Intense
One minute Callum is saying go away and the next he says I can't stay away. It messes with her mind. You can feel his fight, so you feel for him even though you think he is a jerk. I enjoyed this book, but like I have said before, if it was not included in kindle unlimited, I would not have read it. I refuse to pay money for a book this small in length. The author should wait until she has three or more written and put them together to sell, if she wants people to buy them. She is a talented writer, but paying money for this short of a book, is asking too much.

I greatly enjoyed books one and two in this series; however, I was disappointed with this book. Adriana is too weak for my tastes. Callum hasn't done anything to warrant all the affection she has for him. I actually wanted to reach into the book and slap her. And the flipping back and forth that Callum is doing about his feelings for Adriana is nauseating. I think I will end my reading of this series here.

OMG! Because He Torments Me is the third book in the seductive new serial, Because He Owns Me, by Hannah Ford and may I just say - WOW! Like really, really WOW! Please be aware, as I stated previously, this is a ongoing serial and there will be multiple installments. If you haven't read Books One and Two of the series, PLEASE STOP HERE. I began reading Ford's work a few months ago when I discovered her What He Wants Series. She seems to specialize in serialized multi-installment novels with each release being the equivalent of one or two chapters totaling 35 to 50 pages each. I find that I actually enjoy this concept very much as long as the books are released weekly or bi-monthly and hers generally are. Each book is a short quick read and perfect for what I like to call a palette cleanser - something to stop sensory overload, relax my mind and enjoy in between heavy, full-length novels. Ms Ford is exceptionally talented in crafting realistic stories with complex characters and suspenseful plot twists. She also excels at maintaining the momentum of the story throughout the entire book without having to use empty filler dialogue to pace the continuation of the plot. If it's there, you better believe it means something and will be important to the story at some point. She has quickly become one of my favorite authors. The story is exciting, enchanting, romantic, seductive and arousing. The narrative is exceptionally well written in the first person with alternating his and her points of view although the main pov seems to come from Adriana aka "Lemon", the female lead of the story. The dialogue is smart, snappy, raw and compelling. The characters are captivating, complex, engaging, intriguing and sexy as sin. Ford skillfully crafts these elements into an enticingly sweet cocktail of adult romance with a dash of mystery, suspense and a very erotic twist of BDSM. Hubba! Hubba! Absolutely exquisite! Ford keeps us guessing and on our toes - again!
Book One: This story features recent college graduate Adriana O'Connor who has recently moved from Michigan to New York City to find a job, hopefully in a publishing house and start her new life. Although not unfamiliar with the ways of the world, she is quite naive. And apparently, she is also quite submissive as is quickly discovered by handsome, charismatic billionaire Callum Wilder, CEO and Founder of Wilder Holdings, LLC. Adriana has agreed to meet Nathan, whom she met on a dating app, for a blind date at Whipped, a club located in Midtown Manhattan. Nathan is a no-show and leaves the lovely Adriana waiting alone. Adriana is totally unaware that whipped is a BDSM Light Club and is caught totally off guard when she catches the eye of someone else... someone dark, handsome and much more experienced...someone who wants to dominate and own her...for only one night. It was only supposed to be one night with a billionaire, but will one night be enough?
Good read, story gets interesting as you go on. Would recommend for a quick read. can't wait to see how the story progresses. Very well written. I just think the author makes these too short, but they are good and keep you wanting more.

Finally.....I have been searching for a book that resembles 5o shades of Grey. Its hot! Its crazy! Its steamy as hell. I was so dang happy I found this book.

WOW! I really like the series of Because He Owns Me, and the momentum and characters of the story keep you wanting to read more; but I think Hannah Ford makes these stories too short. I started reading this series because I received Book 4 through ARC, and I bought Books 1-3 (Kindle Unlimited) so that I could start from the beginning to find out how Callum and Adriana met. Although Hannah is an exceptionally talented writer in creating realistic stories and plots that interlace with suspense, she also keeps you enthralled with the characters and without using any filler dialogue. The characters of Callum and Adriana have strong feelings for each other and they cannot stay away from each other, and this is a problem for Callum because he cannot surrender control. Although Callum cannot commit to Adriana, he is becomes very jealous when he sees other men talking to Adriana. I cannot wait to read Book 5 continuation of Callum and Adriana.

Love your characters in this story. It definitely keeps you waiting to see what happens next. Great love story with some steamy romance. My only problem is that it seems to of been awhile since the last volume release. I hate being left hanging in the middle of a series. Especially one as good as this one.

Stalkerish
Book three was fun. Quite a turnaround, this billionaire says no stay away, we can not be together, and then follows the heroine like a stalker. This guy is so hot and cold it is hard to keep up with. His head and his heart certainly are not on the same page. It will be interesting to read more about Callium.
