Correctional Manipulation

Rate this book
This book is a quick read and uses certain theories from Social Psychology to explain certain behaviors in the correctional environment, including manipulation and conformity. This book is different than most books on inmate manipulation because it focuses on the situation and also provides a great explanation as to why the tactics employed work.

Decent read for new officers

This is a good summary of psychological tactics of inmates for newer officers. It has some good scenarios and can help remind you to be alert to obvious and not so obvious things inmates do.
