Fantastic on Audio! 🎧
Ohhh!! This was GOOD! This is book two of the Mercy River Ranch series, but can be read as a complete standalone. In this book, we follow Lila, who is bleeding profusely from a stab wound, bleeding out and rushing to the sanctuary of her ex husband. It’s been three years since he broke her heart. & the last words she said to him were “over my dead body,” but perhaps she didn’t mean them that literally. Seb is a very emotionally scared man. After his time in the military, he couldn’t handle losing another person. Lila’s job as a wildlife photographer isn’t the safest job in the world, but the kind of danger she has found herself in, is next level. Someone is out to hurt her. Seb needs to keep her safe, forcing them in close proximity, in his one-bedroom cabin. I really loved the emotional depth of this second chance romance!! && the found family just keeps getting better and better with each book. The audiobook was absolutely fantastic! Performed in duet by Connor Crais and Emma Wilder, who did an amazing job bringing all the emotion into these characters voices. Highly recommend the audio! I can’t wait for the next book in the series!!
