The Kingdom Srikes back

by Dr. Ralph Winter

An overview of God's heart for the nations as expressed in history from Abraham to the present.

This unique overview of Scripture and world history paints a clear and compelling view of world missions and evangelism. Covering many cultures, historical events, and the times when followers of God have reached out to others -- and the times they have not -- this booklet is an excellent overview of a global outlook that permeates Sonlight.

This book had good info, but I didn’t care for the style of writing. Like you were reading a movie script or something (?). Not sure how to explain it, but it could have been done better.

I suppose this book is intended for a younger audience. I find the rhetoric to be lacking in reverance and unpleasant.

[Rebecca]

A different perspective on biblical history.

Very short read, but things to think and talk about.

[Renee Haug]

Read this with my daughter's 6th grade curriculum. We did not love it.

[Lisa]

Short overview of the history of the Christian church.
