Wow, what a roller coaster of emotions!! I haven't cried like that in a long time. I enjoyed this book so much more than the first book! Will review soon :)

5 Stunning, heart wrenching stars!!!!
Seriously. I am an absolute wreck right now. So much so that words are not even forming correctly!
Let me start with this: Alexa Loved is a book I have been anticipating for quite awhile now. It's predecessor, Alexa Crushed, was one of my favorite books of the year. So, of course, Alexa Loved has been at the very top of my TBR for quite some time now. All too often, the second (and third... and fourth...) book in a series just don't stand up to the original. But by goly, T.R. Cupak freaking ROCKED my world once again. And let me tell you- she rocked it HARD!!!!!
As always, I'm sticking with my 'no spoilers' rule, but it will be especially hard for this review because there's so very much I have to say! Every single scene that our author presented to us was exquisitely crafted and provided movement that left me sobbing numerous times. My heart and soul were twisted and stomped on, then repaired numerous times throughout the story, until I literally realized I was putty. I was all-in, consumed, and transfixed not just by the story, but the depth that each character brought to the overall feel of the read.
Did I foresee anything that took place throughout the story? Nope! Not once. I was so wrapped up in what was taking place though, that my mind never even wandered into prediction- land. I'm not sure that's ever happened before! A piece of my heart will forever be left with this Alexa duet, because they are honestly two of my favorite books I've ever read. T.R. Cupak, thank you for the gift of Alexa!

Book 2 immediately picks up where the first left off and your STILL confused as to what team you want to join- Ethan or Devin. Even after finishing, I’m still conflicted. It’s literally IMPOSSIBLE to choose a side and with how Cupak drove the book, not only hurt A LOT, but made the decision a little, I guess, easier.
Cupak is a fantastic writer and it’s pretty much impossible not to finish this in one-sitting. I get so engrossed in these books that I completely loose what is going on in the real world and focus on this story. This series is a wild, crazy ride and filled with many tears!
It is now after graduation and Devin and Alexa are starting their lives together. But when Ethan tries to come back into the picture, Alexa is thrown for a loop. She wants to be with Devin, but she can’t ignore her connection to Ethan.
You can’t help but fall in love with both men; they are such opposites of each other. It’s hard not to love them both! That’s why the decision to chose for Alexa is so hard.
Grab yourself (A LOT) of tissues, a blanket and some chocolate- your gonna need it while reading, trust me. But this is so worth the read! I’m obsessed with T.’s writing style and how vivid her story is!
Highly recommended to fans of the new adult genre! This won’t disappoint!

The first book took me by surprise in so many ways. This book gutted me. Ugly horrible, snot dripping tears. But it also kept me at the edge of my seat.
Alexa Loved starts off where Alexa Crushed ended and things just take off from there.
Alexa and Devin have graduated and are trying to start a new together. However, Ethan isn't going to give up on Alexa quite so easily.
This very unique love triangle is the least of their worries though. Ethan's neurotic and crazy step-mom adds herself into the mix and causes a lot of headaches for them all. Plus, we still have that teeny, tiny MicroSD popping up in the background causing Alexa to stay on her toes.
There is a lot of suspense and mystery going on in this book but T.R. brings it all together so perfectly. But let's not forget the crazy, hot sex scenes. Oh hot damn! Let's just say T.R. knows how to not only show the hot part but make it very sensual in the same manor.
T.R. has a way with words. She is able to put them to paper (technically tap it out on her keyboard) and bring us a beautiful, heart breaking story full of suspense. I am thrilled that we will be getting more books of this series in the future. There's a character that I am particularly curious about - Viper. I need to know more about this man - he has definitely piqued my interest and I need more!
If you haven't already, I highly recommend reading this series. It's one series you won't be disappointed with.

I really enjoyed the twists and turns that came along in the second book of this series. There were several pieces I didn't expect. This is a great, fun read for anyone who loves a romance with a bit of steaminess to it. The ending made me feel like there could potentially be a third book....

Now, after I read Alexa Crushed I just had to read and finish Alexa Loved and just let me say that I do not regret in the slightest bit reading this book. This was such an amazing read, I felt as though I really got to connect with Alexa, Devin and Ethan on such a different level, and I loved it. I love how to can feel what T is trying to tell you, you feel every emotion - and you feel like you know them and they are your friends that all of this is happening to. This book, was so much better than the first (no offense T) but I just love all the raw emotion and all the want that was in this book. Everything about it was amazing, let us talk characters here please.
Alexa - this girl. I was really starting to wonder about her during this novel, only because both Ethan and Devin are amazing, but you can only really want one for life. I'm glad that she picked one that I approved of - that's for sure. The only thing that I cannot agree with Alexa, is how much she acts on her emotions out of nowhere, without thinking. That has tended to get her into trouble in the past - you would think/hope that she would learn from her past mistakes, but not quite yet.
Devin, I really feel as though through this novel, Devin has become my favorite character, he is the man that I would pick - and I would want to personally marry. He has been ready to settle down, since he was like 12 years old. I love everything about Devin, how sweet and sentimental he is, and how much he loves to share his emotions with Alexa, but I the only thing that I wish was different about Devin, was that he would be a little more straight forward. He tends to let things that I feel are a huge deal - he lets Alexa get away with no problem, without a conversation, or trying to figure out how to avoid those kinds of problems. I wish that he would be more of that kind of person.
Then there is Ethan - I really hated Ethan. I thought that he was a home-wrecker, I thought that he was a slut, and I didn't like the idea of Alexa wanting to be with him. I didn't like how he would enter her life and thinks that all was fine and dandy and that he could take her from Devin. He was cocky and arrogant, and I understand fully that was T's idea of him, and that's cool. But Ethan is not someone that I would care to associate with.
The new people in their lives I would have to say are amazing, Jeremy and Sebastian, I cannot believe how much I loved them. They were like the big brothers that Alexa needed and I cannot be more thankful for them and everything that they have done for her, throughout the whole book.
I am trying so hard not to give too much away - because so much happened, but it was all amazing and it is something that I don't want to give away too much because everyone deserves to love this book on their own and be surprised and shocked with all the things that happen in the story. Trust me though, you will need kleenex. It was too the point that I literally messaged T on Facebook and ask her why she would do such a thing! Trust me, you're going to want to read this book - and soon. If you haven't read it already, then you need to, after you read Alexa Crushed of course!

What can I say… As in the first book TR Cupak delivered all the clichés.
- Super loving and understanding boyfriend
- Stalking alpha ex-boyfriend
- Best friends I would wish for myself
- A new found family
- Creepy stalking enemy
- And a whole lot of DRAMA!
First we had the love triangle drama, than the heartbreak drama and then at 70-77% drama overdrive.
I don’t know why, but it worked for me, I guess it’s the way she put it all together or I just was in the mood for a story like this one.
Alexa Crushed ended with Ethan returning and Alexa Loved starts just there.
I have to say l really loved Devin, but I was an Ethan girl from the beginning, I fell hard for him.
So you can imagine the heartache I felt for him, after Alexa made her decision.
And then everything went south…

But in the end Alexa gets her HEA and so did I :D
Very cute ending!
After reading the Epilog, I guess we will get some more books.

Before starting this book I was warned I was going to need lots of tissues, well I was doing totally fine for about the first half and then BAM. So much happened that it was impossible not to shed some tears in the process. Do you guys know how hard it is trying to hold your emotions while you're surrounded by people?!? I had no idea how the story was going to end and I was super tempted to skip through it, but wow. T delivered with how this book ended and I am really happy with it despite all the emotional distress we were put through. I can't wait to read more of T's work.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy for a review! Where do I begin with this book?! It was absolutely perfect!! I wouldn't change one thing about this book.... You will come to feel this way. (; Alexa is back in this beautiful conclusion of Alexa Loved. She's happily in love with Devin and her life is getting to be where she is content. Alexa has had to go through things that no person wants to go through. Loosing her parents was the hardest thing that she had to go through, but with the help of Devin. And the mysteries Ethan, she made it through. She is now graduating and moving on with her life. Her and Devin are happily in love, when the alluring Ethan comes waltzing back in her life, like a man on fire. And he's not giving up on her.
Devin and Ethan are both the polar opposite characters, so you can't help but to love them both in their own way. But they both want Alexa to be happy. Devin, the soft, sweet, and loving character is crazy about her and has since they have been kids. Ethan, the sexy, rugged, and obsessive character wants her to belong to him. The love triangle is so well done but grueling at times!
After graduation Alexa and Devin, and a few friends decide to go away on a trip before starting college. But little did they know that this trip would change everything.
These characters go through many changes in this book and come out so much stronger. It's absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking. But so well written and a wild journey. I highly recommend this book. So grab the tissues and some chocolate, and get reading!

December 17, 2016Alexa Love does not fall under the sophomore book stigma. It’s a fast-paced, contemporary romance that will leave you breathless. Not only did the peace with her love Devin get interrupted by the return of Ethan there is something dark lurking in the mist.
T.R. Cupak weaves a dangerous and intriguing tale of a love triangle that has more complexities laced in between. Her characters stayed true to the well-developed style from book one, and I was indeed entertained.
Will the trio find the way and discover what menacing shadow looms over them?? You must read on, AND I recommend you read the first book before you dive into this one!!

WARNING: The ugly cries and tissues required for book 1 in this series, Alexa Crushed... double or maybe even triple them! OMG this is one unbelievably heart felt story. A love triangle which developed in a time of crisis, surrounded by death in book one, is put through it's toughest trials when a web of lies, secrets, murder and revenge come to the surface and threaten to destory everything.
Alexa Loved threw me for six, it was not the story I was expecting but within the first chapter I was hooked! T.R. Cupak writes chemistry and sexual tension so well, it rocked my world and left me reeling. The character development was truly impressive and the relationships forged between the characters were nothing short of amazing.
A fast, action packed read you definitely will want to read in one sitting. I absolutely recommend this series and I can't wait to see what T.R Cupak brings out next.

Let's start off with one word.. WOAH! I had to start AL as soon as I finished Crushed cause how could you not and if you thought book 1 was filled with emotions you better have a box of tissues by your side. Olivia is one whacked out woman without a doubt. Lexi still has the complications between herself with Ethan & Devin but the love these three share is unlike any other. We get a bit more of a taste as to who Sebastian is and I'm curious for more about him. This was beautifully written and you can once again feel that Cupak put her heart and soul into this book and their story as she had done with book 1. If I could give more then 5 stars I would. Highly recommend reading, no scratch the recommendation you MUST read this story. Cannot wait to read more from this woman. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Tears.....and more tears. I was not expecting where this story would go. An emotional roller coaster for sure. By midway through I knew I had to finish. I was torn trying to decide who to root for. In the end T.R. tied up loose ends but it was heart wrenching. I'll be looking for her next book. Well done!

I finished this book easily because I could not stop reading. I loved the complete roller coaster of emotions. I am glad I was able to pick this up on my nook...thank you T.R. Cupak for letting me know.
I loved all the characters, the twins were a particular favorite. How can you not love them? I was happy with the story and how it unfolded, even though I cried.!!!

Excellent and a mind blowing sequel!!!
I think it's hard sometimes to equal up when your first work of art is so well written. You have to find a way to piece it all together and give people more of what they loved without sinking yourself.
T.R. Cupak has done that and more.
Alexa is the sort of book series that has such a special and unique spark that it bonds you to the plot and characters. Book One was like falling in love but book two is learning what that love means.
The story behind these people- it's so beautifully constructed. Writing is a craft to this author because she offered up an intermingled, compelling and touching tale of three such individual souls!
Alexa: once again I find it easy to follow this girl's emotions and I applaud her for handling the tidal waves that life just continues to crash on her. She's not a typical twit with no empathy who happens to be pretty and stuck between two men. She's a compassionate bleeding heart who has no desire to see people she cares about hurt by her actions and in the midst of all the chaos she keeps strong to her morals.
This is not an easy choice she's stuck making here in book two, yet she acts in a mature and honest way that's true to the heart. She's an admirable character that I fell hard for in the first line of book one but in this second part, I absolutely adore her.

Ethan: what a wonderful example of character development. How difficult it is to cultivate a human with so many working emotions with only 200something pages to SHOW that development.
Ethan was the eldest in the threesome but the one with the most need for growth. His past is haunting and strangles his ability to have dreams and a future but by time the book ends he's found himself and blossoms the way only life lived can cause.
He is a perfect, lover, rival, friends, damaged hero and above all a hope. He was a treat to read and I will miss reading him as much as the other two!
Devin: Devin had my heart when we met him in book one. Something about me falls for the nostalgic love. The love that grows with time is epic because life usually beats the lights out of adults. If even just a friendship survives two years it's golden but a romantic love???? One that spans a decade and more? That's pure beauty.
Though Devin had his down falls in book one he more than makes up for it through his steady and unwavering loyalty. He's the man women are never really ready for or don't think they deserve. He's the champion on the white horse. He's the face of "I'm here for you"
Devin's role in this book blew me away because Cupak puts every single person, place and thing in a strategic spot so the magic can happen.
The side characters are also intriguing...AGAIN. They are so well written they could all carry their own book and that means someone did their job and well.
This story was breathtakingly sweet. It made me laugh, made me hurt, made me cry...hard...but isn't that what books are for? If you truly want to "feel" through the sights of three amazing people, then you will read this book and it's first part. This is so much more than a romance, it's a classic truth of what it is to have a heart and how to care for it.
I think it's hard sometimes to equal up when your first work of art is so well written. You have to find a way to piece it all together and give people more of what they loved without sinking yourself.
T.R. Cupak has done that and more.
Alexa is the sort of book series that has such a special and unique spark that it bonds you to the plot and characters. Book One was like falling in love but book two is learning what that love means.
The story behind these people- it's so beautifully constructed. Writing is a craft to this author because she offered up an intermingled, compelling and touching tale of three such individual souls!
Alexa: once again I find it easy to follow this girl's emotions and I applaud her for handling the tidal waves that life just continues to crash on her. She's not a typical twit with no empathy who happens to be pretty and stuck between two men. She's a compassionate bleeding heart who has no desire to see people she cares about hurt by her actions and in the midst of all the chaos she keeps strong to her morals.
This is not an easy choice she's stuck making here in book two, yet she acts in a mature and honest way that's true to the heart. She's an admirable character that I fell hard for in the first line of book one but in this second part, I absolutely adore her.

Alexa Loved is book two in the Alexa Series by T.R. Cupak. This is not a standalone novel and needs to follow the first book, Alexa Crushed because it is a continuation of the first novel. It’s told in alternating point of view by the three main characters Alexa, Devin, and Ethan with an epilogue by Sebastian who becomes a major character. All of the side characters have a huge role in this series too.
Although Alexa is on the verge of college, she’s still trying to put her life back in order after the sudden death of her parents. After Ethan up and leaves without so much as a goodbye, her ex best friend Devin who is in love with her, helps mend her broken heart.
“I won’t continue to make wrong decisions when it comes to Ethan and Devin.”
Ethan is the irresistible bad boy with the smoldering good looks. After disappearing without an explanation, he’s back and ready to explain why he left; and is determined to show Alexa why she needs him most.

If you like love triangles and suspense, then I would highly recommend Alexa Loved. I thought it was well written, had a dramatic flair, and I was definitely not expecting the last 75% of the book! You’ll sigh, you’ll gasp, and you’ll want to read so quickly to find out what happens. Every time you thought you had the story pinged, T.R. Cupak tossed another twist in there for you.
With an epilogue by the sexy and intriguing Sebastian, and the side characters playing such a huge role in the first two books, I’m definitely interested to see if there will be more books in this series and I’m wondering if Sebastian will get a story of his own now.

Alexa Loved picks up exactly where Alexa Crushed left off. I would highly recommend reading Alexa Crushed first before starting this book. This review may contain spoilers from Alexa Crushed.
This book was just as emotional as the first book. So many twists and turns, it keeps you on your toes!! This emotional rollercoaster ride TR Cupak takes you on is raw and heartbreaking. The author has a way of pulling you in and keeping you engaged. You will cry when Alexa cries, you will laugh when she laughs, and you will feel the love Alexa carries in her heart.
Graduation day. All Alexa wished was that her parents could see her now. After their tragic death months before, she still can't escape the sorrow or the nightmares. It was a bittersweet day when the earthquake hit. She finally gave her virginity to the man who has held her heart for 6 years only to be left broken when he disappeared with only a cryptic note on her pillow. Just when Alexa needed Ethan the most, he disappeared without a trace.
Lucky for her, Devin was there to pick up the pieces of her shattered heart and life. Her best friend left after he shared his love for her and she wasn't ready to accept it. The story Alexa Loved (Alexa Series Book 2) by T.R. Cupak is a contemporary/new adult/saga romance book. We start this second story in the Alexa series with Alexa and Devin together and they have just graduated high school. They are both looking to move forward with their lives. Then Ethan shows up right before Alexa is to join Devin in Miami setting off a whirlwind of emotions. This also sets up a dangerous situation that involves Olivia, Ethan’s malicious stepmother. Will Ethan convince Alexa that she is his and they are meant to be together? Just how far will Olivia go in to interfere in Alexa’s life and the lives of those she cares about?
This story starts off with a bang and just doesn’t let up until the ending page. Alexa’s life is upended by Ethan’s return and while she knows she loves Devin, she can’t help the way that Ethan makes her feel. This causes her to make some unwise decisions. Alexa has never felt so conflicted. Devin knows that Alexa is his whole world. He has since he met her. Now with Ethan’s return, this bring up feelings of anger and both Devin and Ethan can’t seem to control themselves from physically fighting when they are near each other. When first introduced to Ethan in book one I had the idea that he was just a bad-boy player that didn’t really care about anyone else but himself. That image changed quite a bit in this story. You find that Ethan’s life has been filled with tragedy and his stepmother is mentally unstable if not just plain evil. His character shows a lot of personal growth. There is another character that while introduced very briefly in the first book shows up to rescue Alexa and those near to her. His name is Sebastian. Not a lot of details are given regarding this mysterious stranger, however, Alexa puts her trust in him.
Filled with new revelations this book is a perfect follow up to Alexa Crushed. To fully understand all that is happening this series should be read in order. The author has a wonderful writing style and her characters jump off the page. I look forward to reading more of her books in the future. This story does include some dark, mature subject matter and adult situations. It would be for those 18 years of age or older.

This story picks up after graduation and Devin and Alexa are looking to get away on vacation until a stranger from the past looks like he is going to ruin that plan.
Evan has never fully forgiven his self for running away from Alexa on that night but he had to leave and save her from the pain that may come from him being with her. Evan has always been the bad boy, the player but has that all been a cover for a secret he has tried to hide for years. But with the threat out of the country he believes he can go back to Alexa and explain the reason for leaving.
As Evan watches Alexa at her graduation he pulls her to one side and asks if can explain why he left her all those many months ago. At first she shouts him down and tells him she wants nothing to do with him but she relents and once Devin and the twins are on the plane going to Miami she allows Evan to explain. Evans secret is devastating and Alexa cannot believe that this unbelievable torture had happened just next door and that the family looked normal from the outside.
Devin is shocked when he discovers that Evan is back and wonders why Alexa is keeping him secret but when she jumps on a plane and rushes to be with Devin, he wonders what her motives could be. Then Evan arrives following her and things get nasty and she is pushed and she injures herself, but has to spend sometime in the hospital, when she is feeling better she discovers that the boys are in a police cell. Once she recovers and is release she is subjected to being whisked away by her father’s friend Sebastian. Sebastian needs to keep her safe as trouble has followed them to Miami.
As the story goes along you get to see the story from all three of the main characters point of view and who will Alexa choose in the end, Devin the good, solid character she can trust or Evan the bad boy who has the passion in his body and the love in his heart for Alexa but will he break her heart again.
This is the second book I have read by this author and I really enjoyed the twists and turns in this story and it was a fitting end to the series.

She created characters that will pull at your heart strings and have you falling in love with all three. I highly suggest this story as I know you will want to see what happens at the end for these three.

It took her a while to move on, but soon, she and Devin feel into a nice routine, and he moved in with her. Things are going great, and they have plans to go to Miami on vacation, move into a new house, and go to college together. Until Ethan shows up at her graduation and reignites all the old feelings. Alexa is torn between Devin, who has been a life long best friend, and who she loves and has a future with, and Ethan, who she still has strange feelings for. She knows she should blow him off, but that is easier said than done.
Ethan showing up, triggers a quick downward spiral of events. I cant say what they all are, for fear of spoilers, but OMG! You must read! The book is filled with shocking events and discoveries. There is love, fights, crazy mothers, and surprises left and right. I loved this book, and series. They are packed full, and a for sure page turners. This book did have a lot of tragedy, and was a little sad, but I think the happy moments balance it out. I didnt like some of the decisions the author made, and some of the decisions Alexa made annoyed me. I understand she was dealt a bad hand, and lost her parents young, and was young herself, but some of the choices she made were pretty stupid. So I had a strong love hate relationship with her throughout the book. Overall, I really enjoyed it, and will read more by this author. . The ability to write such emotional scenes is a gift that the talented author T.R. Cupak has down. It wasn't just the heartwarming and loving scenes, it was the characters connections and how you will feel the love and the hurt as you read each page of this amazing story.
I really enjoyed this book!! It was a really intense, unusual type of love story! I did not want it to end and hope the amazing T.R Cupak writes more for these amazing characters.
Definitely recommend anyone looking for a exciting, unpredictable love story. make this a must read!

Alexa Loved by T.R. Cupak is book 2 in a series of 2 books. I love this book as much as I loved book #1 Alexa Crushed, it is necessary to read the first book because the story continues in this book. The story is told from multiple points of views, Alexa, Devin and Ethan. Alexa is the main character, Devin is the long time best friend of Alexa, and Ethan is the bad boy next door neighbor. I have become very invested in these characters and wanted to know what happen to them and who did Alexa end up with. The two new characters of Sebastian and Jeremy are a great addition to the story and added much needed support to Alexa.
This story picks up with Alexa very much in love with Devin. Ethan disappeared in the previous book and at the beginning of the story he is not involved with Alexa at all. Alexa and Devin are preparing for high school graduation and going to college. They are planning their future and everything is perfect.
Ethan shows up just as Alexa is ready to embark on her life with Devin. Devin is the man that has always been there for her. He was her best friend as a child, became her rock during tragedy, and became her future. Ethan is the one who disappeared after one night together. He left without a word and as far as Alexa knows he did not care enough to contact her.
Ethan is back to explain everything to Alexa and convince her to pick him. Devin knows Ethan is back but feels that Alexa will choose him. Alexa has a decision to make, Devin or Ethan. Will she make the decision or will choices made by others make her decision?
This story is so well written, as a reader I can’t help but feel for Alexa. The author did a great job creating these characters as I became involved in their choices and could feel the conflict within each character. So grab your tissues and be prepared to fall in love with all these characters.

Alexa Loved (Alexa #2) by T.R. Cupak
The second book in the Alexa Series by T.R. Cupak, Alexa Loved, is even better than the first book in the series and I give it 4 stars. This book picks up at Alexa Morgan’s high school graduation after her parents have died. Alexa plans to celebrate with her best friends, the twins Becca and Jessa, and her lifelong friend turned boyfriend, Devin, with a vacation to Florida. She then plans to move away and move on with her life by going to college and leaving the home she's lived in and the painful memories of her past.
Ethan, Alexa’s neighbor and first love, shows up at her graduation too, wanting to explain the reason he took off after their short passionate time together, as well as to profess his love and win back Alexa. This story follows Alexa as she tries to figure out if she wants the stable, dependable, unwavering love of Devin or the more fiery, volatile, chemistry filled passion of Ethan, while also exposing Ethan's stepmom Olivia as the real threat she is to everyone and her impact on many things that have happened over the years.
This book seemed to come into its own more than book #1 in the series. Book #1 was a little slow and misguided, being a YA romance with adult content thrown in that sometimes didn't fit the actions, thoughts, and conversations of the characters age and maturity level for it to flow smoothly. The author seemed to add more adventure and suspense to this book with the explanation of Ethan's childhood experiences, the telling of what happened with his brother, and the overall exploration of his evil and dangerous stepmother Olivia. The steamy, sexy, passionate moments included in this story seemed to fit more appropriately into the flow of this book than the first. This storyline continued into adulthood for the characters and explored heartache and more mature emotions. This seemed to be where the author expressed herself the best. This story had me getting very emotional toward the end, with Devin’s parents, as well as Jer and Sebastian, playing bigger roles in what was happening.The addition of DJ was well-written. I definitely found myself getting more emotionally involved in the way the writer explored Alexa’s adulthood experiences and this was where the author showed her strengths. I even found myself upset while reading and had to wipe some tears away. I would recommend this series, and especially this book, to those that enjoy romance and drama with a little action and danger mixed in as the author seems to be finding her way much better in Alexa Loved. There are still unanswered questions regarding the micro SD card that I think the author could've easily included in this storyline, but things came together well overall.

T.R. Cupak’s Alexa Loved is the stunning and absolutely mind-blowing conclusion to Alexa Crushed in the two book Alexa series. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the first book, but this second one exceeds all expectations I had prior to reading and took me on an emotionally fueled night of binge reading this compelling story!!
You absolutely must read the first book in the series prior to reading this book. If you don’t, you will be missing very important back history of the three main characters: Alexa, Devin and Ethan. I honestly cannot give this book enough justice in a review without giving away too much of the actual story – it’s just that good!!
Alexa grows in this story, but still has her flaws – as does any well written and complex character. Her character grew in the previous story, but continues to grow in this sequel. A woman who has two men vying for her attention, her affection, her love - only one can hold that for her, the question becomes who will that be?
Devin has stood beside Alexa as a true friend, a soul mate, a confidante, her saving grace. He is amazing and just purely wonderful. He’s everything someone should and does want. My heart pulls for him at times, both in the previous book, as well as this one. He’s the type of man you could see forever with.
Ethan is the character I just wanted to hate, but at times, I just couldn’t. There was something about him that I didn’t want to deny was desirable. He does have some redeeming qualities, but are they enough to be something that is worthwhile?
T. R. Cupak broke my heart in this series, while repairing it and then knocking my world off its axis! The second book was not what I anticipated after reading the first and reading the synopsis of the second – but it is truly a beautifully written story that will pull at every one of your heartstrings. Stunning!!

Alexa Loved begins where Book 1 ended. However, Alexa has a dilemma. She has made her choice and is moving forward in her relationship with Devin. She loves him. Then, after an absence of eight months Ethan returns. He acts as though she is his and he doesn’t like the fact that he has seen her with Devin. To her disappointment her body continues to react to Ethan in such a way that she finds it hard to resist him. Ultimately Devin feels betrayed and Ethan feels betrayed as Alexa struggles to follow her heartfelt love for Devin rather than her lust for Ethan. Neither boy wants to give up the fight for the girl they love. Who will win?
Alexa puts in a call for help to Viper (Sebastian Bentley – her father’s friend). It is Viper who alerts her to the danger she is in through her relationship with Ethan. Viper gives her a ‘bodyguard’ called Jeremy, who is fiercely protective of her and will do anything to keep her safe. This includes stepping between the warring Devin and Ethan who continue to fight for Alexa – physically. Alexa trusts Viper because her father put her in touch with him. She begins to find out more about Viper and realises his relationship with her father was perhaps more complicated than an ordinary friendship. What and who exactly is he? Events also lead her to question the deaths of her parents – was it an accident or were they murdered?
Ethan’s secret is uncovered which makes her more determined to help him. Can he be helped? Can she be saved? Is this the only danger she is in or is there more to it because of the SD card her father asked her to hide?
As events spiral out of control tragedy strikes again for Alexa. Can she cope or will this latest tragedy cost her, her will to live? Or will it make her stronger than ever?
Another fast paced read from T Cupak and again I couldn’t put it down. So many things happen to Alexa in this book. I couldn’t go through them all without giving secrets away and spoiling the book. That said all the events are consistent and in line with things and characters already in place. They just add more depth and detail to the plot. You hope against hope that Alexa finds the courage to follow her heart and not her lust. Having said that, the main three characters evolve and change as they grow to become more mature and better people. Devin is certainly someone to aspire to. The extra characters this story brings in are again well developed, realistic and complex. T Cupak knows how to engage your emotions so that you are smiling, feeling happy, anxious, fearful and devastated at various events in the book. There are a few twists you might not see coming and you will definitely need tissues.

This book is book two in the Alexa series and to really understand and enjoy the book you will definitely need to read the first book in the series. With that said it picks up right where we left off in the previous book. Alexa is graduating from high school and getting her life back on track after the devastating loss of her parents just some months ago. She has clarified her relationship and set her heart of pursuing a fresh start at Stanford with her boyfriend and best friend, Devin. That is until now. The neighbor that she thought she wanted and liked, Ethan, left her alone and disappeared for almost a year. She has moved on past that but Ethan is pretty sure he still has reasons justified to fight for her when he returns home. He is determined to have her as his forever. “This isn’t over Alexa. We aren’t over. You will make time to listen to what I have to say. I suggest you do it soon. My patience is spent and I will not wait any longer to have you out of Devin’s arms and back into mine.” The problem is his secrets with his family and his past are about to destroy everything Alexa has built for a new life, again. Devin doesn’t back down and fights for the love of his life, no matter what amount of danger it will put him in. “I love you too Lexi, but if we’re being honest and laying it all out here I have to tell you that I don’t want to be your first or second choice. I want to be your only choice. I’m not going to keep fighting him to keep you if I’m not who you want with one hundred percent of your heart because, baby, you have one hundred percent of my heart.” There are a lot of plot twists that kept me on the edge of my seat and had me up till the late hours of the night because I had to know what happened till the very last page was read. I cannot wait for more of Alexa, and more of her ‘family’ that she manages to create out of all the disasters that fall on her.
