Tank & Raina's story was all over the charts. I have laughed, cried and downright screamed. Tank is just a big teddy bear, and Raina has had so many bad things happen in her life, it just wasn't fair. I am so glad they worked out all their differences and got their happy ending. Especially Billy.

Heres the summary of this terrible book:

Womans son dies at biker party

Woman kills president of "good guy" biker club because she thinks he ordered the drive by that killed her son

Dead bikers son wants revenge

Biker son and murderer woman meet

Biker falls for fathers killer

Oh wait womans son isnt dead after all only drugged and kidnapped by brother in law who happens to be a doctor

Woman and bikers save son from crazy doctor

Son gets kidnapped again

Woman and bikers save him again

Blah blah blah blah

All i have to say is this...

THIS WOMAN SHOT YOUR FATHER IN THE HEAD AND YOU MARRY HER!! THIS WOMAN SHIT YOUR HUSBAND IN THE HEAD AND YOU UNVITE HER OVER FOR THANKSGIVING DINNER!!!! NOT IN A MILLION YEARS!! This book was so ridiculous i had to write a review on it.

UGH....This was just okay...

I expected so much more...I wanted so much more. I was let down.
I also wasn't a fan of the sections with Judge and the lawyer...why even include it???
Maybe I'm not seeing the bigger picture but it was just okay.

It is a terrible plot plausibility. Slammer was too cool a president and father to have this happen, let alone not be met with terrible consequences. It would show weakness.

I'm a girl and there is no way I'd except a decent person could do to Slammer what Raina did.

So stars off for those two critical points.
Good writing with story development...saved this from dnf or no stars.

I hate Raina. I mean, she suffered just a little and then everything was ok for her but she still doesn’t wanna be with Tank after everything he did for her? And hate Tank too cause come on, he forgave her so easily 🤦🏻‍♀️ just no for me.

Tank (Justin) and Raina and Billy

Okay, Again the Slammer story line felt out of no where but yet it was a huge part of this story. I got where Tank had compassion and was able to forgive but again that felt way to quick to feel true. You'd think he'd have some more conflicting emotions except complete understanding immediately with no other conflicting emotions. That wouldn't happen and especially for an MC person.

I did like the story line of Billy as I didn't expect that part and it helped to break the same MC stuff happening throughout the whole series. It changed the pace there a bit at least.

I don't love this series but yet I am hooked to find out more. It's like watching Tiger King on Netflix you don't know why you are watching but you can't stop. Plus there again were so many errors with wrong names and details that it was quite distracting again to read. I'm not sure how all those errors got missed. But I read this book as the boxset of 4 and there were a TON of errors throughout. Super hard to get past that because so many wrong names makes it confusing. I assume they had named people differently to start with then changed their minds? Don't know but I would recommend it get re-edited for sure.

The storyline of this book is flawed. There are too many things I want to comment on that it is not worth my time.
I love Tank aka Justin and I’ll leave it at that.

Overall good story - lots of action, drama and some pretty crazy stuff. It was good to get a different side of Tank because up until this book he was just a horn dog. Billy was a highlight - so sweet and funny. I was going to give this 3 stars to begin with because the forgiveness of Slammer's pointless death was so quick but I could see where Tank was coming from - Raina was set up to the dirty work for those scumbag bastard's. I miss Slammer and wish someone had given him some that damn powder!!!! Good to see Jordan back in the story and hopefully we'll hear more about him and Jessica. One thing is for sure I'm sick of those assholes - Devil's Rangers and wish they would get wiped off the face of the earth.

In realtà 3 stelle e mezzo.

A lot of typos

The book has a good story line but there were a lot of typos and grammatical issues that took away from it. Also, stereotyping pits kind of threw me off. Any dog can be violent.

This installment follows Tank/Justin, as new President of the Gold Vipers, trying to find out who ordered the hit on his father (Slammer). He believes it was someone in The Devil's Rangers who hired a woman to do their dirty work as they know The Gold Vipers will not kill women or children. We find out that the woman who killed Slammer is named Raina and she was told by her brother Cole (a prospect for The Devil's Rangers) that Slammer ordered a drive-by of a party that took the life of her two year old son. However, nothing is what it seems in this particular story!

While you definitely have to suspend belief with most stories you read, this one asks you to suspend just a little further than the others in the series so far.

I am going to continue with the series because I am invested and still finding enjoyment in them (they are also still a great way to pass the time during my weekend shifts). However, the characters are kind of starting to look and feel the same, very copy and paste, no variation of personality. I definitely felt that here now that I'm four books in than I did in the previous three.

NO, NOPE, NADA! Your son gets "killed" at a party that your brother's girlfriend took him to and now you are out for revenge on someone that you don't have any evidence is responsible except for the word of a man who is a rival of the MC.
Tank is out for revenge for the murder of his father and he will stop at nothing until he makes them pay. That is until he meets the killer. Then he does an about face and forgives her all because he has the hots for her.
I'm sorry but what kind of person and even MC would just let that slide? Not believable and in real life would still want the killer to pay in some way.
Then we come to find out that her son wasn't even dead that her brother in law drugged him to make him look dead so that he could have a son.
The cherry on the cake has to be when Tank confronts Phillip for kidnapping the kid again he shoots him in the head in front of the 2 yrs old and tell him to keep it a secret what Tank had done so that he doesn't get in trouble. Excuse me he is 2 and doesn't have a clue what is going on and how to keep a secret.
This book was just so over the top ridiculous that it was hard to finish.

The story starts with Raina looking to murder the man she believes is responsible for the death of her two-year-old son. Her brother points to Slammer, the President of the Gold Vipers as the man she is looking for. She follows Slammer and shoots him in the back.

This is where the story lost me. First I really liked Slammer from previous books. Second, this makes Raina a cold blooded killer, although she sees herself as a good person she just took a secondhand comment and then killed a man.

To makes matters worse, Slammer’s son, Tank, ends up forgiving her and being attracted to her. To the woman who murdered his father. I just didn’t get it.

What I did like was the Judge and Jessica's storyline.

I would have gone for four stars if 1) Slammer hadn’t died; 2) Raina hadn’t killed him so easily; 3) so many people hadn’t said, oh but she thought he had killed her son, so it is understandable.

I like this well enough. I was glued to the story until about 70%, then it got a little weird. This is insta-love, but it isn't. This is slow-burn, but it isn't. I don't know exactly how to explain, but it doesn't feel like insta-love, or insta-lust. They are not drawn to each other from the first moment they see each other, and they kinda dislike each other for while.

BUT. But Tank forgave Raina pretty quickly and her sins are not minor. She did unspeakable things and got away with everything without a scratch. That rub me the wrong way. And the last chapters were from a couple I didn't know since I didn't read the other books, so I didn't care for them and just skimmed a few chapters.

The narration was pretty solid, I like the narrator a lot. His voice is gruff and deep, his pacing and pauses is spot on. He didn't do a great job of differentiating the voices though, my only complaint.

I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

I really loved the story line in this listen - so many layers of suspense and twists and turns too! Danger from what seems like every direction. Amazing characters with tough MC guys that are really true alpha teddy bears inside. Loved Tank and Raina as well as the secondary characters. This is book 4 in The Biker series and can be read as a stand alone which is what I did, however this rather makes me want to read / listen to the previous reads so I can get some back ground on some of those secondary characters and see where this MC club and all it's bad boys are headed. OH, also - Alexander Johns has THE PERFECT voice for Tank! Deep and rough and just so right for this read. - absolutely wonderful!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

So I wasn't so sure about this at first because I was not happy about Slammer dying in the last book and to find out Tank, who I have loved from the beginning was going to hook up with his killer seemed a bit far fetched but with the story it worked and with the traits these characters have had from the beginning of understanding it worked. There were some strange twists that I knew about but still seemed odd but they did add to the story. I also like how we got more of everyone else and more of Jessica and the Judge though the whole part with the lawyer seemed like it was just thrown in to tie up a loose end and didn't seem to really be necessary. The rest of the story though was great.

I have submitted this review after listening to the audiobook of this title.
We see Tank as the new Club President, after his father's death.
So the order of business is now to find the pledge that was driving the woman who did the deadly deed.
Leads to Raina, the pledges sister lead to an interesting cat and mouse game. Finally a confession happens, with a surprising result.
The next day brings an even bigger surprise. Dramatic hostage situations occur, with frightening consequences should things go wrong.
Yes, it's a new Tank, with a vastly different outlook, that amazes his team mates and readers alike.
A rather interesting saga, that shows the whole club adaptation under new management.

Breaking the biker:)

Book four in this series focuses mainly on Tank, the newly appointed President of the Gold Vipers Chapter in Iowa and the woman who killed his father, Raina. We see a bit more of Jessica and Jordan as well. Storyline is as follows: Tank is determined to find the person who killed his father. Raina lost her two year old son when allegedly the Gold Vipers drove by shooting a party that the Devils Rangers were throwing. Now Raina is determined to face Tank, after he shows up at her place of work looking for her brother!

Good read!

Wauwwwww this one is so ridiculous
You loose your son in some shooting thing
You think that you might know who did it
Then you go and kill him without even knowing for sure.
Then of course you get married to the son of the man you killed.
And apparently the little boy is still alive
And you and your little son live happily ever after with a man who lost his father
You the one you killed, oepsie I made a mistake.
In my world she would be in prison and he in a mental institution.
Who would marry the woman who killed your dad is beyond me.

This is the first book by Cassie Alexandra that I've had the pleasure in reading! Although this is the forth book in a series (they are all standalone, though) the blurb immediately drew me into buying this one.
From the first page to the last, I couldn't put it down. The romance was there, I loved the characters and the storyline (though parts of it were a little predictable), and I look forward to reading more by this author!

I've been enjoying this series, but this one was harder to love than some of the others. Raina, for example. I understand that grief can make you do and feel desperate things, but murder? I'm not sure I'm buying that. And, it stretches the imagination a bit too far to imagine that Tank would be able to fall in love with the murderer of his father. I tried. I really did. But, this one just pushed the bounds of fiction a little too far.
