I think we needed a little more development in this story. More time for a relationship between Thor and Aubrey for sure I felt they got the short end of the stick kinda. She's pretty head strong and knows what she wants and goes after it. Thor's got some demons to work through from being undercover all that time and I think it needed to be touched on but they were not. I was sorta expecting a little more out of this story but it seemed rushed. I think it was so busy with the actual conflict we lost the romance part of it. I liked what it was about and the super shifter twist was good. Felt bad for Michael and that was sad but kudos for Luke. I honestly think more time should have been made for Thor because he was special I thought and his character was complex with everything with his past undercover. I still recommend the read but I wanted more for Aubrey and Thor.

Book 3) These are quick, short stories jam packed with an interesting tale, hot sex and likable characters. Nothing too deep here. Thor, Black Bear Clan Security, and Aubrey, Rn have met, but he doesn't want to involve her in his undercover danger. They have a sizzling one night stand, but it's not enough for either of them. At the hospital, Aubrey realizes something sinister is happening. A doctor is drugging healthy cops and turning them into killers. Thor senses her and comes to help. They save Luke, but Michael is doomed and the "cave in" kills him and the doctor. The clan accepts her, and Thor explains the mating. Will they have a double wedding with Caleb and Prisha? Will Luke heal from his dose of the evil serum? Loving characters, action and super sex top this story. Easy reading and a happy ending. ENJOY !!!

Good

I enjoy the adventure aspect of this book. Good romance and it does have some steamy parts but not over-the-top. Of course the adventure part is pretty simply planned not a nail-biter bestseller thriller. The romance typical for this series; true love immediately. Because of that you lose part of understanding the relationship development. The development of these two different characters would've been interesting versus the action packed story. You need more time to develop the romance.

I Love the Bears Heat series!

I fell in love with these characters in a Bears Bride and they just get better and better. Aubrey is a smart, amazing, fun loving character and I was rooting for her to get her own Bear Mate! Thor is an amazing person but thinks he can't have a mate because of his dangerous work. But his heart and his bear want that sassy woman!

Really liked this one

I think this was my favorite story in the series. Aubrey is real spunky and she really cares about people. Thor has been hardened from working undercover and it looked like he was going to let his mate go, but I'm glad he didn't. Add crazy doctors and the mob and you got one interesting story.

Kindle Unlimited read. When she sees him at the party, she wants him. He keeps pushing her away. After one hot night together, she wake up and he's gone. When he decides that he wants her, will he be to late to save her?
