This was a nice change of pace from the previous issue's carnage. Without so much action going on you can really get a good look at all the detail Murphy packs into a scene. I'm intrigued by the story here, enough to keep me coming back. I think my problem with it is that the pacing feels odd in comparison to the first issue. The first issue felt like it was constantly moving forward while also giving the reader all the information needed to understand the characters motivation. It takes a big step back and does some world building in this issue, mainly giving us the origin of Debbie and LED/Teddie.
I am so glad I didn't stop reading after the first issue. This was fantastic. The laid the ground work and did the world building that this story needed. I am still not a fan of the whole dystopian future scenario, but the characters and story is so well done that I've been sucked into it anyway.
