I really have fell in love with this series. I love each of the characters and how the author writes each them in the first person, so you know what each of their deepest feelings are.

The plot revolves around Keeley Saunders who we met in book one. Keeley has moved on from the job she had with Night Movers and now works for the gorgeous Russian billionaire vampire Gregor (please let it be his book next! Dribble!). She falls in love and things seem to be going great until she is attacked and life as she knows it changes overnight. Suddenly love motherhood and everything else seems so far out of her reach.
I feel like this story was so well written, and it had wonderful plot twists that I really didn’t see coming.

I thought the relationship that Josh had with little Daisy was adorable, and I fell in love with him a little bit more because of it.
A bonus to this book was that we also got a HEA for Freya, which I was thrilled about.

Hope we don’t have to wait too long for book three. Hint hint!

Often the second book in a series can be disappointing after the initial book in the series blows you away, but this did not happen when I read Blood & Secrets, the second book in The Night Movers series. I was in my happy place from the very first page.

Not only did I have a new vampire romance to read, I got to know two characters intimately as well as “meet” new characters to fall in love (or hate) with. It also opened up endless opportunities for new books that haven’t been published yet. Yes, Helen, that’s a hint.

I love the world Helen Bright has created and I’m looking forward to exploring more of this world. Did I love it more than the first book? I don’t know, but since I couldn’t give more than 5 stars for the first book or this one, I’ll have to limit my rating to 5 stars.

This is the second book in the Night Movers Series by Helen Bright & as much as I've seen reviews saying this can be read as a standalone personally l disagree. I think you need to have read book 1 first because certain events in this book continue from book 1 as do the characters.

The focus this time is predominately on Keeley & Josh, although Freya & Daniel sneak in later in the book. Keeley has worked for Night Movers for a while but for the past 5 months she has been Gregor's PA. Keeley knows about the owner's of Night Movers being vampires as is Gregor, it doesn't bother her, she enjoys her work & see's them as her friends too.

Josh had taken Keeley & her daughter back home to her fathers house, only to find her father drunk. With a little help from Josh, Keeley's dad agrees to get help from the doctor. Josh, Keeley & Daisy head back to Josh's place.

Over the course of time things between Josh & Keeley change. Can they both accept the changes & the secrets that are uncovered?

Again I found Blood & Secrets to be captivating. I was pulled head first back into the world of The Night Movers Vampires, I was there alongside each & everyone of them vampire or human. It was good to see that Keeley, Daisy & Josh were eventually getting some happiness & good luck.

Helen has written another compelling story that will wrap it's fingers around your heart & mind. The character's that we already know (from book 1) are even more loveable; they show more progression as they demonstrate different aspects of their individual personalities & more emotion. The new character's that we are introduced to soon earn their place in your heart along with everyone else & they integrate into the group without too many issues but in a way that is believable.

The writing has continued to be descriptive & informative but in such away that you can't help but keep reading to find out more. The pace is good & flows naturally, it captures your attention & holds it throughout. I found it easy to follow & was surprised by the twists that Helen has included.

To me this was great addition to a series that has started with such promise. I for one am really looking forward to reading book 3.

Loved the second Night Movers book! It had all the vampire drama and sexiness I've come to expect from the series, but the addition of little Daisy, as well as the revelations about Freya's past really pumped up the angst. Nothing like a little girl to complicate a vampire romance. The scenes between Josh and Daisy were hilarious. I loved Keeley, who was a strong, yet vulnerable heroine (we're all vulnerable with regards to children, aren't we?). Freya's story was heart-wrenching and her HEA was a thrilling surprise. The best part of the book, however, was Gregor, the vampire leader. I'm really looking forward to his book.

Loved this book

This book was great can't wait to read the next one. This book was great from start to finish. This book has love, laughter, fun and great sex without trash. I loved the story line, the heroine is fun, beautiful and strong. I love she is a mom, strong, protective and loyal. I liked how a horrible incident became a positive. The men are rich but not arrogant, humble yet still learning their way with the women who love them. Definitely a must read.

I read the first book and had to get the second. It did not disappoint! Full of vampire drama, love, and incredible steamy sex, with thrills of suspense thrown in. A cast of wonderful characters. Gregor is so sexy! Not one to give out spoilers, as others have fleshed it out quite well, I can only say I highly recommend and give author Helen Bright 5 stars!!

I was given a copy in return for an honest review

I enjoyed this book just as much as the first if not more! I actually liked how she showed multiple POV's & how there ended up being more than one story in this book. I loved Keely, Daisy, & Josh's story & I loved how she showed you more of Freya & Dan. I would recommend this book.

Continuing the story of the first book in the series, we are reintroduced to characters, and their stories are twined around our hearts. I laughed and I admit that I cried, but most of all, I felt that these characters became my friends.

This is a great follow up to the first in the Night Movers series, My Love Forever. A good read on so many levels. It's got relentless pacing, unforgettable characters and a great plot.

While I am still angry about the speed of how quickly these characters seem to dive in to these romances headfirst from being a normal every day human to promising their souls to these vampires in a matter of one good d*cking session… that’s what I’m calling it because I’m mad… too bad.

The storyline is creative and I do like the writing from the multiple POVs in each book. I like to see how many of the characters views fit in to the storyline and how they all fit together.

This was a story that was more than Keely and Josh but expanded on nik and Gina and some of the reasons behind the Russian friends that appeared in the last book.

While reading this book it took a bit of time but I was able to predict the Keely and dan situation… at first it weirded me out because I was like “ew are dan and Freya siblings?” And then I remembered the twisted info from alex and Julia’s book. Phew… that would have been weird.

While I’m still mad about the rush of the emotions and I feel that the author addresses a lot of the issues of “rush commitments and short relationships / courting” she still pushes through the FMCs comfort levels to justify running back in to the arms of the MMCs… and while we all like a HAE… it just feels like there’s depth to the characters beyond “good sex and that’s the rest is just whatever” and it is really pushing my limits of enjoying the book / series as a whole.

While there is a good plot… and fun characters, and lots of steamy scenes… I think it could be a bit more enjoyable with some growth to the characters and their relationships.

After all… don’t we enjoy seeing them go from he saw her across the room to chased her down to fought for her love to the fun and trouble of dating and getting to know one another to finally the HAE… not moving in and engaged by chapter 4?

I don’t know what to say about this book that I didn’t already say about book one. The story was different, but it was still painfully obvious what was going to happen long before it actually did. Then I had to read about how obtuse and inept the characters were before they finally realised what had been blatantly obvious from the start. All the way through, all I could hear in my head was my creative writing professor repeating “SHOW what’s happening, don’t just tell” because the author is a big fan of the opposite.

Still, decent story, poorly told. I like the characters, so I’m going to plough ahead with book three. I doubt I’ll make it to book four though. I don’t even know if I’ll be able to finish book three.

Not as entertaining as book one.
We get two couples getting HEA’s but with an interesting twist which goes back to something that happened in book one.
Sorry to say it was too easy to know who had helped Maxim.
Once again I enjoyed this book but found there to be too much triviality in it. This throws the pace off for me as something important is happening but we are reading descriptive dross.
I don’t want to read about driving on certain roads or eating fish and chips from a certain place.
I want the meat of the story, not the butter on the bread.
I will probably read the next book but not for a while. Will be switching to a stronger vampire series.

The love story between Keeley and Josh is very sexy and well described. The way Josh looks after both Keeley and her daughter is so heart warming. I won’t spoil it for anyone who hasn’t yet read this story, but there was one heart stopping moment which had me on the edge of my seat. I also love how we learn more about the other characters in the Night Movers world. It has the read hooked and enthralled waiting for the next book.

I loved this second book just as much as the first one! I love that you get different p.o.v.s again. This one had a few more surprises than the first book. I love little Daisy! She is the light in this book. Each book in this series can be read as a stand alone, however, it's better to read them in order. I seriously can't wait to get my hands on the rest of the series. The bond between everyone is huge and so much fun to read! Grab this whole series and get ready for a crazy ride!

Great Follow On. ** NO SPOILERS **

Ok so aspects of the plot were visible from space but despite that it was still very well written and very definitely worth reading.

A fresh look at vampires!

Next up is the lovely Gregor Antonov, I’m sure it’ll all be good if he can drag his mind and attitude towards women forward a couple of centuries.

I want a vampire like these

Tall, dark, handsome, rich, kind, sexy , loving who wouldn’t want Josh, the other vampires are similar , wouldn’t be into the type of sexual needs of Gregor despite the fact that he has all the other qualities of Josh, hope in future books it has Sergei finding love

Secrets in blood

This second book was just as good as the first. This book focused on Josh & Keeley but still all the others from the first book and I still love them all. The stories these books tell are just as great as the characters.

A Mothers Love

What a great story with much upheaval in Keeley’s life. Of course the roller coaster that she’d been on with having a child and the ex who didn’t want the child adds to her drama. Of course her up and down relationship with Josh got everyone crazy.
