume she’d come back to them. I thought they’d talk about those missing years, but no, just wham, straight back into some sex and BDSM....I couldn’t see that happening whichever way I looked at it. I just felt that the sex was the story here, and I need a solid story backing up sex, not this way round. Still, there was a bestseller not so long ago of 20 steamy bits from various books, so clearly others don't need the sex to be connected to story and characters :-) Same as always, everyone wants something different from their reading.
Then there’s the connection between them. Why did they act as they did the moment she was 18, they didn’t seem to have had any contact til then and now 8 years on to assume she’s back and wants to pick up where they left off? I didn’t feel any connection between them – no sizzling sexual heat, no can’t keep my hands off him/her, and even the guys seemed like a somewhat staid couple. There was plenty of sex, but for me it didn’t match the story, didn’t feel right and it just overshadowed the story. If you want a book full of hot, steamy sex this is it, but if like me you want more story – well, the story simply gets lost here. Its not strong enough to stand against endless pages of sex.
Stars: Two and a half, didn't work for me, but if you just want the sensuality without bothering about story and connections then you'll love it.

I received this book as an ACR. Let me start off by saying that if F/M/M BDSM not your cup of tea, then do not read this book. I will admit that I have not read this particular subject matter genre in the past, but wanted to make sure I went in with an open mind. I think I can say, I was successful.
This story is based around two alpha doms and a young woman coming to terms with her new found sexuality and confidence. A young Katie flees scared by her own confusing feelings and the threat of tarnishing her reputation by a judgmental small town. In Katie's absence, a relationship blossoms between the two men. Upon Katie's return to her small town "home", she quickly realizes she very much loves both men and the men struggle to find the right way to express their desires for her and each other.
Can their love nurture an unconventional relationship in a small town that thrives on rumors and passing judgment?
This was a quick and satisfying read. I did feel there were other players that could have been explored further. All in all, I recommend this book to anyone that likes the subject matter and wants a HOA.

At 18, Katie loved both Ry and Jed, but left when her dad convinced her that a threesome relationship wasn't right for her. Now, having left her dad's world (including her dad, boyfriend, and job), she's come back to her hometown to stay with her grandmother and start her life over again -- and to find out if she, Ry, and Jed still have feelings for each other.
The main characters in this book are interesting, and I like their relationship. My favorite character is Katie's grandmother, who is awesome. That being said, her dad and everyone in that part of the story is one-dimensional and over-the-top, which detracts from the rest of the book. It's still good, just could have been better.

I loved this book. This was the first book that I have read by this author and I can't wait to read her other stuff. It was a great story and HOT!

Bound and Teased is such an appropriate name for this book. I was bound to this book after reading the first couple of pages. Katie comes home after 8 long yrs. away to live with her grandma. I might add that the grandma is very open minded and can be very protective of her granddaughter at times. Katie hopes that she can rekindle the fire between her and the two men she left behind.
Ry and Jed has had an ongoing relationship ever since Katie left them. Both are very dominant men but Jed needs Ry’s dominance to make him happy. They love and respect each other but they know someone is missing from their lives. It is Katie. They both are very protective of their hearts. They don’t want to get hurt again if Katie would run away. They don’t know how Katie will take it with them being truly together. They learn quickly that Katie likes it. In fact it turns her on more than they ever thought it would. They have to build her trust back and during each sex scene they seem to do just that. Katie teases us all with starting and stopping the sex scenes with the men because she has issues that are triggered from her past. But true to their words the men stop and talk her through the scene. This builds the trust back with her. It also helps her move through the past and get on with her future.
The men don’t know why Katie ran 8 yrs. ago and they don’t know why she has come back. But they will get to the bottom of it. She confesses about her father and hoping that he is the man she wants him to be. She finds out he is crooked and she wants nothing to do with him. Katie’s’ father and ex-boyfriend come looking for her and try to make her go back with them. She is very strong and stands up to them both. Both men make her happy and that is what she wants.
A must read to see Katie and her men get their happily ever after.

They have a relationship that the town knows about but it isn’t thrown in peoples’ faces. They are a private couple and it seems to make things work for them. Both men are great role models for the kids in the town. Jed raises horses and runs a camp for kids to learn all about them. Ry is a sheriff. Katie seems to fit in to their lives effortlessly. I would recommend this book. What a great love story filled in with some smoking sex scenes. I look forward to more books from Marie Tuhart.

I did not finish this book; i just couldn't get into it. Like some of the other reviewers, I felt no connection to any of the characters.
Katie had an amazing night with Ry and Jed when she was 18 but she left the state the following morning with no explanation. She returns 8 years later, claiming to be ready for the type of lifestyle that Ry and Jed wanted with her 8 years ago. During the time she was gone there was no communication between the three despite there being avenues to find Katie (Ry & Jed still spoke with her grandmother).
Katie returns to town and runs into Jed & Ry at her welcome home party. They immediately start making out in her grandmother's pantry; Katie throws a few words around that lead Ry & Jed to realize that she knows more about their lifestyle (BDSM) than she did 8 years ago. They make plans to meet the next day and with no discussion about the time they were apart they immediately engage in a scene.
This is where the story lost me. They act like no time has passed, yet the author wants you to think they've been separated for 8 years. There's no discussion about why Katie left or about why Jed and Ry didn't come after her. Your led to think that Katie felt this intense connection with the two men since she hadn't slept with another man in 8 years, however emotions are never discussed. Instead, the three seem more focused on their sexual relationship rather than developing a true connection.
I'm all for books with hot, steamy sex scenes; however this read more like a porno than anything. There was no character development and only a very vague story line which was mixed with sex scenes.

Instead, the three seem more focused on their sexual relationship rather than developing a true connection.
I'm all for books with hot, steamy sex scenes; however this read more like a porno than anything. There was no character development and only a very vague story line which was mixed with sex scenes.
Very disappointing and I don't recommend wasting your money on this story.

I don’t read MMF menage often, but I was willing to give Bound & Teased a shot because I figured it was time I do expand my horizons a little. Katie Crane, our main character, is a submissive. She comes back home after running away from a BDSM relationship, now ready to go forward with it. Said relationship would be with Ry McKade, a Dom, and with Jed Malloy, a switch (basically, someone who is sometimes submissive, and other times, a dom).
All three characters have some huge flaws and issues, which made them all the more intriguing to read about. Ry wonders if his dominant side may push Katie away, Jed on the other hand wonders if she’ll think him less of a man because he’s a switch, and Katie wonders if they’ll be able to make the relationship work. The erotic parts of the book were excellent, with great writing and they managed to show the dynamics between the characters.
It’s definitely a hot and heavy book, and erotica fans will enjoy it.

Oh my... sex, sex and more sex... that's all there actually is in this book. And although the sex was hot, dirty and kinky, for me, it was just too much. I like (need!) a little more story with the sex scenes. Everything in this book was just way too easy, too obvious and ... well, just too much. I had high expectations but was sadly disappointed. Rating: 5 sizzling stars for the sex, however 2 not-so-shiny stars for the story, or rather, the lack thereof. So 3 little stars is all there's left for this book.

I really enjoyed this newest book by Marie Tuhart. The scorching hot scenes are great, but so is the tenderness and love. I also liked the small town where they live and the support of the community.
There's a real emotional connection between the three lovers. The insight at the end about her father and where the shame come from, I thought that was really good. There's a lot of depth to this story and it's super sexy.

This book was a wonderful and (to me) intriguing reading. I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to reading more books by this author.
Katie Crane goes back to her hometown after leaving sometime ago. When she arrives Ryland McKade and Jed Malloy are basically waiting for her. She left both of them when she left her hometown. Now with the three reunited lessons will be learned, but will Katie end up staying or will she leave again?

It’s really hard for me to resist a cover and title like Bound and Teased has and so, I did not resist
This was a one-sitting read for me and though it has a very, very thin plot I still enjoyed the read but mostly, I enjoyed the hot sex. Here’s the breakdown . . .
After nearly a decade away from home, Katie Crane has decided it’s time to return to the only two men she has ever truly loved. Jed Malloy and Ry McCade have made a life for themselves in their small hometown. One is the sheriff and one is horse trainer and both are desperately in love with one another and the girl who ran from them. Though Jed and Ry have made a nice life for themselves, both have always hoped Katie would come back to them. One day, she does . . . .
When Katie left Jed and Ry, she was barely 18 years old and under the mistaken impression that they would somehow ruin her life is she stayed with them and indulged in any sort of relationship. The whole town would know and she would be participating in an unnatural relationship. Or so her father told her. And so, Katie took off to New York with her father, made a career for herself, found an asshole boyfriend, and discovered a whole lot of truly awful stuff related to her dad and boyfriend. Nothing like, shock, revulsion, anger, and outrage to make a girl pack her bags and leave town.
Within days of arriving back in town, Katie is reunited with Jed and Ry and everyone makes their intentions crystal clear. Jed and Ry want Katie, Katie wants Jed and Ry but there must be ground rules. Katie isn’t interested in being anyone’s slave but she is interested in submitting sexually. Jed and Ry aren’t interested in a slave either but they are very interested in Katie’s submission to them both. Additionally, they are interested in Katie’s response to their continued existence as a couple. If Katie can’t accept Jed and Ry as a couple, then there really is no future for the three of them.
For weeks, the three experiment with one another in a variety of ways with most of the encounters going exquisitely well. A few times, things go a bit wonky which leads Katie to having to reveal things about her past she thought were long buried. As she quickly discovers, the boys want nothing but the best for her and are willing to go to any length to protect her. Turns out, the boys have a lot to protect Katie from especially when her sleazy ex and father come to drag her back to New York.
The Bottom Line: I can’t really knock Bound and Teased too much for being all about the sex because every now and again, I am totally down for a book that is all about the gratuitous sex. As I mentioned previously, the plot is pretty thin and it feels like Katie’s past and present issues are the things that happen randomly between sex scenes. As to those sex scenes . . . . WOWSA!! This is where the story gets good with loads of naughty bits that varied and dirty but always respectful and safe. Jed and Ry and creative guys and they like to play with one another just as much as they like playing with Katie. In all, I found the naughty bits to be the best part of the read and if all you are looking for is some steamy sex with some other random bits thrown in to break up the sex, then Bound and Teased just might be the read for you

As a teenager, Katie Crane was terrified by the relationship that Ryland McKade and Jedidiah Malloy wanted from her. She fled, but now, eight years later, Katie is back and ready for what her men want from her. Ry and Jed have waited patiently for Katie to return home so they could finally claim her as theirs. Dominant Ry and switch Jed know in their hearts that their Katie is a submissive to her bones, and that once their ménage is complete, they'll never let her go. Katie seems unsurprised by the whips and chains and handcuffs that Ry and Jed show her, but will she be so accepting when she learns the two men are lovers? Or when the reasons she left them come back to haunt her?
So, on the surface, BOUND & TEASED had everything I like in a book: an MMF ménage with delicious guy-on-guy lovin', some BDSM and a thread of suspense. I don't know what it was about this book, but something didn't do it for me. Maybe it was the fact that after not seeing each other for ten years, the three didn't have a nice long conversation about what went wrong, instead just jumping right into this weird BDSM relationship like a day never passed. Maybe it was that the three had no chemistry at all, or maybe it was that none of them were particularly likable characters. I just couldn't connect with any of them or empathize with their situations. Maybe it was that the men seemed to just like playing with as many toys as possible and having someone kneel for them more than any sort of real, lasting relationship. The sex seemed like something straight out of a "how to" manual instead of an erotic romance, and honestly, my switch was flipped to OFF anytime the three played. I found myself skimming the storyline instead of savoring it because it had zero depth (though plenty of gratuitous and graphic sex).
And as it turns out, the thread of suspense was nothing more than a piece of lint on an ugly Christmas sweater. While it was technically written well and had only a few editing issues, there just wasn't anything about BOUND & TEASED that captivated me and made me invested.

Bound and Teased is a deliciously passionate and deeply touching journey of learning about ourselves and what we truly need. It’s a story of not being afraid to reach out to those who mean the most to us and ask questions all the while figuring out where our heart is leading us. Sometimes that comes in the form of a small push of curiosity while it could also take the form of a terrible life altering experience. No matter the catalyst, we should always be true to who we are and to those that we love more them life itself.
Katie Crane made a decision the night of her eighteenth birthday that she has regretted ever since. While she made the decision herself, it was based on lies and deception that she didn’t see at first. Once the truth came to light, she knew she had to make things right again if at all possible. She sets out to recapture the life she should have been living the past eight years. There are so much time separating her from her heart that she fears she has forever lost her dreams and her home. If there is nothing else Katie learns from returning to her hometown is that when love and hope still live in our hearts absolutely anything is possible. What she fears the most is if she can still lay claim to the promise that she had before she ran away, or will she find that she isn’t courageous enough to take hold of her dreams before they slip through her fingers once more?
I can easily relate to Katie’s reluctance to chase after her dreams when others in her life that she desperately wants to please are against it. As her elders, they would know better, right? No matter what they are not us, so they don’t truly know what we need. I loved how she never really lost her dream. It was just put on hold waiting for her return, and I love her grandmother’s complete acceptance of Katie. She didn’t want to change her. She just wanted to see her happy, and she knew that her choice was making her happy and allowing her to grow into the woman she was always meant to become. Our future will find us, if we choose to turn around and embrace it with open arms. Love is never far away. It just a heartbeat away.
Marie Tuhart is a truly wonderful writer who knows how to write with deep passion and pure honesty. There is no deception in her story. Only truth and feelings and hope shine through each page. If you want to try a new author, I encourage you to check out her books. You won’t be disappointed.
