NOW THIS IS A HALLOWEEN LOVE STORY 🎃.
You ain’t have NO BUSINESS killing Caspian like that. Caspian was simply trying to reconnect with and care for his family, and I was rooting for him the entire time.
Caspian Black went missing on Halloween six years ago and has never been seen since. Little did his family know that he was trapped in his mansion, surrounded by memories. Lakelyn, his girlfriend, flees town amid grief and unanswered questions, but family and fate bring her back to the old mansion. Listen… the laughs Willow and Caspian got out of me with their foolishness was a nice balance. I loved how we could feel Caspian and Lakelyn's love for each other through the pages. Finding out who killed Caspian BOOOOO … I thought it would be more of a twist. Without spoiling anything, I liked the compromise we reached at the end regarding Sunrise and Sunset. Such a GOOD READ !!

First things first, this is the author’s FIRST book in the paranormal world, and BABYYYY, she understood the assignment! 👏🏽🔥
When I started reading the prologue, I was a little confused about where this story was headed because everything seemed so normal. Chile, let me tell you something… BY THE END OF THAT PROLOGUE, MY MOUTH WAS ON THE FLOOR! 😩😳 I was NOT prepared for that! The way things took a turn had me locked in, and from that point on, I had to know what was going to happen next!
I stretched this book out because I genuinely did NOT want it to end. You know when you get so attached to a story and its characters that you start reading slower because you're not ready to say goodbye? THAT WAS ME! 🥹❤️
I absolutely fell in love with MMC Caspian and FMC Lakelyn! Their story had me invested, and Caspian? Whew! 😂👻 This man was a whole fool for running those tenants out of his mansion! I was sitting there like, SIR, CAN YOU PLEASE ACT RIGHT?! 🤣🤣 He definitely earned his title as the not-so-friendly ghost!
And we CANNOT forget Willow, Lakelyn’s sister! That woman was HILARIOUS! 😂😂 Willow was so unserious, and every time she came around, I was ready for whatever foolishness was about to come out of her mouth. She brought such a fun element to the story, and I absolutely loved her!
Alecia J. took a chance stepping into the paranormal world, and I think she did an AMAZING job! The story pulled me in, kept me curious, made me laugh, and left me wanting more. I love when an author can take me somewhere unexpected and make me fall in love with characters I wasn't ready to leave.

I truly believe there is nothing Alecia J can’t do 😮💨 When you combine your favorite author + favorite genre that = MASTERPIECE 🙌🏾🙌🏾
I have read different types of paranormal books , but this one here felt like we got a behind the scenes on the how and the why on what may leave us asking questions . Then former to do it in a way that I felt like I was on this journey with Caspian trying to figure out how to be a ghost and how to get his family back . I’m truly in awe finishing up this book .
Lakelyn 😮💨 One thing about Alecia’s books she has some strong FmC . Despite the hurt and heartache my girl was dealing with . She stood tall and stood strong for everyone around her . I’m just glad she had ones around her that took notice and wanted her to not just be strong but LIVE !!

Caspian was SO good!!! This was the perfect book to get me back into reading on my Kindle after taking a little break. A paranormal ghost story right at the end of October? The perfect seasonal read! 👻
I loved how strong Caspian and Lakelyn’s love was, along with the love they shared with their son. Their bond was so powerful that it allowed Caspian to stay and continue being part of their lives, even after everything they went through. It was touch-and-go for six years, but seeing everything come together for a happily ever after in such a beautifully ghostly way made it all worth it.
I also loved Miss Veda and Willow as supporting characters. They brought so much laughter, warmth, and that feeling of familiar love to the story. They added so much to Caspian and Lakelyn’s journey and made the book even more enjoyable.
Honestly, I would LOVE a sequel following the kids as they grow up and navigate having a dad who is a ghost/spirit. I think there’s so much potential there, and I would absolutely read it!

Definitely worth the read!!
The cover alone had me intrigued and wanting to dive into this story, but the storyline and the author’s writing kept me hooked! Caspian and Lakelyn’s love story was so unique and powerful that not even death could keep them apart. Finding out what really happened to Caspian was heartbreaking. It was so senseless, and neither of them deserved that kind of pain.
Willow was the comedic relief we didn’t know we needed! 😂😂 I kept laughing at her foolishness, and she definitely brought some much-needed humor to the story.
This book was over 600 pages, and I absolutely hated to see it come to an end. I’m hoping we get to read more about this family in the future because I’m not ready to let them go just yet!

I am so glad I found this Author within the last couple of years because she has not disappointed me with her books! I love good novels, and you Ms. Alecia J have an avid reader for life. I love paranormal and you did your BIG one on this first one by you. As you said paranormal is how you write it and there are no certain rules. Caspian, Lakelyn, and Willow were great characters to sustain the story that is not to say Henrietta, Granny, Kaidence and everyone else did not add to it. I just love a good book that makes me laugh out loud literally ( had folks asking me what is so funny) and Willow did it for me. This paranormal romance with Caspian’s no nonsense, Lakelyn’s maturity, Willow’s comedic relief, Granny wisdom, and Henrietta’s I got this attitude. This book has become my favorite so far this year. Well done.

I am absolutely truly speechless. This story was sheer perfection. It wasn't your normal paranormal love story. But it really worked for me. I absolutely adored Caspian and getting his full story of finding out exactly what happened to him. I loved Lakeland and her relationship with her family. Kaidence was adorable and so smart. I knew I hated that n***** Yonas, i like him from the first time we knew that that's who she was dating. I aint trust her other ex either. I love that they were able to really figure everything out. And get closure. Willow is the comedic relief type of sister we all need in our lives. So serious yet, unserious all at the same damn time. I literally have no notes, no complaints. This book was 600 plus pages of perfection. Highly recommend.

I have been waiting on this book for a few weeks and It did not disappoint. Absolutely loved the ghostly element and the love story all wrapped into one. It’s a perfect Halloween, Urban Romance. Loved Caspian and Lakelyn and Willow was the perfect comedic relief. This was such an all around good story and every character added to it. It gave me warm and cozy but also an edge and a bit of mystery. Alecia wrapped it up perfectly in the Epilogue and covered every detail. The world building when it came to the paranormal element was very believable and executed well. She had gained a reader out of me!!

I enjoyed this wayyy too much! Caspian has risen the bar cause now I need to know that nothing will stop my nigga from trying to be with me… not even the afterlife. I loved the sneak peak of Caspian and Lakelyn together and then bam, Caspian is dead. All in the epilogue, mind you. I didn’t know what to expect after that, but I definitely was locked in. I usually hate a slow burn, but I think the slow moments were all necessary. And Caspian as the unfriendly ghost has me cackling the whole book. I love that Lakelyn was also still pinning for her missing man and it made the ending so much better. Oh and Kaidence, he was absolutely my favorite.

I hope we see some more of Mr Black, now that he is discovering new things since his daughter has been born. Alecia J said she was nervous about putting this out, but it just goes to show me that she has range in her writing abilities. She didn't do too much with this being her first paranormal book. Job well done ma'am!!

My first Ghost Boyfriend
This was the best Ghost romance I’ve ever read! Willow had me in tears with her natural comedy. I enjoyed the banter between the characters. Caspian…my dear Caspian! I hate that his life was cut short but the way he came back and made his presence known throughout the story, was genius. Alecia J., you done an amazing job with this book. I was captivated by the cover, as I am with most of your books but the stories are always beautifully done and have me mesmerized from the 1st chapter. This one may be my new favorite.

This was my first ghost paranormal, and I must say I love the way Alecia wrote this story! There were times I forgot he was at ghost and then it would hit me like dang he's never coming back. This story hit me in the feels a little more than expected. Grief is hard, not knowing is harder, but the way you still gave us an HEA is unmatched! You sure know how o give us a thickie and still have us wanting more!

Everything about this story was great, I truly love when a author can take you through so many different emotions within a story and 34%and I’m crying my eyes out, laughing at Willow and smiling at Kaidence. Caspian did not play about his family and I am so happy the truth came out and everyone lived happily ever after. This definitely is a must read if you’re looking for a Halloween love story!

Caspian said "Dead or alive, I hadn't forgotten how to provide" and made sure Lakelyn wanted for nothing. He stood on business eventhough he had no business being dead. 🤣🤣 And that damn Willow had me hollering, she was so unserious! Definitely add this to your spooky season lineup!

You did your big one with this book and I laughed and cried, and most of the time it wasn’t sad crying it crying from laughing so hard at Caspian and Jesus take the wheel from Willow crazy self, the things that came out her mouth was hilarious 🤣. Best paranormal book ever
I love to read paranormal books during Halloween time and this is my favorite one. I loved all the abilities you allowed him to have. And I loved the happy ending he got to stick around with his family create another child and everything. This was a great story. For this to be your first one you did great. I look forward to you writing more.

I honestly love this author......but this is the slowest burn ive ever read, the story was cool it honestly didn't have to be 648 pages long she doesn't even see him until chapter 24 I believe, willow was the books saving grace with her jokes

This was so good. Great, detailed storytelling with an unusual, but enjoyable plot. The characters are great, and it's not all about sex. Read!!! You won't be disappointed.

I truly enjoyed Casipan! I laughed, wanted to cry and then laughed some more. From the beginning I just knew that man was nothing to play with and that he would stand on business. Dead or Alive, he did JUST THAT.
Ist paranormal where? Alecia you executed this perfectly. You can feel when an author dedicates real time, effort and research into their work. And It was definitely felt!
