Wicked Villain is the first book in the Blood and Broken Vows series. Allegra has always been used as a pawn in her father’s games to make more money and have more power. The only reason she stays is for her mother who is extremely sick. Her father has taken over her mother‘s company and all the money that is paying for her treatment. Unfortunately there is no cure so they need him. Her mother is all she has. Allegra is celebrating her engagement party to a despicable man her father has forced her to marry. She doesn’t want to marry him, but she knows what to expect. She knows her father will hold her mother’s health over her head if she doesn’t obey. What she’s not counting on is the Pakhan, Lev Karsavin walking in on her engagement party like he owns the place. She thinks he’s there to kill her father. Instead he shoots her fiancé and sadly takes her to his home. Allegra doesn’t know what to do. The only thing she knows is that she must keep the secret she holds inside. She doesn’t know what would happen if anyone found out.
Lev Karsavin is the Pakhan. He is cold, cruel and ruthless. He, along with his brothers has been out for revenge for years. He’s been looking for any man connected to who is responsible for his family’s tragedy. When he finds him, he is hosting an engagement party for his daughter, his one and only heir. Lev says this is an opportunity because he knows this man only cares about power, money, and his reputation. So he forces him to give up his empire, his wife’s company, and all his money along with his daughter. He sees her as a means to an end. He wants to punish her father. Since he believes her father loves her, he forces her to marry him. She doesn’t easily accept, so he holds her mother’s treatment over her head in order for her to accept the marriage. The longer he gets to know her, the more he wants her. However he suspects she’s hiding something. By the time he finds out what, it’s already too late.
Faith Summers had me so emotional with this one. It was a nonstop fast-paced action story that had me on the edge of my seat. I felt so bad for Allegra having to hide who she was all this time. It’s like she wasn’t even herself and she was playing a role. I also felt bad for Lev. He is the way he is because of his tragic past. He’s never felt a moment of peace or happiness until his wife. Even then he didn’t know how to treat her, he still tried. I loved their chemistry. I loved his relationship with his brothers, although distant they always knew they were loved. I love the friendship between the girls. I loved how feisty Allegra was and how she stood up to Lev every time. This was definitely an emotional roller coaster. It was filled with drama, heat, danger, humor, action, suspense, secrets, lies, betrayal, and heartbreaking twists. I am so excited to know more about his family. I cannot wait for the next book.

5 “Malyshka” Stars!!
What a fantastic read! I loved everything about this book and then some!
Lev is the perfect Pakhan. He ruthless, cutthroat and unhinged. But the other side of him that few only see is warm, thoughtful, kind and yes loving. Who got to see that side of him, of course his beautiful “wife” Allegra 🥰. Oh our heroine brought our wicked villain to his knees 😍. Watching these two break down their walls was just swoon worthy and beautiful. I fell in love with both of them. Revenge and hate may have brought them together but when they led with their hearts, love blossom into their lives. Lev said he would fight her monsters and boy did he. I was especially glad when Allegra’s evil father met his hellish demise. What an awful man. The things he did and said to his daughter was despicable🤬. Wicked Villain was an unputdownable read that I highly recommend to all!! My only advice is to buckle in and get comfortable and prepare for the best emotional experience of your life. You won’t regret it and by the end, you’ll have the biggest smile on your face 😁🥰🤗!!! This one definitely gets two BIG thumbs up from me!!!!

This intriguing story has compelling characters that I loved digging into. Allegra is forced to marry a man because of her father, but it is all thwarted wen Lev comes in takes out the intended man and takes everything from her father leaving her mother in jeopardy of dying without lev paying for her treatments. Allegra has no choice but to sign over her life in spite of the secret she is carrying. The story drew me in, and Allegra's situation is heartfelt and the emotional challenges had me connecting and cheering for her to find a path to happiness.

Allegra is a pawn to ber fathers schemes, he holds her ill mothers health care over her, when he arranges her marriage and puts on an engagement party she doesnt expect Lev to storm the party shoot her fiance and take her! Lev is outbfor revenge and when he learns the man hes after is hosting a party, he decides to do more than crash it! Well written engaging steamy desires captive, revenge, action and more
