*****FIVE OUT OF THIS WORLD HOT STARS*****
I read this entire series two years ago when it was released under Kate Stewart's other pen name, Angelica Chase! It is to this day, my favorite Erotica series! Never have I been torn between two leading men! I simply couldn't choose between the two until I got to almost the end of the last book.
Now Kate has re-released this series but under her real name and also she's combined them all into one book! You simply must check this one out and it's currently at the bargain price of 99 cents!
I'm going to paste below my original reviews on all three books.
OPULENCE (Book One)

This is the second series that I've been lucky enough to receive as an ARC from Angelica Chase and I honestly think this woman knows how to write truly decadently steamy reads!! OMG, someone hose me down with ice cold water because I just read one of the sexiest stories ever. This is surely going to make your panties melt right off ladies!!
Nina Scott became a self made millionaire when she developed a very successful fitness/weight loss program. She doesn't seem to have much luck in the love department. Her ex husband turned out to be an adulterer and the man she fell in love with afterwards, failed to mention that he was married.
The story begins with some pretty steamy bathroom sex. Even though we learn early on that Devin is Nina's ex-boyfriend, who also happens to be married, I still couldn't help but develop a little bit of a crush on him. This guy is the epitome of the sexy and controlling bad boy!
Later on Nina meets another gorgeous and sexy man at a bar on the beach. Who seriously has this kind of luck anyway!!???? Aiden is the owner of the bar, and he also happens to be the lead singer of a local band. One of my favorite types of book boyfriends are the rock gods!! So I instantly forgot all about Devin once Aiden came into the picture. The man knows how to heat things up in the bedroom, and in umm, ALLEY WAYS!! HOLY SHIT, I'm still thinking about that last scene!! WOWZERS!!
There is definitely something fishy going on with Devin. He used to handle Nina's investments and something seems very shady about a certain real estate deal. But in the back of my mind I kept thinking maybe there is more to Devin than what has been revealed so far to us. Maybe he's not a complete douche bag. While I was falling hard for Aiden, I had some concerns about the fact that he seemed TOO PERFECT. He's not very forthcoming with details about himself which leads me to believe he's got some serious skeletons in his closet.
This one ends with some shocking news. Not a crazy cliffy, but still, I never even saw that coming!! It will be interesting to see which man turns out to be the right guy for Nina. I know who I want her to end up with!! I am assuming that this is going to be a love triangle but I honestly didn't get that vibe from this first installment. There was clearly one guy that Nina was favoring but after that bomb was dropped at the end, I'm thinking things are going to get majorly complicated in book two.
Oh and we get reunited with some characters from "The Sexual Awakenings" series too!! :)
REVERENCE (Book Two)

The whore in me celebrated my luck in finding two men capable of sating my appetite.
Well book two packed a punch in the STEAM department!! This was Erotica at its BEST!!!! I was 100% TEAM AIDEN in book one, but now after having read this, I'm seeing Devin in a different light. I honestly can't decide between them, and neither can Nina it seems.
In "Opulence" we were only given little bits of Devin through Nina's POV and we were missing quite a bit of information on him. In "Reverence", we get alternating chapters in Devin's POV, and so we see what was really going on in his mind during the beginning of their relationship and where his heart has always been since the very first day he met Nina. I see Devin as a potential threat to Nina's new relationship with sexy Aiden!!
The sex in this one goes beyond panty melting HOT!! Honestly I'm thinking Nina's vagina should be out of commission for at least a month after the insanely wild and rough sex she was having with Aiden. I loved getting to see the DOMINANT side of Aiden and Nina was enjoying every dirty thing he was doing to her body. At one point there is even a bit of breath play and I think Nina is just a bit fucked up to be enjoying something like that being that she had never done it before and also since she hardly knows Aiden. That's a huge amount of trust to place on someone you just met!!!
It appears Nina is a nympho because she seems to be horny 24/7, and she's not looking for true love at the moment. Aiden confesses he definitely doesn't want to have a serious relationship. He's in this thing with Nina while they're still having fun, however long that may be. That kind of put a little damper on my feelings for him. I am hoping it's all an act on his part to protect his heart from being broken.
At the end of book one, Nina got some shocking news when she learned what Aiden's last name was. In this one she's trying to dig into his past and we learn some interesting things. There's a big confrontation towards the end of the book and let's just say I was shocked during the last scene!!
I love both of these men and I honestly can't decide which team to stay on, so for now, I think I'll just be on both teams. I can't wait to see which man Nina ends up with in the final book. I'd love it if somehow she could have them both.
Here's to hoping book three will provide us with Aiden's POV!! Maybe it will help me to choose between these two delicious men!!
HINDRANCE (Book Three)

What an AMAZING conclusion to a FABULOUS series!!!!
I honestly can say every book just got better and better! NO LIE!!
I thought Angelica Chase's "Sexual Awakenings" series was pretty fantastic but this one knocks it on its' ass!!!
Now I don't want to go into detail because if I say too much, I'll end up spoiling this and I really wouldn't want to ruin the experience for anyone. All I can say is that this last installment had some incredibly HOT HOT HOT scenes!! This author knows how to write good sex and she succeeds in creating some delicious alpha males that you can't help falling in love with!!
We will learn all the secrets that both men have been keeping from Nina and let's just say that they both were pretending to be someone they clearly were not!!
I had hoped that she could ride off into the sunset with both men, but I feel that she is with the one man who truly loves her!!
FABULOUS SERIES!!!!
Definitely pick this one up!

Kate Stewart writes outside of the box with Excess. This book is not your average romance. I love not knowing if I’m supposed to love a character or not. About not knowing whats going to happen. In a romance genre with so many predictable stories, it’s such a refreshing change.
Nina is a heroine who is fed up with the way her life is. Things have changed for her when she made her fortune, and not all these changes have been good. Devin McIntyre is the man who Nina fell for. She wanted him. She needed. him. She fell in love with him.
Things with Devin were not as they seemed. Nina is making some major changes in her life, and cutting Devin out is on the top of that list. Devin is the guy you aren’t supposed to like, but by the very end of the story I had questions about him… and I’m not so sure he’s as bad as I thought.
While trying to figure herself out, Nina meets a handsome stranger on the beach. Then again, this same stranger shows up at the bar she visits. He’s singing, but he also owns the bar. His voice, his look, everything about him draws him to Nina. Aiden is something else. Something special. She’s not sure if she’s ready to show him the real Nina, but she is trying to give things a go with this man.
Both of these men are a little on the mysterious side.
Nina is a character who wasn’t easy for me to connect to in the first novella. In this story she seemed much more relatable and likable to me. It made all the difference.
This book isn’t only steamy and sexy, it’s also very well written and there is something going on that is leaving you guessing and wanting more. There is a bit of mystery, some secrets you know are being kept.
It’s unexpected, a bit shocking and very bold. I’m still a bit stunned with the way things went down. This is a book I would highly recommend if you are looking for something super high on the steam and something with some mystery, twists and turns!

Holy cow!!!! I went into this reading two reviews and knew it would be intense, but wow......
This book is broken into three parts (previously 3 short novels) all rolled into one delicious book. We are first introduced to Nina Scott. An emotionally messed up woman that struck it rich by building a multimillion dollar business, she falls in love with the wrong man, right?? She is independent and building her life, seemingly all by herself. She leaves one emotional mess to gain another. My heart hurt for her. I wanted nothing more than for her to find her happiness with the right person. But damn she made me want to bang my damn head at how she didn't question ANYTHING!!!
Devin McIntyre is hot. He's handsome and he knows it. He has everything he has ever wanted, so we think. Without giving plots and twists and anything else away just know my emotions for his man ran from holy fuck, to holy asshole, to holy get me this man now...... like right NOW!!!
Aiden McIntyre, this guy was dripping sexiness from the moment he entered the story. I liked him. I loved his patience, I adored his playfulness, I really disliked how he seemed so secretive. Damn secrets never get you anywhere.....
I think it ended perfectly, the way it was suppose to end. It was a crazy, but good journey for me!!💗💗

Review @ Vanilla & Spice Books
My thoughts and feelings are a bit jumbled after finishing this story so I hope my review will be somewhat coherent. I am not going to summarize the plot. The synopsis is fairly self-explanatory.
This book was previously released as a series of novellas and when you start reading you get a lot of Nina's POV. Being the scorned woman that she is she doesn't make Devin look very good and you wonder how you will be able to root for a hero who cheats on his wife and betrays his mistress too. But of course not everything is as easy and clear-cut as it seems.
As you move through the story you get to see Devin's POV. While some things become clearer others get more ambiguous. While Nina is reeling from the betrayal she meets a man who is just as beautiful as Devin and he seems perfect for her.
Aiden is sweet with her, fulfills all her filthiest fantasies and gives her a run for her money. But there is also a volatile and overly possessive side about him. At first I totally rooted for Aiden but as read on I didn't know what and who to believe anymore. I had a feeling that he was too good to be true.
Devin is as filthy as they come. He knows he messed up and hurt Nina terribly but he is also full of remorse and it's easy to forgive him when you know why he did it. Devin is protective of Nina and covets her but he can only do so much when she doesn't want anything to do with him anymore. And his wife? A piece of work, I tell ya. The way he played her, retaliated and turned the game around was awe-inspiring! I loved it and him in the end!
Yeah, I'm full of classic quotes today.
Nina is an independent, strong woman. She is divorced and no stranger to being cheated on. When she entered a relationship with Devin she didn't know that he was married. Nina has an incredibly generous side about her, she is sad quite often and she doesn't have many friends. She never found her place in society and after the scandal with Devin his wife made her a social pariah. Nina sometimes lies but she is honest where it counts. She reflects on herself and is brutally honest in her judgement. I loved her although her mood swings gave me a bit whiplash.
This story is so full of filthy, unconventional sex. All the characters have rather dark desires and Nina doesn't mind a little bit humiliation. While this usually doesn't work for me it did this time because outside of the bedroom she was a strong character.
When all things were uncovered my jaw dropped. While I did have a feeling that one character in particular didn't show their hand in the game I was not prepared how devious they really were. The story itself kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn't wait to get home and continue reading. I have become a huge fan of Kate Stewart and this book only cemented why.

I read Excess two years ago when it was released as a series of three books and now that I've read it again I'm even more crazy about this story and in awe of Kate Stewart's talent. She's able to write whatever she sets her mind to and make it damn intriguing and addictive. Whether it's romcom, angsty romance or suspenseful erotica with an edge. Stewart succeeds every time.

Her relationships with Devin and Aiden are freaking intoxicating. I had my favorite of the two men when I read the story but what her both relationships have in common is intense and hot as hell chemistry with deliciously erotic and dirty sex to boot.
This story is so much more than sex. I enjoyed Nina's journey. How she got herself to the top of the "food chain" and now is battling it out with the top sharks. Her relationships with Devin and Aiden are different and secrets are definitely a part of both of them. This love triangle started out as just sex but became so much more.
Excess is deliciously twisted in the best possible way. I was surprised and also a little disgusted throughout this story and I had no idea how it would end. Kate Stewart executes this genre to perfection. Her prose is flawless and on point. Dark and edgy. She mixes erotica, suspense and romance effortlessly which made this story more intense and well developed.
I need more stories from Stewart in this genre. In fact I crave it.

Excess consists of three novellas that Kate Stewart wrote under another pen name, Angelica Chase. I believe this is my first Angelica Chase book and even though it is classified as erotica, I love Kate Stewart's books so much that I was willing to give it a try. Oh, it's also Romantic Suspense but I'll get to that later.
I'm going to talk about the story as it is broken up into three parts: Opulence #1, Reverence #2 and Hindrance #3. The stories blend together seamlessly but the first two end with a cliffhanger so I was thankful I didn't have to wait.
In Opulence, we get to meet Devin and Nina who are at the end of their affair. Nina didn't know that he was married and Devin's wife makes her life a living hell so she returns the favor.
Devin doesn't want to let her go but she cuts off all ties, especially the financial ones since Devin handles her money.
But Nina is frustrated at where her life is. She thought having an ungodly amount of money would get rid of a lot of problems but it seems there are only more.
She goes to her favorite place...the beach and that's where she meets Aiden. He's carefree, sings in a band and runs a bar. A far cry from what she's used to and she loves it and she loves what he does to her.
Opulence ends when she finds out a pretty important part about Aiden...and it's a doozy!
Reverence starts off with Devin's POV. We find out a lot about what's going on with him and his wife and how he really feels about Nina.
There's also an issue about a piece of property in Savannah that Devin wants her to sell back to him. She decides not to.
Meanwhile, things have gotten quite steamy with Aiden but he shocks her when he tells her she's been "trained". She's shocked but hey, she likes what she likes and she likes it all the time!
Reverence ends with a chance (or is it) encounter and a surprise move from Aiden...and one from Devin too! ;)
And we end up with Hindrance...this is where things really head into the suspense mode.
Nina has breakfast with her brother and as they are leaving, they get hit by a car. Nina just happens to see Devin's wife across the street and she is furious. After her brother is stable, Nina lets all hell loose.
Fortunately, she has a pretty amazing assistant/now partner who just happens to be handy with a gun and knows quite a few bodyguards. Well, that certainly rings a few WTF's!!
And this time, really all hell breaks loose! OMG...talk about going to the dark side. I had wondered how Kate Stewart was going to make one the front runner...and boy, did she do it in quite the spectacular way!
After all that drama, it was pretty sweet how things ended! A little different from the Kate Stewart we're used to but something you don't want to miss all the same.

Excess is a book that is made up of three novellas previously written under the pen name Angelica Chase. An erotic triangle with many twists and turns. The first novella starts out in the heroine's POV and then the second and third ones are done in multiple POVs to get a better understanding of each of the main characters.
Nina, Devin, and Aiden weave a tangled web. This triangle is not an ordinary one. There are lies and secrets that create a shroud of mystery. What looks to be clear cut is actually full of jagged edges that keeps the reader on edge. We begin with Nina breaking up with Devin. There is heat, passion, lust and love between them but it's also toxic. Nina meets Aiden and while it would seem to be a rebound, there is definitely a connection. But nothing is tidy and wonderful. The secrets and the lies escalate to great cliffy hangers but as all these novellas are wrapped up together, there is no waiting!!
The author writes this erotic story with emotion and intensity. Each character has passion, sensuality, and conviction. Nina is a strong self made millionaire. Devin handles her money and that is how they met and start their relationship. He is powerful, demanding and hiding secrets. Aiden is the wild card and throws havoc into the story. All three of them creat a perfect storm!! I also loved Taylor and her relationship with Nina and am looking forward to her story!! It's a great story full of steamy sex, intrigue and OMG moments!!
If you like sexy, mysterious, faced pace stories......Excess will light you on fire and make you sizzle!!

That just may have been the sexiest, most alluring book I've ever read.
And that ending?! BAM! Holy Hell!
Not only did Kate Stewart write a book that is (wonderfully) full of sexy times, she also managed to create a set of compelling and complex characters. I found myself falling head-over-heels for the anti-hero (AGAIN).
The plot kept me guessing at every single turn -- I'm not easily fooled or surprised, but I found myself shocked a few times throughout this story.
This book is amazing!
It's on my best-of-the-best shelf for a reason -- I highly recommend.

Excess is comprised of three novellas that make up the Excess series: Opulence, Reverence, and Hindrance. Each one ends with a surprising cliffhanger that will leave you jonesing for more. By combining them into one book, you can just grab some hard liquor (because you’ll definitely need it), pop some popcorn, and settle in for an entertaining day of binge reading.
The synopsis warns that if you are not a fan of erotic sex then this is not the book for you. If you look up the word “erotic” in a thesaurus, you find synonyms such as “seductive,” “sensual,” “hot,” “steamy,” “filthy,” and “kinky.” If you add “well-written” then you perfectly describe Excess. Right off the bat you know this is no fluffy chic-lit. The story opens with scorching hot this-is-so-wrong-I-shouldn’t-like-it sex between Nina and Devin.
Nina is a divorced former housewife turned multi-millionaire entrepreneur. She thinks she’s finally found love with Devin—a dominant who is wealthy, rude, calculating, arrogant, and sensual. She winds up getting burned and becoming a social outcast, but she still finds it hard to stay away from him.
Nina wanders into a bar one day and meets bar owner and musician Aiden. He’s not only sexy as hell, he’s also talented, intuitive, sensitive and extremely assertive. The two begin an affair and Nina finally starts to feel happy, but can she finally let Devin go?
This is a love triangle of epic proportions, and the plot becomes increasingly addictive. The more I read, the more conflicted I became as Nina tries to decide whether to choose Devin or Aiden.
It's difficult to write a review without revealing major spoilers, but I will say it’s an unpredictable, angsty rollercoaster. There are several huge plot twists that I did not see coming. My poor brain is still trying to process it all. You may want to do a buddy read, or have your therapist on speed dial. Those who are sensitive to dark reads should be warned. There is a disturbing scene .
The conclusion raises conflict to a Guinness World Record level of anxiety! There are a few details that are glossed over and wrapped up a little too neatly for my tastes, but overall Excess is a satisfying read.

Holy smoke! This book is dirty, dark and addictive. Excess is a combination of 3 books: Opulence, reverence, and hindrance all in one. Nina made a fortune for herself at the age of 28 – she is beautiful and wealthy but unfortunately unlucky in love. After a nasty divorce, she finds Devin who rocks her world in and outside of the bedroom. She comes to find out he harbors a huge secret. She falls in love with Devin but he stomps her heart and throws it away. After a 2-year long relationship, did Devin ever love Nina? He treated her terribly and in away he used her to satisfy his needs, but his heart wanted otherwise. Nina finally let Devin goes. Down and depressed, Nina tumbles into a bar and is mesmerized by the soulful singing voice of Aiden. Her bed has not even had a chance to cool and Nina finds herself a sweet, sexy musician who has no problem satisfying her needs. Just when Nina thinks she is content, happy, and moving on, Devin comes back with the intent to win Nina’s heart, body and soul. Man, can you sense the complications and drama???

Well, I LOVE every minute of this book. I like the plot twist – messy and complicated. Be warned though this book is angsty, sexy, erotic, dark, gritty and full of kinky, filthy sexual encounters. The relationship between Nina, Devin, and Aiden is totally twisted. I cannot say much else in regards to this plot without totally spoiling it for you but I will say that there is bed hopping and cheating going on. I am usually not fond of love triangles but Excess to me is pure fun and entertainment. It is an erotic, romantic suspenseful roller coaster. I love Kate’s flawless writing so it’s easy for me to devour this book in one sitting. You need a damn fan to read this book guys! HOT HOT HOT!!!

Each part of this serial is just over one hundred pages long and all three instalments are out so the story is complete.
Nina was a divorcee and entrepreneur. Since Nina shot to riches with her invention she had always struggled to fit in no matter how hard she tried. The women from the clubs the societies had always given her a hard time and despite trying to buy friendships Nina had never felt more alone. The only real friend Nina had was her financial advisor Devin McIntyre. Their relationship though had gone from purely friendship to an all-out love affair. However Nina always felt that he was holding back and once she finally finds out why she quickly dumps him...well maybe after a few last couplings for good measure.
Nina decides to just be Nina, just be normal and it is while drowning her sorrows in a bar that she meets Aiden. Nina was so conflicted, she desperately wanted to fit in, she wanted friends and she wanted to be loved. She thought that she had that with Devin. She found it hard to forget him, she thought that what they had was real, she had fallen in love and was sure that he had too.
When Nina crosses paths with Aiden he is singing in a bar. She becomes lost in the music and lost in the man that had totally captivated her. Aiden called to Nina...they had a connection and you knew that if they ran with it, it would be explosive. Having just come out of a relationship, would Nina go with the flow, would let she let her heart rule or her head.
Nina and Aiden together were hot and I mean page combusting hot. Angelica Chase can certainly write a mean sex scene. While sex with Devin had been fast, furious, kinky and fantastic, Aiden gave her the best of both worlds, the sweet and caring making love and the kinky no holds barred exhibitionism that she came to find she loved and thrived on. Nina is conflicted though, she is stuck, in two minds...stuck between the man of her past and the man of her present. What to do, what to do.
I went through a plethora of emotions while reading this; I went from loving Devin, to hating him, to feeling sorry for him and back and forth and back and forth. You never knew where this story was going and what a tale the author wove. I only picked this book up initially to get a feel and schedule it, but I ended up reading all three instalments in one sitting, that was how addictive this story became.
I found myself loving and hating both men, both had their plus sides and both had their bad. Seemingly the saying never judge a book by its cover certainly applies with these two men. Both men were chameleons in their own way. You never knew whose skin they were going to appear in. Throughout reading I was trying to piece together the little snippets that I managed to read between the lines but nothing could have prepared me for the tangled web that these three wove.
This series was compelling, extremely addictive and totally intriguing. While you will no doubt have your favourite throughout this story just hold those thoughts until the end, everything you think you know...forget it. Angelica Chase has penned an extremely clever story that had me totally flabbergasted. The highs and lows, the push and pull, combined with some wit and some intensely heated sex scenes leaves you with a perfectly balanced read that will keep those pages turning frantically till the end.
I thoroughly enjoyed this serial and while this is my first read by Angelica Chase it certainly won’t be my last.

Love Kate Stewart's book - I have read so many of them and will continue to do so!! She has a flawless style yet can change it up into many topics - fun and sporty, deep and soul crushing, swoony banter chemistry filled - you name it!! But this book didn't quite do it for me - 2.5 stars. I actually liked the first part of the book(my 2.5 stars) - The hate for Devin was real, the chemistry and early days with Aiden was on point - but I quickly stumbled into a slow and torturous love triangle that quickly spiraled into a mess that couldn't clean itself up. I struggled to finish it and pretty much skimmed the end.
I added this book simply because Kate Stewart is a one-click author for me, I didn't do my research until after I got halfway into this book - oh well! Probably would have passed this one up had I known this was just a repackaged Erotica set - this was simply a BDSM/Erotica fueled storyline and while reading it I didn't feel anything Kate Stewart. Now that I've researched it - I can see why this failed me - This book was originally put out as 3 short novellas titled Opulence, Reverence, and Hinderance - written as the Author Angelica Chase - AKA Kate Stewart writing under a pen name in the erotica/BDSM genre. So yes, it does have a different feel to it. Now I get it. Still can't wait to read the rest of Stewart's novels!

Excess by Kate Stewart is completely different from her other works. But it doesn't make it any less amazing. Here's the thing: Kate Stewart masters the art of deliverying powerful stories whichever the genre. It's as simple as that.
This book might not be for everyone as the twist is pretty fucked up but this is what I loved about it. It relates the constant battle of woman consumed by her demons, her weakness, her lust, her love.
It is raw, shady,with secretive characters, lot of angst and betrayal.
It is beautiful, powerful and insightful.
I loved it.

An absolute stunning hot amazing fascinating and thrilling story.
Love•Lust•Betrayal•Revenge•Forgiveness
Engrossed from page 1 and of course I fell in love however I didn't know if I was wrong to love this character as I felt there was much unknown but as I progressed in the story I didn't care if I was loving the wrong guy cause he was good in my eyes.
The author did an incredible job introducing 2 male characters that you won't know which one! So intense.
*Whoa* I fanned several times throughout as there were some mighty good steamy scenes.
"The tragedy was, she would never know that I loved her. That I still love her, that I would always love her"

In fact I read three books of The Excess series by Angelica Chase (pen name) which were later released in one book under original writer's name Kate Stewart. I had this three books on my reader for ages, so I hope Excess book released in 2017 doesn't have any add-ups.
It's hard to write anything about this book to not reveal any spoilers. Let's say I didn't like Devin in first book and I didn't like Aiden in second book. My favorite was first book where a lot of things are still hidden and very secretive. With each book also drama effect is increasing. Author stated that only this ending was possible and there was never any other option, so let's be it.
Kate Stewart is a PROFI when writing about love triangles and cheating. Not to mention her talent to write hot steamy erotica scenes. Another great book from her!

My mind was officially blown after finishing this book..I was very intrigued by this entire story. Just when I felt it was going to be the same ol' cliche love story of finding out someone had been wronged in some way, then the offensing person had to find their way back into the good graces of the wronged etc etc. I was mistkaen, there is so much more to this book and story. I had a hard time putting thos one down for sure!

The Excess Series is, Deliciously Dark, Tantalisingly Twisted and sinfully Sexy!
This whole series will have you hanging off the edge of your seat with all the twists & turns, and trust me when I say they are some MEGA, SHOCKING twists!
While reading, beware you may need to hop into a cold shower a few times as this book is HOT!

OMFG!!! I don't even know what to say at this point about this book/bundle!! I thought oh I have read Kate Stewart books before, I really enjoyed them, here she is rereleasing something she did before I got to know her.....
Yeah well I should have at least read/looked at which categories this book is usually placed in. DARK, holy shit is this book twisted and dark!!! I LOVED every minute of it, all the frustration for different character's actions, all the back and forth craziness, and OMG that last 20% had me up until 1 am on a work night to see how it all ended. WOW, JUST F-ing WOOOOOOOOW!!! Kate, I wish I had finished this story before I filmed my Tuesday Talks about author's writing styles because YOU MY DEAR, definitely make the list with this one!!!

Nina and Devin....what a wild ride this book was! This was a lot more suspenseful than the 1st book in this series, Sexual Awakenings. Although I enjoyed that one a tad bit more, I think Excess gives you a run for your money here. The BDSM aspect of the story wasn't as strong as the first one but this story was very captivating and kept me on my toes. I went into the book hating Devin for being such an asshole and cheater but once you learn his story, you'll understand why.
Nina's character took a while to grow on me. I just found her to be petty in a way but I didn't mind it. She also had a lot of internal struggles to deal with and her love for Devin, given their circumstance, didn't make her situation any better but in comes Aiden who is sexy, talented, and swoon-worthy. He lays it down thick...let me tell you! I was really rooting for him until the end which is where the twist is in this story! I honestly didn't see it coming and that's what I love about Kate's work. Some of her stories are just unpredictable and this was one of them.
I highly recommend this book if you want some hotness and suspense in your life!

Loved loved loved. Completely hot and fiery and full of jam packed action and it definitely is a roller coaster of emotions and events. This is a must read! Secrets and lies will be exposed. Are you ready?

Holy crap on a cracker! This book review is damn near impossible to review without spoiling the ride- and I REFUSE to spoil it. I read all three books separately and since that time, this has been put into one long book- Excess. So I'll attempt to lump my three reviews into one comprehensive review.
This is a love triangle so if that's a hard limit, turn around and walk away. Gah, these men are machines! I seriously don't know which man I'd pick to rock my world. Both men were virile, dominating... But I digress.....
Excess is filled with everything- mystery, suspense, and steam. There's a huge plot twist and, rest assured, the book will be devoured until all the scenarios are played out. I REALLY enjoyed this. In fact, the first third was a bit iffy for me and it really picked up after that. I became more invested in each of the characters- in their eventual outcome.
In a book I feared was going to be 90% erotic smut and 10% story, the tables have turned and we've ended with a fantastic, fairly-complex story filled with all kinds of twists and turns I did not see coming. I love to be thrown off and Kate Stewart pulled it off here in spades.

The chemistry with Aiden and Nina was undeniable; Devin seemed to own a piece of Nina as well given their history. Kate Stewart did an amazing job of interweaving the characters without giving anything away as to where this will end or even the path that will be taken. Nina's sense of being lost is portrayed well. And the sex scenes make it oh so HOT! Along with the intrigue, suspense and mystery that was slowly revealed this makes for a story that has held me captive from the very beginning. I will say that the very last word of this book completely took me by surprise; I never saw that coming! Now I MUST read the next book in this series to see where Kate will take this story.
Reverence:
Kate Stewart continues to bring the heat with Aiden and Nina. Their story continues with both revelations and scorching hot sex that will rock you. The pain and indecision of Nina is felt throughout this book while her wings are being spread to fly free of all the constrictions that have bound her from the past. Will she realize her freedom is right at her fingertips or will she fall back into the troubles of her past? Is Devin out of the picture? Or is he going to fight for a chance with Nina? Her connections with both Aiden and Devin are real and intense but is she grasping at wanting what can't be hers? Is she trying to become someone she is not? Can Nina find happiness and if so, with whom? Will the sordid lies of the past be revealed? Who is telling the truth and whom can she trust? All this I hope to have answered in the next book. I'm left with more questions than answers and this truly impresses me with Kate Stewart's writings.
Hindrance:
I thought I knew who I was rooting for, but then I didn't. I thought I knew which way was up, but clearly I was wrong! Kate Stewart has given you an ending to this series that is totally mind boggling and I loved every minute of it! Hate will turn to love and love will turn to hate - your world will be turned upside down in the most glorious way! Suspense, mystery and HOT steamy sex!

OMG i just finished this book and i freaking love it.
I went into this book blank, meaning i didnt read the blurb of the book, by the beginning of the book i know it wasn't a safe read yay,we are to a good start. Next i love suspense and this book definitely kept me on my toes there for a while.I felt like i was on a rollecoster going up and down, and with some very scary turns, best ride of the park right ... i know im all over the place trying to explain my emotions with this book, but that is what happens when i read a book by this author, she knows how to play with them, in the best possible way.
So i dont want to say anything that would give way the plot, all i can do is tell you this is a fantastic story,that is not predictable and it would give you all those feelings you are looking in a book and did i mention that it was deliciously hot, so there you know now.
I can't wait to see what this author bring us next, i can tell you this much, she definitely surprise me with this book, and i have read almost all her previous books except for Taylor story which you will meet her on this book.

Talk about sexy, talk about steam, talk about suspense, and hello you have one hot book!! I wasn't sure where exactly this book was going. I was definitely intrigued but kind of like ok what's next? We'll let me tell you, I never would have guessed! Not in a million years! Never ever ever judge a book by its cover, in this case meaning Aiden or Devin. Pun not really intended!!
So we have Nina, she's trying to weave her way through life after becoming rich. Devin is there to help. Sooo much drama later and she's had enough. Enters Aiden. He's sweet, caring, and basically the opposite of Devin..... two guys who our girl Nina likes. Who will she choose? Why will she choose him? Does she know either like she thinks she does? You're head will be spinning but in a good way while reading this. You'll want to know the answers to these questions and more! You won't be disappointed and you'll definitely have a good time reading!!

Wow Excess, should be Aiden or Devin?
Who is the good guy? Is there ever a way to know? Nina is torn between too sexy Dom's. Picking the one with the good heart seems hard , and murky! Just when you decide Nina should walk away from both, it gets interesting.
