In The Days of Noah, Book Perdition, the end times fall on America like a shadow of darkness and the last days bring an onslaught of sword, famine and plague. Biblical prophecies are fulfilled when a world leader arises to pull the nations back from the brink of disaster and usher in a new age of peace, but at what cost? In the aftermath of the collapse, America is left to flounder while the rest of the world is rebuilt under the rule of the Global Republic. Noah Parker and his family refuse to take the pledge to the world order and are thereby excluded from the one-world economy which functions using a cashless electronic currency. When the Global Republic finally arrives to begin rebuilding the former United States, Noah and the true Christian community are labeled as terrorist, hunted down like animals and forced to choose between fight or flight.
Mark Goodwin is a Christian author and host of the popular Prepper Recon Podcast which interviews patriots, preppers and economists to help people prepare for the uncertain times ahead. His previous fiction series, The Days of Noah spent several months at number one on the Amazon best-sellers list in multiple categories. His first series, The Economic Collapse Chronicles, also hit the Amazon best-sellers list in several categories.
Um, well it was a great book. Picked up exactly where 2nd book stopped and was full of action etc. The only thing I didn't care for was the ending seemed rushed. The author could have easily made at least one or 2 more books in the series, like does the characters manage to take the fight to the enemy or no? Instead they jusy get raptured rather suddenly. Would have enjoyed more books in the series to see how it played out before they were raptured! I do hope the author writes the series he talks about in the afterward of the last book though because its a story we all want to know.

During this third book of the Days of Noah trilogy, we continue to see the demise of the U.S. and the rise of a one-world government. The U.S. is weakened by disease, and the U.N. turned global republic takes over.
Still we follow two groups. Noah and his in eastern TN, as they cope with having to find food, arms, fuel, and a safe haven. The second group is in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, where they meet an older gentleman, named Elijah, who is very resourceful.
Those who like suspense, survival-type, end time fiction would like these book. I enjoyed them as well, despite some grammar issues at times. Goodwin educates as well, during these books on how to possibly survive an apocalypse of sorts.
I really enjoyed this box set. Book three ended nicely. It left little questions and I really liked that. I prefer to have my books all wrapped up neatly. Unlike real life. In anyway. The survivors that got taken in the rapture part was really well written.
Orthodox in vision this series raised really a lot of interesting questions and added a lot of facts that I want to follow up on still.
The narrator of this box set was really exceptionally well picked. He added a layer to the story. Made it maybe even more accessible. That is really a good thing.
I just finished reading the three books of The Days of Noah. What a delight. There was one or two ideas that I disagreed with, but as the author said, it's fiction. I wish that everyone I know would read this series, but since that won't happen, I will just tell everyone bits and pieces from these books. I am a firm believer in prepping, but now I feel like building a huge building to cram with food and firearms for the future. I know that we are at the end days, and I really liked how the author dealt with the subject, taking ordinary people to live out the rest of their lives in this setting. As a Christian who knows the Bible foreword and backward (thanks mom and dad) I was prepared to disagree with everything, but Mr Goodwin closely follows the Bible in every scene. I will definitely be reading every book by this author.
Absolutely awesome conclusion to the Days of Noah series!
This series has been one of the best EOTWAWKI/SHTF novels/series' I've read yet. Goodwin's knowledge and understanding of the current geo-political environment is spot on. The Christian twist on the genre is very well done including the relation between prophecy and current events. Regardless of your spiritual beliefs, this series is of the highest quality. There are only a hand full of authors who approach the genre with such a well-rounded and intelligent grasp on the true reality of both what is going on today, what is being planned for humanity, and how it may turn out.
I see Mark Goodwin as a very welcome competitor in the genre, and I'm glad he is because the more people we reach, the better our chances are for fighting back.
This series is an excellent study into the psyche of the American dream. I very much appreciated the effort the author made to put his story in a religious context.
Though one or two reviewers have commented they found the religious aspects a challenge, perhaps it is more fundamental level of challenge they are facing the mere story they are reading a story in a novel?
I learned so much about the economic collapse that is coming. Mr. Goodwin does a great job explaining the financial problems America is facing. In words that average people can understand. He also teaches how it applies to Christians, and what they need to do to prepare.
I enjoyed the book. While it isn't as polished as some other series it is still enjoyable to read. The writer includes ideas about cutting edge technology and shares theories about how they can be used in fulfillment of prophetic statements in the Bible.
The life of a modern day Noah and his family, their trials and tribulations and the importance of family and the fellowship of a like minded circle of friends. Start from the beginning, the scenarios seem to come from the news of today and the recent past and are projecting a future to prepare your physical and spiritual life.
This book earned one of the very few 5 star reviews I give out. This was the final installment of an excellent series of three books. Once again, the attention to detail got better in the smallest of ways, yet noticed by me as I pay close attention when an author writes about a specific subject buried within his words. I will not mention the specifics as I do not want to jade your opinion or your reading style to look for something.
There was no swearing nor sex in this book which applied to the whole series. I cannot rate this book higher than five stars, but I would rate the whole series above four stars. If you enjoy this genre of books, I would encourage you to read the whole series over a four to five day period at two to three hours per day.
Read my reviews on the first two books to get a feel of what they are about with the cast of characters.
Well, that thing I was looking forward to happening in this book in the previous book’s review? That didn’t happen, and I’m kicking myself for it because that’s just probably something I should’ve saw coming.
In any case, the stakes are pretty high in this one as the building blocks are formed for the chaos to come. I am so glad that fans, of which I was not one at the time, reached out when this trilogy ended to implore Goodwin to develop a sequel saga.
I think my favorite moments in this book is the light yet serious banter at times between Everett, Ken and Lisa. The actions that Everett took resulted in this ending, showing just how awesome character driven stories can be when done right. Goodwin already has the best plotting tool available for his books, the Bible. He just needed to make true to life characters, and he does just that.
Over all I enjoyed this book. I am not a religious person and would probably be frowned upon for my personal beliefs amongst this group in real life. The story was an interesting concept about the NWO and if you could wade through all of the bible versing it was well thought out. The only real problem I had was at the end when all of Jesus' devout believers up and disappeared. That's right just poof, gone like a flash of light. I was disappointed because it left you wondering what happened to the story line they where building up to. It made me feel like the author got bored of writing the story and gave up with Devine intervention. I would have given the book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ like I did with the other two in the series but the ending soured me a little.

This is the last book in this series. Not sure I like it as much as the first. It did end with the Rapture and Repentance which is what I hoped for. It also left me interested in the Days of Elijah series. I think this is mainly because I liked the Everett portion of the book better than Noah. Noah and the militia got on my nerves after a while, but I was determined to finish the series. Also, I felt like this book left me feeling a little bothered by some of the rhetoric about gangs and city folks with low hanging pants coming to the more rural areas. The assumption was made that they would come to loot and steal, versus looking for help. Oh well . . . This ending left lots to be desired.
the key to any good action/adventure/Sci-fi/Futuristic work of fiction is the feeling that what you reading (or re-reading in this case) is that it pulls you into the story and you feel like "this could really happen." Mark Goodwin has a gifted has shared it with all of us. So much better than fiction because this is a great book because most of this will happen and this is Marks most likely scenario. We know it'll happen because he matches this with the power of Biblical prophecy ... This is certainly one of his best works.
Yes, spoiler alert, it ends rather abruptly, with an incredibly insightful teaser of another series. get ready to continue in his next series called Days of Elijah.
Excellent ending to the trilogy. I really enjoyed the first book, 2nd book was more like meh. Perdition was a wild white knuckle ride with an awesome ending. My normal reading/ listening genre is post apoc and this fit right in. I have heard people in there reviews say there is too much scripture in the book, I did not feel that way at all, I felt it was how the author explained the story. Also I did not think the author was pushing an agenda for any particular denomination. Great listen and the narrator is top notch.
This is the third and final installment of The Days of Noah series. Although I enjoyed this series, I have to admit that the ending was very disappointing. To be fair, I did see the ending coming and it does align with the story line. I believe that the story could have ended in much more meaningful way, however, that is just my personal opinion.
Overall this is a good series and well worth the read.
I really enjoyed reading this book! It was very realistic and definitely probable! I believe every word written in the Bible so I definitely believe something like this will take place before Jesus returns to earth to take His followers home!! Believe in Jesus and confess your sins and you will become a follower of Christ. May God open your spiritual eyes and ears so you won't be left behind!
End times fiction has been done multiple times so this is not a new concept. The author does add to the story some good practical examples of how to keep yourself prepared for adverse events like weather, earthquake, the fall of government. So in that sense this series has a slightly different take on the reality of the end times prophecy. I do plan on reading The Days of Elijah to see how the author plays out the rest of the prophecy.
I went through the series with a gusto. One need only open their eyes and ears to see and hear the prophetic signs all around us. Only God knows when he will rapture the church but we must be ready and prepare for endurance with His help. Be faithful to the end.
I will not give away to much about this series. I could be ripped from today's headlines I recommend this series as predictable series of possible events. A Christian book series. I liked it a lot. I read books 1,2 and 3 stopping only to eat and sleep as I am in a two week quarantine. Looking forward for book 4. God Bless America
What a pile of homophobic, misogynistic, racist, gun-nut, fake patriot, radical-conservative crap! The only thing going for this book is I had a good laugh as the terrible dialog. The ending.....LOL...and they all lived happily ever after. I only listened to all three because they were a continuous listen on Audible and I wanted to see how bad it would get.
Fantastic plot, taken right from the Bible....Truth. Great characters, settings, relationships... and lessons! Bravo Mr. Goodwin!! Well done. Well done, indeed!
This is a different approach to end times than I have ever read before. I always thought the rapture came before things fell apart. This series makes me extend my thinking.
An engaging novel (the old man in the woods was quite a twist!), albeit not a theological look into eschatology. There were a few philosophies I disagreed with, but they were not pernicious. The main thrust is believe and salvation in Jesus, so no complaints there!
The Days of Noah series is a sobering wake-up call for Americans who wonder where their country went; the best of Christian speculative fiction. Not all is speculative or fiction.
